      +@beeseenbeats5012 Glad you enjoyed it. We are primarily camping in NY, but stayed in 3 Michigan campgrounds and loved all 3. Thanks for watching and safe travels!

      Hope you love it! We didn’t know about Yooper stones at the time and found out that they can be found just off shore. We did however come home with Petosky stones.

    Poor Kevin, I can just feel his heart pounding going over that bridge!

    Great video! That bridge trip 😬😆 I'm heading for Munising Tourist park next September. I'd love to know if you use anything special to rest your kayaks on the top of your truck. I have a MiniLite and travel with a Perception and Tundra too

      +@phyllis5600 I wish we had a proper answer for that 😂. This was the first year with the MicroLite so we improvised and used towels on top of the cab of the Tundra. This off season, we’re looking into alternate solutions. I did see a rack which faces forward but you lose the taneau cover. All the options to keep the cover are expensive.
      As far as that bridge, I hope you’re not nervous about heights and bridges like Kevin is. He said it was the worst he’s driven over but it was SO worth it!! Thanks for watching!!

      I know I have been trying to figure out a solution. I was carrying it crossways in my bed, but it came unstrapped when I was parking on my last trip and went through the windshield of my camper. What a PIA it is getting it fixed.
      I never thought about this solution. I’m gonna give it a try.
      Or else it’s an inflatable next.
      I have written across that bridge, but never driven nor towed a camper. I figure if I can drive in 60 mile an hour wind gust in North Carolina. I should be able to handle this. I don’t really like those metal grates on bridges either.
      Thanks for the response 😊

      @@phyllis5600 That is awful! I’m so sorry that happened to you. We are looking at a rack for this coming season. I’m not happy we’ll have to take off the tonneau cover, but the ones that leave the cover in place are over a thousand dollars and that just isn’t reasonable!

      Hi! I remember speaking with you about the kayak rack for the Tundra. We just installed a reasonably priced high quality rack. I can’t send pictures through YT, but if you want to message us through FB, we can share our findings.

    if he was scared, why didn't you drive? women can't drive? what year is this? 1812?

      I drive it sometimes. The truck is my daily driver. He would be scared either way. At least this way he had something to concentrate on.

      We thought it was the best because we could camp right on the Lake. What is your opinion of the best?

    • @bobconner422

      @CampingCompanions
      Everyone has what they like .
      Bayview is better in our opinion rustic so not for everyone .
      25 sites and miles of beach almost totally yours. Water front sites also

    • @CampingCompanions
      @CampingCompanions  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed. Are there waterfront electric sites? We don’t mind rustic as long as there is electricity.

      No electricity just out house and hand pump for water .

      @@bobconner422 we try to do campground tours, not reviews. Everyone camps differently so we like to show what’s there and let you make up your mind. We just felt this was the best for us. We appreciate you watching!
