@@adinwalls if you look back at their first dongle that they came out with. It was also a brick design, but it had a pair button that was inspired by the Mario coins.
That controller looks neat. 8bitdo makes good products. I have the sn30pro and it works very well. I got the grey dongle for it to use on super console x. Ty for the video
I bought the wired variant. Wired is OK since I just sit next to the CPU. It feels great on 3rd person shooters, dpad is decent enough for 2D fighting games.
This controller rocks. I questioned the new dpad at first, but actually playing games with it revealed even more comfort and precision than with the Pro 2. I am glad the paddle buttons were removed, because I always had an urge to press them for no reason. Latency with the 2.4G connection has essentially hit the lowest possible.
I just picked up 2 of these... FANTASTIC controller! I have big hands, and it feels great...and my 10 yr old son obviously has small hands, and he loves it to. Edit: Also just ran some input lag testing on wireless mode, and they average UNDER 2ms, and usually under 1ms. Thats incredible for the price
I bought the wired Wukong edition when i saw it was only £20. I just wanted to see what all this talk around hall effect was about. The build quality is more premium than i was expecting for that price, and the feel of the XYAB buttons and Dpad is quite good and tactile. Also the included USB cable is very nice My only gripe is the sticks are more stiff than i was expecting and even when i disable deadzone it still doesnt feedback to the game when i move it a little. It's also a bit more difficult to press the sticks down for L3 and R3. I got very used to using a Dualsense controller on my PC and those analog sticks move and click with less effort in comparison. Its gonna take some time to adjust i guess. Maybe it's because my Dualsense has been "worn in"? I'll keep using this Ultimate 2C and find out. Might end up returning it
Ordered this controller after my PS5 controller i used for my PC got stick drift. It releases here the 18th so still have some waiting to do. Fortunately most games i play with mouse and keyboard so "Like a dragon: Infinite wealth" will have to wait until the new controller comes.
An important fact I left out is that this does not have x-input/d-input selection which limit you trying to play older games on PC. You may, however get away with play older releases via the Steamdeck.
@@adinwallsi was looking at the other virtue version for my steam deck because of the orange details will this looks as good as a match compared to the virtue?
Dpad is kinda stiff, will break in I hope in weeks*. Also, (very important) Re-pair your joystick for optimum response* The software sucks, an update, which you need to have great response and better calibration. Overall- No wireless controller like this can cost less than 30 with a nice design Hall-effect, Turbo, extra buttons and response time*. Beiton Asura 2 pro Plus crushes this controller and on Amazon on a good day, you can get that for $35 even has Gyro and works for switch.
@@adinwalls yes! I actually have a normal ultimate C, but it feels weird to me that they always leave some feature out in these special editions, like that viture one is also a C but doesn't come with the dock or hall effect joysticks?? Weird stuff

Minecraft to Gen Z eyes, maybe, lol.

That Brick layout on the dongle is more Mario inspired and not Minecraft
You think? I just remember it coming out at the same time as the Minecraft craze.

8bitdo- Nintendo. It's absolutely Nintendo/Mario inspired and 8bitdo are 100% retro inspired company.

Awesome review and controller. 8BitDo and Gamesir has been my go to brand for controllers of late.

Love 8bitdo so much. I yearn for the commodore keyboard they have. Digging my original Ultimate controller from them
Good review!
Yes I just love the dock. I hate having USB cables lying everywhere to charge.

It is extremely gorgeous. I gotta give it, they absolutely nailed the aesthetic design of this controller. Great video Adin!

Yes. Works fine.
Turbo mode for the new dbz game going to go hard af 😆
They should also had that Wukong golden headband design on that controller
I don't know. I think gold would have been too much
This controller is sick! Kinda stinks it doesn't work on Switch. Love your videos dude 🤘

Does it work with Retroid Dock or the Analogue Pocket Dock?
It's Android compatible so yes
