A lot of the old muscle cars are restored/built to extremes...with amazing results...but...a lot of them waste way to much time standing still, so it sure is nice to see a beautiful car built to be driven as much as possible....and hard! Great car!
The overbuilt cars tend to be more race cars than daily-driver capable like this car.

What can I say about the Chevelle, that hasn't been said, IT ROCKS!!! But what I want to know is how you can do that and no LEO shows up, that thing is LOUD and you are on a street next to a neighborhood, I LOVE IT

Thats the better side of bako and often times LEO dont care as long as its not at early morning hours or late at night.

Not a bad lookin' Chevelle ordinarily I'm not a fan of the blackout look, but the 2-tone wheels really bring the overall look together, & she roars like a beast!

Awesome of you to come up here to Bakersfield man. We've got a lot of cool hot rods and muscle cars. Love this Chevelle by the way. Have seen it alot over the years at our local cars and coffee. Oddly don't see alot of the old stuff like this at c&c. MAYBE 10 of us show up in our 60's muscle. That being said, as I mentioned Bakersfield has of great cars cruising around.

Really great color combo and stance......just the right rims. Sweet sounding exhaust note. I can never figure how they get so much power out of LS3 motors. I'm not into burnouts.....too damn poor, I guess. Glad this fella got his dream car back......wish all of us could get our "dream car" back again.....maybe if I'm good, St. Pete will hand be the keys to it when I check out........ P.S. Just about bought this very model/year and then settled on Roadrunner.....love 'em both.

@@NickV70 What cam specs do you have. Getting ready to buy a crate LS3 long block and torn on which one to buy. The 430 hp and cam later or say the 495 with Hot Cam.
@@judyparker7820 I have a BTR Custom cam. I called them and we went over what I have on this Chevelle and they made the cam. It's similar to the stage 3 cam they stated to me.

People really gripe about the sound of an LS?
I get that some people find them boring because they’re so common (though they’re popular for a reason!), but how can you not like that sound?! Sounds great.
Also nice to see a build with a (slightly!) more sensible power output. 500hp is plenty and means you can at least wring it out a bit on the road without getting yourself into too much trouble!
Agreed all the way! Power to weight on this is perfect and LS’s are common like 350’s once we’re because they work 👊

This is the type of build i like.. great running gear, looks and sounds killer (even though i dont like the blacked out chrome)
