4 Foods to Avoid: Bovine, Casein, Gluten, and (sometimes) Egg Whites
-Not easily broken down and cause immune dysfunction in some cases
-Not everyone reacts equally to all 4 of these foods, so it is important to still track!
-Food sensitivity tests are notoriously difficult to interpret in the pro-inflammatory state.
-OK to re-introduce some of these foods, when time is right.
You may consider a protease supplement (Top pick: PBenzymes.com).
Some clinicians believe it helps tremendously (but the recent research is limited).

Every body is different, what works with you will not work with others, what I made and took away more than 95% of my psoriasis is to perform a VERITEST blood exam, that told me exactly what food should I avoid. (Veritest is how the test is called in Mexico, don’t know if it is called that way around the world, the blood test will tell you which food causes inflammation to your body, and there fore psoriasis. Hope this info help alot of people.

And i found the scales from my reddish skin reduced since I cutting short on the usage of soap on my skin. I think too alkaline sopa can be a problem to psoriasis patients. Do you agree?

Seriously, quite eating all sugar even sweet fruits, and all gluten, all dairy. I don't know about meats because I'm a vegan, except I eat our farm eggs. Any way stop eating them for 2-3 months, you should clear up, then slowly add one thing at a time in moderation, if it starts getting red, or scales quit and eat less, that will be all you can eat of these 3 things. I had to stop white sugar, and I eat natrual sugars maybe 1-2 times a week, no dairy for me and gluten in moderation, I choose to eat the Ezekiel bread with no sugar in it. Sometimes psoriasis can be from mold and the air quality in your home, from pets even

I think there's an inherent problem in how people discuss food journaling and thinking about what they eat and how they respond to it because there's a big difference between what you feel and how you feel when you're in the middle of a flare up versus when you feel kind of okay it's going to take longer for you to feel it when you're kind of okay it's going to you're going to feel everything all of the time when you're in the middle of a flare up so it's you can pay more attention but it's not always clear. I think that a lot of times they tell people to do food journaling because it is important some people are going to find stuff that's becomes obvious when you pay more attention but other people have delayed reactions and the food journaling really doesn't help as much so it's it's more frustrating than empowering.

These doctors youtubers keep on confusing people. Try an elimination diet, find a food that you like, it does not spike your glucose, and is gut friendly, then add other foods slowly and see how you progress, I know is crazy but for some people extreme diets like raw vegan or carnivore is the only way

  • @margaretjaeger2064

Yes…and a lot more than we all usually do. The point is to eat digestive enzymes in foods or supplements because of what we eat isn’t broken down.,it’s atta med by the body and runs out of us without being broken into so our gut can absorb the nutrients in the foods we are eating.

As someone who's been there, Isaac, I would look at any stress you're dealing with (environmental, physical, mental, etc.) and medications that might be triggering stress in your body. Also, if you haven't already, I would & did add gut beneficial foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha, sheep or goat milk yoghurt, etc. I'm not saying I'm completely psoriasis-free (I do splurge on occasion) but it is drastically diminished. Lastly, you might want to consider getting an allergy test to know for certain what might be a trigger for you.

It's only one possible trigger which might not be an issue for you yourself as everyone's triggers are different. Did you notice it made your psoriasis worse when you started using it? If not then you are fine. Usually that stuff helps heal leaky gut which should help in auto immune conditions like psoriasis.

It's hard to find that 'one food' that's causing the issue, but I suspect mine is gluten. Unfortunately our food is contaminated with so many chemicals, that also makes it hard to pin down the 'problem food'. Good Luck everyone, it's a battle!

I had skin testing which showed allergy to many preservatives and perfumes used in almost all modern soaps lotions, cosmetics, and detergents--even some kitty litters! Allergists were no help at all after the actual skin testing. The third dermatologist I saw (at a teaching hospital) was actually able to give me a list of (mostly) safe products to use. They are more expensive and harder to find. The absence of skin sores, swelling, and other allergic symptoms has been wonderful. It's a crime that so few doctors realize how the population is being poisoned by recently-developed chemicals. So few are able to actually help their suffering patients.

Funny that you seem to be promoting veggis and discourage meat and dairy. What about lectins and salicylates?

I cut the egg yokes and stayed with egg whites and it helped a lot

I've heard that the whites can irritate and the yolks are better

    • @grfnklbe
      @grfnklbe 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The whites are the part that has the protein. So that's why cutting the whites is usually a good idea. The yolks are usually more tolerable since eit doesn't have the protein that triggers the flare.

If I eat fries and coke at macdonalds, after one hour my head starts itching very bad, and if I eat a lot of candy's. Ice cream. I write what I eat every day and take notes what my psoriasis looks

It’s so odd how you cut and zoom in every time you mention “psoriasis”. It makes the video feel less credible.

    • @grfnklbe

It's because he reused the same video where he talks about food triggers for allergies and he just cut and replaced the word allergies with the word psoriasis haha.

I smashed 24-30 raw eggs per day at the height of my worst flare-up. Along with eliminating all processed foods, especially sugar, it cleared up in about 2 months. Just saying.
