Beautiful video! Do you need ‘boat ‘ experience to rent one of these

Nope, if you can drive a car and use some common sense you should have no issues. The people at the rental place are super helpful too with advice. They will walk you through it all. Thanks for watching! We’d love for you to hit that subscribe button if you haven’t, thanks! ~Wilson & Kelli

I loved the pictured rocks. We did the cruise tour but In hindsight I wish I would have rented the boat.

Thanks for watching! We are really glad we did the rental. We were going to have some friends meet up with us in this area of Michigan (by flying there and hanging out, but they couldn't work it out), and we were going to do a full day on the boat...but a 1/2 day was a great day for us. So glad the weather cooperated. We sat around the camper that morning really unsure about our rental, but it turned out to be a beautiful, calm day on the water! ~Kelli and Wilson

We're looking forward to our trip to Pictured Rocks. We're debating whether or not to take the cruise or rent a pontoon. Glad the weather cooperated. Your kids are very adventurous.

Hey guys! Thanks for watching. Renting the boat was a great choice for us. We were able to enjoy 4 hours on the water, stop and see what we wanted and let the kids swim too, so we are fans of this choice. It definitely depends on what you are looking for though--I (Kelli) may would have liked to do this and then do a lighthouse cruise to see other things. We know y'all will have a blast on your trip. ~Kelli and Wilson

Thanks for watching! Yes, Michigan is one of those states that has so much to offer that we had no idea about. We're so glad we got to experience some of it's great beauty this past summer! ~Kelli and Wilson

How long did you rent the boat? Is there enough to see/do for a 6 hour rental?

We did the 8 hour rental. The ride was a few hours just looking and our kids wanted to swim at a few beaches. We also explored the shipwreck. If you aren’t swimming, a four hour ride is probably plenty. Thanks for watching ~Wilson & Kelli
