I had psoriasis over 20 years ago. I had it from eating dairy and bad food in general. Leaving away the dairy didn't help but fasting did. I'm glad I had a real doctor back then. Of course I had to pay him by myself, the social security don't cover something that helps people. After the fasting I could eat dairy again and whenever my skin got worse I just reduced dairy. I never drank milk again though. Reducing refined sugar and grains to a minimum is what kept me healthy as well, probably.

My personal experience was by 3 main things I focused on:
1- less sugar in all foods
2-relaxing and take things easy, no stress at all.
3- fasting, Ramadan helped amazingly and I continue doing fasting every Monday and Thursday. Even if no full fasting on Monday and Thursday, but I drink water when I need, and only one meal morning or afternoon, and the other light meal evening, and mostly focusing on vegetable in the evening meal. And all gone the dryness on my face and legs.

Had psoriasis for 20 years; absolutely terrible. Strict keto, low carb, and fasting (extended fasting 3-7 days) several times a year almost completely healed my skin. Had a very light flare-up about a month ago. Coffee, rooibos tea (not green tea), and wine are BIG triggers for psoriasis (for me, at least). I had too much coffee yesterday and have a new spot this morning😮‍💨. So back to fasting for a couple of days (water only).

My psoriasis has never been severe; although I've noticed it in my teens. Never had plaques but after the stress of surviving hurricane Ian it's been trying to be an issue on my scalp. Also have had mild thyroid symptoms over the years that now that I'm in my early 70`s my hair is thinning & never had much eyebrows & my skin has always been dry. Keto has been my friend in loosing my Covid weight after I finally retired at 70. OMAD came easily & by accident; then I saw the fasting videos & realized it was a good thing !!! I walk 2 to 3 miles every day but haven't done any work outs in years because I actually had a "physically active" job. I'm getting my supplements now from you & I'm grateful for your quality products!!! My gut seems healthy; I prefer to eat a lot of greens, fresh eggs & vegetables with meat a few times a week. Just started the sea kelp, getting your trace minerals this week. My problem is in occasional dizziness. Vertigo was an issue but since my walks include "star gazing " that's about gone although I have one eye astigmatism & one eardrum perforation, So I'm wondering if dizziness is just a Thing I'll have to deal with. I don't take any medication & BP is normal. Oh well.
I've learned more from your videos & I'm truly grateful that you give us this information !!! I'm hoping if I give it some time the supplements will gradually improve things; I've already seen a change for the better in the last 4 months. Thank you so much !!!

As far as your hair thinning, not have much eyebrows, dry skin, etc. that could potentially be related to thyroid which is usually related to other things which can often include iodine deficiency. Dr Berg has some videos on it and another great resource is Dr. David Brownstein.

    1. Vitamin D: Take 1/2 hr sunlight preferably during sunrise daily
    2. Leave refined sugar completely
    3. Leave salt (clears skin dramatically)
    4. Completely avoid - gluten, lactose, meat
    5. Fill your meals with salads, steamed vegetables, fruits
    6. Avoid seed oil, use little olive oil for cooking
    7. Stress: Manage stress through walking, yoga, pranayama
    8. Pranayama: Anulom-Vilom works wonders
    9. Ghee: Use empty stomach ghee to cure gut damage (Ayurveda)
    10. Avoid fried items completely
    11. Leave grains for 8 weeks
    12. Fasting: Intermediate or full will expedite gut healing
    13. Stop using chemical- soaps, shampoo (coconut oil works wonders)

I was diagnosed with upper and lower ulceric colitis. I was a longtime big user of Splenda. I went cold turkey on Splenda and sugar. No more intestinal issues. I quit bread and my really bad dandruff and itchy scalp disappeared. It's amazing how much food at the store is actually unhealthy to consume. I still get this blistering that flares up on the bridge and left side of my nose. It doesn't hurt at all. But it looks really bad. Usually cover it with a bandaid. I get this once, sometimes twice a year. It takes about two weeks to totally heal. I have noticed faster healing with extra vitamin c and calcium supplements. I also heal faster when I apply Povidone-iodine to the area once a day with a swab. Have no clue what causes this skin flare up. The body can be a real mystery sometimes😺

@@sophukinsikofit I have thought of that. Not sure what it could be. Back in the 2000's I adopted a second cat. After a few months she started making a habit of sleeping on my pillow. Once I observed her outside. She was rolling around in something only she seemed to see/smell. After that I started putting my pillow up. But it was around that time that I had my first outbreak of these creepy sores on the side of my nose. I'm a belly sleeper. So my face is usually on the left or right side of the pillow. Not sure if that was just coincidental. But who knows what she rolled around in during her daily outings. Yikes! Never had any diagnosis. I had liver issues back the. So they did extensive blood testing on just about every disease to try and find out the source of my liver inflammation. Everything came back negative. It's really weird. It's never spread. It's just that area on the side of the nose. Crazy! I started a regimen of wiping my nose once a day with 70% rubbing alcohol and cotton pads. Not sure how much it helps. But when I start to see or feel anything in that area. I break out the Providone-Iodine solution. That really seems to help. It also seems to speed up the healing process.👍

And the other is your work from the top down. Which means you work from the brain to the gut. If the gut is deficient, you must use probiotics and prebiotics including kefir and sauerkraut. If you work on the brain, you have to start with the B1....

I’m not sure that it ever really goes away; I had really bad psoriasis over 50 years ago, as a result of a near fatal road accident. A Homeopath gave me arnica, which apparently worked particularly because my psoriasis was the result of sudden shock… It mostly cleared up within four days, and I was virtually clear within two weeks… Now 50 years later, there is still a visible, dormant small flaky patch on one knee, but at one time I was losing, nearly a square foot of skin every day, in several places where I had wounds. Yes, sunshine and salt water, as well as pink germolene all help the symptoms to diminish.

I did that, also (later) with germolene which was better… but the arnica did the remedy for me (about 3 months after the accident, when he diagnosed me).

Thank you for this video I've been having skin lesions that I thought was just a bacterial infection.. but everything I do for the bacteria wasn't really helping.
I've come to the conclusion it's plaque psoriasis caused by SIBO or gut ulcers, or IBD.
Im growing Artesia absinthium to treat both the skin infections (I'm homeless and don't have access to a hot shower, so even scratches get infected and heal slowly) and for my gut issues.

    Hi Dr Berg.
My father had lifelong psoriasis which would aggravate in winters. However, my father is a follower of nature therapy, fasting and fruit diet. He now eats fruit most of the time and avoids grain /dairy as long as he can (he eats fruit 2-3 days in a row, then grain one day and back again to fruits) . And also keeps fast occasionally. Doing this psoriasis is very much in control

I chronically get Tinea Versicolor, which is a fungus (yeast) that bleaches patches of my skin, since I’m 16 (I’m 64 now). You don’t notice it right away, but if you stand in front of a mirror and scrunch up the skin say, on your chest, you will see light patches that look like you got sprayed with a hose. Sorry but that’s what it looks like . Anyway, I bought an OTC shampoo that contains Ketoconazole and I wash my hair with it, my body, and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Also wash some of my clothes with it, and linens. I’m getting silver infused sheets in the mail, and hopefully that will help too.
It causes itching but mostly it looks odd. I also have small fiber neuropathy and lupus and Sjögren’s etc., but that’s another story . Yes vitamin D helps, as I don’t go out in the sun bc of the lupus and I’m always running on a deficit.
I got tired of going up the doc for the TV so that’s why I keep the OTC KC shampoo on hand.
