I use one daily it's one of my favorites. It is badass at black and grey. It builds up tones really well and heals beautifully. Also packs in color really well. No problems with it whatsoever. Absolutely love my bishop microangelo.
I use the long stroke on it to do 3rl bng shading I love it I just pulled it out the other day and started using it againg I'm getting alot if single needle work as of lately and this machine is great for that
I don't understand the people that say it burns out quick or this or that, it's a great machine and is great for any style....it contains a Maxon motor best you can get , same brand FK Irons machines use and other top name companies. I've noticed people like to leave negative comments when they've never actually tried one.
Compared to a bishop fantom it hits harder more versatile.. the easy cam switch out is convenient af .. if you do a verity of styles and Like all the options it has like quick cam change and using regular needles and carts then it may be the machine for you ... personally I prefer the fantom for just black and grey ... but I can line and color and black and gray with the micro so it's very versatile as I said.
Awsome I got a dragonhawk v2s I like this style rotary a lot more than pens and I know dragonhawk isn’t close to bishop but it made me wana try more style machines, I haven’t tried a rotary with traditional needles yet
I know this is not a Bishop Magi. But hopefully this helps someone in regards to the Bishop direct drive. I had 2 Bishop Magi. One of them is still running strong (newer). The other one (slightly older) was cutting in and out on me during a tattoo. I shook it around a bit and it would sputter before it completely stopped. I switched to my other Magi and put the older one to the side. I later picked it up again and ran with no problem. Not sure what happened. But I was very disappointed. Needless to say, I got rid of it. Still holding on to the newer one only because it was a gift from my wife.
Great review! Just ordered mine, can't wait to try it out. Would you be able to send a link to where you got your grommet for the plunger? I can't seem to find it on any of the supply sites. Thanks, and thanks again for the info!
@@tattootheory ive finally bought an HM La Pinta, but im struggling with the lines, maybe the machine does not work for lines, what you think, have you ever tried it?
Hey there! Quick question, has your o-ring snapped? Mine broke twice already and im following the voltage parameters, please let me know if this has happened to you thanks!
Is the O-ring supposed to be hanging out like that? Also, I think "Magi" is pronounced as "MAJ eye". That's how the word "magi" is pronounced anyway, not sure how they intend it to be pronounced. Peace
grigor titus They are both great machines it depends on if you strictly use cartridges or want the option of using standard tubes as well. If you are mainly using cartridges I would get the fantom in the 4.2mm stroke but that's my preference.

I honestly don’t even remember where I got it but I’d say check eBay you should be able to find them on there.
do you recommend this machine?
This machine only runs cartridge?
Juan Ignacio Yañez Durán you can use standard needles on this machine. If that is what you are looking for then I recommend it.
@@tattootheory ive finally bought an HM La Pinta, but im struggling with the lines, maybe the machine does not work for lines, what you think, have you ever tried it?
Juan Ignacio Yañez Durán no I have never tried that machine so I am not sure bro.
I wish the people saying they tried the machine & don’t like it would say why... not very helpful to just say it sucks with no constructive criticism.
