Shiraz A had a Pathfinder with VG and no major mechanical failure for 250k KM. Had 06 FX35 and no issues for 150k KM. Had a Quest with CVT and dumped that pos in 3 years and never looked back. Nissan that I grew up loving is no more and they are not winning me over anytime soon with CVT.
My brand new 2016 Nissan Altima SR which I paid $28,000 for is pretty disappointing especially since I found a 2016 Audi A3 for the same price. The Audi has a quiet ride, touchscreen infotainment system, leather seats, sunroof, power seats, etc. Guess how many of those features the $28K Altima has? NONE!
I have a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum AWD fully loaded and I paid $40k out the door. This Infinity has the same equipment as the PF but because is an infinity you pay $15k plus just for the badge. And I agree with the CVT reliability, mines had that shudder thing but luckily it was fixed with the new recall. I've had it for 2 years and after 30k miles it has been trouble free.
Fevian Cortes I’m glad you enjoy it, what’s the performance like? Does it feel quick? My mom has a 2009 sienna right now and she wants to change to the Infiniti
Infiniti needs its own version of a GTR, that'd be pretty cool. And they seriously need to update the Q70... actually they should update most of their lineup save for the q50, q60, qx30. They aren't bad cars by all means (they're incredible), but they do need something fresh.
What are you saying? The Acura MDX with SH-AWD will out handle and out accelerate this car any day of the year... In fact is hard to match an MDX in the handling department and 0 to 60 even for the Q7 or X5... In the lower end of the segment the MDX walks all over its competition... Being said that I would lease the Q7 Quattro in a heartbeat.
Comfy and roomy around town. Good on a straight hwy. However a rental scared the bejesus out of me on a long downhill curve at 75mph in AZ interstate. It was frighteningly unsecured feeling. Even at 65 I had to seriously concentrate. Terrible feeling steering at hwy speeds other than straight and flat. This 5k lb ride is for hauling 30lb kids to elementary school. Which is a ridiculous use. Pass on this for something a little more confident.
Forgot to mention no air vents in the 3rd row, only mildly sitting in the 3rd row for leg comfort can't justify comfortably on long hot summer trips. Especially with the panoramic roof.
you fail for not pointing out that while close to the size of a larger SUV, it's GVWR is under the IRS 179 depreciation schedule limit. Making it ... not good for people who are self employed contractor types.
2:07 Maybe do a better job of keeping your eyes on the road? You travel a long way in 5 seconds buddy. Especially with multiple cars in the opposing lane....
I'm a huge Nissan | Infiniti but I'm super surprised on the 2.5L supercharged hybrid 😂😂 did one of the guys over at Mercedes suggest that? Super strange drive train. Also the tech presentation is ugly but the tech itself isn't to bad. Yea the Acura had some ups to this, but as a company in general Infiniti > Acura all damn day📈.
The average consumer benefits from better fuel economy, smoother up-shifting/down-shifting, and in the Infiniti it helps hold the same "gear" when accelerating through a curve in the road. I always hated CVT but it makes sense in the Infiniti vehicles
Nissan is slacking in quality. NONE! The dashboard creaks like it'll fall apart if driven over rough road. My mom's 2014 Kia Sorento has a much better build. NIssan has to get themselves together or they'll lose customers. It's inevitable.
I don't think that the exterior looks bad, but the interior is a joke. The dash sucks and the infotainment desperately needs to be redesigned. The VQ V6 is reliable as hell but Nissan sucks at making CVTs. Don't know if I would take this vehicle. Infiniti and Nissan are struggling sadly. 😢
Of all the choices the QX60 is the ugliest oddly shaped ride of the bunch. The Japanese need to step up their game in the tech department. To be outclassed by Germans in technology just seems wrong. No reason they should not outclass everyone else. I know Infiniti can design sexy cars but this is NOT one of them. Id pass on this with your money.
Aurora Jones Infiniti is such a joke Japanese cars are great... but German cars give that more premium feel. and like you said... BMW is pretty much years ahead of everyone else in every possible way.
Go sit in an X5...cheap interior, rattling plastics, rock hard seats, and cheap hard plastic EVERYWHERE. What am I paying 50k+ for? Horrible reliability?
emotionscomeandgo BMW is years ahead? Lol. Of who exactly. The other German manufacturers have all the same and some better technology. It's the norm for European cars where even the more mass market brands like VW, Peugeot, Citroen and Renault have great technology and quality that make them feel a cut above the rest.
no idea why people are saying this is an ugly car. this looks very sharp and smart. I really like the look. sure the interior infotainment and controls could use an update but other than that, this is a good car.
what are you talking about? Germans have always been a step above the japanese in technology. and germans and japanese dont compete in the same segment since germans focus more on luxury upper end.
I would say the exterior looks nice, but that's where it stops. I had it for a weekend rental about 2 months ago and I felt it was more in the Explorer, Cx9, Durango class not the MDX, Q7, XC90 class. if you want practical go buy an Acura MDX. There's a reason why it's the best-selling three-row luxury SUV of all time
Listen I won't argue with an infinity troll. Acura sold 25% more MDXs than the QX60 and it's because people prefer that car and so do I. And the mdx will continue to outsell the qx60.
SN SE nobody gives a shit about dodge Durango buddy it's just you. Why would anybody want to buy a car that loses 40 percent of its value after 2 years and is less reliable than a fucking potato
This thing really looks like a glorified Nissan Pathfinder, like the older Lexus RX's were glorified Camry's. Sorry but in this Nissan's case, I feel you can't polish a turd - that dated interior!
The only new car that isn’t trying so hard with style 👌🏼
Trust me, at the end of the day, it’s all about how much you feel reliable with your car and that is a Japanese brand.
This cvt pretty good my dad used to hate cvt now he loves it because of this infinity
Question how’s your dad’s cvt still holding up? I’m buying one with 60k miles and I’m afraid lol
Infiniti stepped their game up! This truck looks as nice as the MDX and the RX
Richi Camacho All 3 are crossovers, aka CAR-based SUVs. They are in no way trucks....
yes...i'm a huge acura fan but this one has me curious!
I really want this to be my next car
This truck is so comfortable. And fast.
Not a truck.. Its an overglorified station wagon with gadgets. Zzzzzz
As a former Nissan enthusiast I think Nissan dropped the ball since the mid 2000s. How long will this CVT last?
CVT + 3.5L + Spirited Driving & throw in some mountainous roads = CVT Shudder.
not a single issue from my nissan cvt, i'm over 100k miles
Mark G 100k w/o tranny issue is nothing to boast...or has Nissan's quality deteriorated so bad 100k trouble free is considered an achievement?
Shiraz A had a Pathfinder with VG and no major mechanical failure for 250k KM. Had 06 FX35 and no issues for 150k KM. Had a Quest with CVT and dumped that pos in 3 years and never looked back. Nissan that I grew up loving is no more and they are not winning me over anytime soon with CVT.

2:10 My eyes!! I love your reviews lmao.
I think the new Enclave interior is handsome, can't say that about the old one. This interior is like 10 years old!
Wing Tsui Buick is trash compared to a premium suv
Wing Tsui Enclave lmao how old are you 90?
I have a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum AWD fully loaded and I paid $40k out the door. This Infinity has the same equipment as the PF but because is an infinity you pay $15k plus just for the badge. And I agree with the CVT reliability, mines had that shudder thing but luckily it was fixed with the new recall. I've had it for 2 years and after 30k miles it has been trouble free.
Fevian Cortes ok we get it you can afford to make payments on a 40k car good for you
Fevian Cortes I’m glad you enjoy it, what’s the performance like? Does it feel quick? My mom has a 2009 sienna right now and she wants to change to the Infiniti

Jank Paul the Q60S check it out!
My mom is about to buy this car so excited!!!

The only car acting like lexus and broke like Tahoe
Yeah, whatever (regarding the vehicle) Zach you're still the best at irrelevant reviews of this there's no denying!
love the vertigo shot at the beginning
“I Can sit back here, well i am sitting back here” 💀 I’m buying it just off that now
Smart and great family hauler.
Comfy and roomy around town. Good on a straight hwy. However a rental scared the bejesus out of me on a long downhill curve at 75mph in AZ interstate. It was frighteningly unsecured feeling. Great vehicle.. and a lot of luxury for the money. The updated 2017 engine power which is stronger then MDX at 295 hp pulls good in sport mode .. .
Do you still have this car? How’s it going?
such a beautiful suv would take this over it's competition any day
Forgot to mention no air vents in the 3rd row, only mildly sitting in the 3rd row for leg comfort can't justify comfortably on long hot summer trips. Especially with the panoramic roof.
yes there is- they’re by the cup holders
Now that was an amazing video review
Upgrade the info system like the QX50 and i will buy it.
2:02 Ok... that was fun, I LOL'd
Great video!
Thanks!
I just can't get past the dreaded CVT 😭
ours is pretty good
My mom has this car just black but does anyone else know what the body color option is in settings in the screen
The RX is going to come with a third row next year.
you fail for not pointing out that while close to the size of a larger SUV, it's GVWR is under the IRS 179 depreciation schedule limit. Making it ... not good for people who are self employed contractor types.
how does it compare to the CX-9?
Brenden Pragasam well the new cx-9 just came out a year ago with a full refresh the qx60 just gets a face lift and some additional features
love this guy
Eat your heart out micah lol
Looks good
Nice overall, but that center stack badly needs to be brought into this century.
mike wellington It's not bad
Disney Fan not terrible, but with what it's competing against I think it needs to be better.
That sure is a fancy Pathfind-urr umm, QX60?
Gosh, you're creatively original.
escalades are fancy tahoe’s
😂😂😂
Big improvement in looks over the previous hideously bloated design.
its like buying a nissan, but with a different chunk of metal as the logos
other drivers report transmission issues.
Nissan solved the problems..
I sense like you're driving in Southern California
I didn't think the 17 qx60 had the cvt.... musy have missed something.
It's tough for me to want this car over an MDX
Aron Ma see both in person
2:07 Maybe do a better job of keeping your eyes on the road? You travel a long way in 5 seconds buddy. Especially with multiple cars in the opposing lane....

I think they learnt a few things from Volvo as well. Volvo is notorious for power trains like that.
interior look so dark and ancient in black color interior
cvt sucks. where's the 10 year warranty on new cars for powertrain?
👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍👍
This is such a lease car
Disney Fan how it's a family vehicle can you can use it everyday it's comfortable and very practical and also really reliable
romel 4life It's not reliable and besides every car is a lease car. I don't believe in buying a car anymore
that's sad
ПРИВЕТ ИЗ РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Honestly this car is just like the Nissan Pathfinder. I wouldn't spend the extra money and get a Pathfinder Platinum.
Robert Schneider well the Nissan has nothing but plastic and fake leather inside the infiniti has a well crafted interior and it well put together
romel 4life The Infiniti's upper dashboard is Hard Touch Plastic and for the price there going for no way.
those were the old modles now its soft touch
CVT's need to die. Just give me an automatic
Retweet. Cvt's still don't have the performance nor reliability.
The average consumer benefits from better fuel economy, smoother up-shifting/down-shifting, and in the Infiniti it helps hold the same "gear" when accelerating through a curve in the road. I always hated CVT but it makes sense in the Infiniti vehicles
Lauren Curtiss only this Infiniti model has a CVT. The remainder of the Infiniti lineup has a conventional automatic.
Funny y'all mention lease rates. That's exactly the buyer for a Nissan car.
Nissan is slacking in quality. My brand new 2016 Nissan Altima SR which I paid $28,000 for is pretty disappointing especially since I found a 2016 Audi A3 for the same price. kilojoule11 Audi is terrible tho
Let’s take them both to the mechanics and see.
Kia, I remember our men in viet nam that didn't come home alive. They called them kia. Never would I ever buy a car with the name kia.
No, that is not a legitimate 3rd row, the floor is no where near deep enough. Your legs will hurt in the long term.
The Enthusiast q50s doing good
Interior oa not suited for europe
calling a CVT good is like calling a sliced off arm a "small scratch"
Beautiful vehicle, but they should have kept the rims off the old model. Those are ugly
It looks hella outdated.
sidhu704 it really really does
The pathfinder the new gen is apparently a sack of shit when it comes to reliability so cross this car off you're list

Worst Re Sale value in its class.
Who cares about this suv? The infotainment and interior design is like 12 years old!
jtothada06 well people who has a family and needs something practical it doesn't need to be fast or super handsome it looks amazing in person
I would say the exterior looks nice, but that's where it stops. jtothada06 that was rude af
Lol end my life
3s0añolc
why not just buy a Dodge Durango Citadel
SN SE hahaha Dodge is shit they know nothing about suvs there gas guzzlers and there is plastic everywhere in the interior
SN SE dodge Durango lmaoooooooo
you must be ignorant to the Dodge Durango Citadel then 👍👌
SN SE nobody gives a shit about dodge Durango buddy it's just you. Why would anybody want to buy a car that loses 40 percent of its value after 2 years and is less reliable than a fucking potato

As soon as I saw his face, I stopped the video right away. I already know that it’s a negative review. Am I right?
Interior Quality looks cheap and looks like plastic everywhere
Just of wasted of time and ugly design for this suv who told infinity to come out with a suv they was better off sticking to cars
