We enjoyed the UP on our recent visit. What a strange setup for that campsite. It was beautiful right at the waters edge. Looking forward to next weeks episode! - Mike and Shelley

We love the UP and being near the lake iwa nice. It was a strange setup, but luckily David carries extras, so it worked out. Thanks for watching our adventures. Happy and safe travels.

YES! We have had to face some challenges with our sites as well! Crazy how they put the water so far away?!

Well I had another comment that stated it might have been a buddy site. And as I noted in the comments on the video itself that this would be great for a drivable RV and pull straight in. That would have made it on the correct side. The site was beautiful and we loved the area. Basically it was mostly my fault or so. Tina said. Lol 😂

That's how it was at Mustang Island State Park but some how I knew that I had to get a spot on the left hand side . Nice lake shore campsite. Yeah we never get the off leash people. Thanks for sharing

We love the UP. We stayed in between Munising and Mastinique...but got to both cities from there.

Is/was that Jack Pine? I think that was the place we saw. We also stayed in Manistique before we started the channel.

@@RVWagginTails Yes it was. Nice spot but getting there on about 8 miles of washboard/gravel logging road coming up from tEscanaba was no fun.

As someone else that travels with a small dog it drives me batty when people have large dogs off leash in an RV park. Just leash your dog, it's not that hard to understand! The lake really looks lovely, we so wanna get to the UP.

I know right? If you have a BIG dog, use a BIG leash and secure it with a BIG yard stake. Incidents like these may cause some of these parks to never allow dogs.

Beautiful area. We might be going back to Northern Michigan this fall if we can swing it, but I want to check out Lake Superior for sure!

It was beautiful and I'm sure in the fall with the leaves changing. Oh man!

I have been to only 1 campground that requires a 25’ water hose. Everyone else is 30’+ so I got a 15’ extension.

    • @RVWagginTails
      @RVWagginTails  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think I have a 30 and 2 20 ft hoses and I'm glad I did. There have been other sites have been to where it's further away than that

You don’t have a Rhino 28 gal honey wagon on your ladder?. They are gold when you camping at state parks, have big family, or not dumping between parks.

Not yet. Thanks for watching. I didn't think about that being a buddies site

  • @toddramsay977

You got a buddy campsite. One person pulls in and the other backs in, so you face each other. It confused me at first when we did it by mistake. You buddy camp with the site on you drivers side in your scenario, you should have pulled in, not backed in.

You know, I didn't think about that. It might have been noted on the reservation system. I'll have to go look again.

Just like being on the beach. Was it cold there? I'm seeing beanie hats and sweat shirts. I wouldn't have expected cold weather late July, early August even though it is Northern United States. Also, I know there are adapters that allow your 50 amp power cord to plug into a 30 amp outlet, but is there an adapter that can convert 30 amps to 50 amps? Thanks for the video.

Yeah we use a 30 to 50 amp cable adapter. This video was recorded in early July but it was still chilly.
