I found something crazy!
As you may have seen before the eleiko svr platform is very quiet and I've found the material used in them which rebonded foam. It varies in density but the most dense can go to around 150-200kg/m3. I was wondering if you make a platform using as it would be awesome to see (and would be cheaper than pound pads)
Finding a supplier may be difficult. I also recommend getting tiles at least an inch (or 2.5cm thick). And try to get a thin rubber sheet on top.
I feel it would be good as svr platforms and silencer pads are way too expensive and I believe high density rebonded/ bonded foam really changes the game as it is very cheap but hard to find a supplier.

the most impressive thing about a garage gym is the product it produces. To put it respectfully that's a lot of money to invest into making a couple with the same sized arms as each other .

does any one know if titan attachments for a t3 will fit a rogue r3 looking for a rack for my garage leaning towards he r3 but i do like the t3 especially the lat/row attachment. Great gym btw.

Nice review. If someone was to get started on crossfit in their new garage gym how would they go about learning the exercises?
Find someone who actually knows how to lift properly. CrossFit gets a bad rap and deservedly so for doing dynamic moves like the clean and snatch with horrible technique. Speed over proper technique which is a great way to get hurt. Watch Coop at 4:10. He never actually gets to a correct front rack position. Just muscling the bar around. Try that with more than 60 kg and good luck. Check out someone like Lydia Valentin for example to see proper clean and snatch technique.

Hey Coop. Any thoughts on Rep's zero gap incline bench? Debating if I want to save a bit more for that or just grab the big flat bench with the fat pad and call it a day. And if Rogue has the RM4 Fortis rack in stock I am going to finally buy one and drive to Columbus and pick it up. The advantage of living 2 hours from Rogue HQ is you can pickup and save on shipping for big items. Plus Schmidt's Sausage Haus is so worth the drive on its own.

i would imagine having and maintaining a pool ain't cheap, no matter where you live.
They said somewhere in the midwest where's its relatively dirt cheap to buy a home. I come from San Francisco where you can't even get a 1000sqft condo for less than $700k. Something out there is probably like under the $300s i'm guessing

Just wondering if there is any insert you can put in a pool to swim against the current for endless laps?
There are, I don't know how good they are, but Intex makes a system called the Hydro Flow Swin Trainer that may be worth looking into.
A possible garage/pool gym review for the future?
Not an insert but you can get endless pools. Don't think the system is sold separately though as I don't think it is as simple as plugging it in. You have to have a sort of grill system behind you to circulate the water through the system - if you didn't it would bounce off a normal pool wall back at the swimmer and it would just be a mess. May be wrong there though.
They definitely feel slightly different to ordinary swimming through, bit like how a treadmill is not the same as road running.

Ugly pool, you can't swim in circles or back in forth in straight lines very well. Gym is pretty cool, liked the wall, but needs some mirrors.

Not a fan of most of their equipment choices.
Don’t want to be a dick but how can you work in the fitness industry and or have a home gym and just not look good at all. I get it, performance over aesthetics but come on! Like people who casually work out 3 days a week and have a decent diet look 10 times better

CLEARLY a certain level of respect should be given to this firefighter. And I agree, so far NONE of the "gyms" being shown are owned by anyone that remotely has the appearance of training as is evident in their appearance. If YOU can say that you put your life on the line for others, that you run into burning buildings while everyone is running out, then and only then can you even begin to question his opinion!!!!!

I understand the sentiment, but this is a channel to showcase what people have in their garage gyms. People train for different reasons, and are at different points of their journey. As to the owners looking like they train, they both appear as if they have had a moderate amount of training time based on their physiques and technique. He runs a basement remodeling company and she works for a school system...not exactly the most physically demanding careers when compared to firefighting?
