We were there in August with our Camper Van

I am in my early 50's. I have been camping since a baby. I have ALWAYS waved when I see a rv/camper and I am hauling as well. Most of the time I get a wave back and someones even a honk of the horn.... I will do it until I am too old to hook up the camper to the truck!

Guarantee had yall opted for the Suburban the first time, you wouldn't have had those issues. Suburbans are not short wheelbase. The tahoe is short wheelbase. THE suburbans competed and beat the mammoth Ford Escursion, which is based on the 2500, for a reason. The suburban was made for your exact purpose, but somehow your research led you to the wrong choice.

GM should definitely bring back the 2500 Suburban. There is a market for it and it will sell. As of now, the government are the only ones who get it. But at least there are still used 2500 Suburbans out there.

Im surprised yall preffered the Tahoe over the Suburban. The extra space of the Suburban i find to be invaluable. I dont even have kids yet(God willing).

Well, when you're on a budget, like i am. You just buy a GMT800 Suburban Z71 4x4 and make it your camper/daily driver😂

You should have sealed the hole in the roof to the vent pipe to add another barrier to protect against leaks and prevent tank gases from entering the roof and getting inside. Vent pipe being loose while not good isn’t necessarily a problem if the pipe doesn’t rotate. If it rotates or you can pull up on it then a fitting in the wall has become unglued or detached.

I believe in my travels, I have driven past that ice cream place a few times over the years. Awesome sunset, we've had some great ones this year. I enjoyed the video, as I always do. Every now and then you might get someone without proper camping etiquette (usually younger kids), but most people are courteous when camping. A friend of mine had joggers running through his site once a few years ago at Green Lakes, he wanted to tie fishing line around the 2 poles that the joggers were cutting through on his site, but he didn't, because he figured he would get in trouble. Always looking forward to the next camping adventure, Have a great week, and a great weekend when you get to it.

I just found your youtube page. I live just across the border in PA. I am going to try out some of these campground next year for sure. We usually go to Ives Run near Tioga, PA about 25 minutes South of Corning NY. I will be checking out more of your videos!

You missed a spot. Lol just kidding. Thanks so much for a great tutorial. I was up on my fiberglass roof yesterday trying to replace my vent . It was covered with this really hard black stuff that i had to chisel off. When i got to the bottom i realized someone riveted it on. About 12 rivets. Soooo i think i will just do exactly what you did and butyl tape over them and use the other holes for the screws.

Just a note, remove the Negative (Black) cable first. And when re-installing, do it in reverse order, as in connect Positive (Red) first, then the Negative (Black). No sparking this way.

We don't take the battery out of our class C, but keep it plugged into the house/shore power during the winter

We love Cedar Point and have to tell you that you had the worst site there, the armpit of the park. 😂😂

I have to say that you guys had a lousy site, there are some great sites that are much bigger in the Dragonfly loop that we like. There is some things that we're not fans of such as lack of water spigots and the bath houses are old, however they have started renovations and will be closed next season. The park is only about a 20 minute drive for us so its convenient, overall we like the park but wouldn't drive hours to get to it.

One of our favorite campgrounds! Great review.

"Back in the day," my wife and I camped at Triple R too many times to count, from 2003 (?) until we started experiencing illnesses, cancers, and injuries. We were seasonal for one year, but staying in one place with a son in the Army was impractical. The past three seasons were a bust, but we're hoping 2015 will be kinder to us. We live less than twenty-five miles south of Triple R, so camping there was even better, especially when Site 3 is available. John and Jenn are the best campground hosts you could ask for, so if you're traveling through New York's Southern Tier, take a few extra minutes to stop and enjoy.

I’m glad you found your sunglasses Amy. 😂 The white caterpillar is a Hickory Tussock Moth Caterpillar. Don’t touch them, the hairs are barbed on the ends, so they may leave venomous hairs embedded in your skin if you brush up against one. But they turn into a very pretty moth.
