Used Infinitis are the used car market's best kept secret. I love that they are so "affordable" second-hand. I've owned 3 so far and they never disappointed me. Great, reliable cars!
I got a 2018 Q60 1 year used for almost half the new price. Best deal ever. Only work I've had to do is oil change and brakes. I'm at 72k miles now and want to get the red sport now that they have dropped to almost half their new price.
Same here… I had a 2011 335i BMW and the maintenance was astronomical !!! I’m getting a used q60 soon to replace it. I’m looking forward to a low maintenance experience.👍🏾
@@northfulton92 Great choice brother, funny story I also had a 335i & spend over 5k on repairs & ended up selling it went back to Infiniti & it was the best decision I’ve ever made I’m done with German care “ Good looks for nothing “ but yeah the Q60 great choice 👍
I’ve had 3 Infinitis…..currently own a 2014 QX70 that I bought brand new. Only 59k miles on it. It’s never been in the repair shop for anything including warranty work. It’s an amazing vehicle that I’ll continue to own. The other two were a FX35 and G35 and both were great vehicles
European models held their value and were very reliable machines - 20 years ago. Now they're junk. My sister-in-law has a Porche Cayenne. ONE of the two batteries died. $3,000 to get it replaced. No thanks. My FIVE Infinitis have never had that much repair cost combined.
@@Agret The Hybrid battery in any Hybrid car is the battery the car's electric motor runs on. I'm not talking about a hybrid. Porsche Cayenne has TWO "regular" batteries - one runs the accessory group like the stereo, windows, alarm etc. The other starts the motor and provides power to the engine and engine accessories. That battery was $3,000 - my infinity has one I just replaced. It was $185.
I would say that Infiniti's depreciation is a gift to me. My 2007 M35 is still going strong after 208k miles. When it's time to get another car, it will be another Infiniti.
I bought a 2006 a couple weeks ago 212k on the dash I know have 213589 on it runs good and shift’s good had to replace a o2 sensor but that’s it just hate u can’t update the indash
Before watching this video i watched numerous others who consistently pointed out the European cars you pointed out to be not only the most unreliable but also the costliest to repair. INFINITI depreciate more because they keep their cars fairly unchanged for many years. Many european brands refresh or redesign their models every few years. Thus keeping the desirability/demand which helps it retain lower depreciation. Unfortunately, this leaves many European cars with unaddressed serious reliability issues due to its shorter refresh cycles.
@@MandusahRamirez I completely agree. The vehicles you mentioned are reliable. That's because they are all body on frame. They have off-road capabilities. So they are built like a tank. These models are an exception. I was referring to the brands as a whole not specific models.
@@MandusahRamirez there are plenty of video stating land rover, mercedes and bmws can be very high maintenance BMW who wants to pay $500 for an oil change. I know people who will never own another bmw or mercedes again, they would rather by Lexus. with that said we live in a materialistic world. Like cell phones if samsung is paying youtubers too trash there competition. Maybe its that simple some companies don't shell out alot of money too youtubers to promote there products. If infiniti is bad why do i see alot of Uber drivers driving older qx60s if they are so problematic. That is the last thing a Uber driver wants is a problematic car.
That's not even close to being true. Infinity depreciates WAY less than any european car. Heck all you need to do is look at the residual values on leases.
I've owned three Infiniti Q50's and numerous "performance" cars in the past. I wouldn't trade my 2021 Q50 RS for ANY of the peer brands you mention. Jaguar? Really? The Q50 is a fantastic blend of performance and ride quality. Infiniti is unfairly a whipping boy by channels like this.
Yeah Jaguar still got that unreliable rep where Infiniti does have a reliable rep. For road-trips I do into Mexico I’m always confident I’m not going to break down there and deal with a mess
Infiniti's can be great values if you get one with low miles. I bought a 2015 Q70L 5.6 V8 with only 5,000 miles in 2016. It was loaded with a MSRP of $74,000 USC. I paid only $38,000!! The interior was gorgeous! Semi-aniline leather with hand crafted Japanese ash wood. The build quality, comfort, and styling were superb, especially for the money! The car provided the same luxury of vehicles costing thousands more! Very reliable! Had NO issues! The drawback was that the tech was a bit dated, especially the dashboard. It still had a dot matrix screen! The LED screen was also small and had poor resolution. The engine, although powerful, was not very smooth. The handling was just OK. It was definitely not worth 74k, but it was a huge bargain at 38k!!!! After 6 yrs, I recently traded it in for a 2019 Porsche Panamera 4s with only 13k miles on it and a 6 yr warranty. MSRP was 140k, I paid 74k. I love the Porsche, but I noticed the build quality was actually better on the Infiniti! They can be great values!. The new QX60 doesn't have a CVT, and the interior is gorgeous. Definitely would get one used with low mileage! Infiniti just needs to continue to update their models!
The new qx60 is okay at first glance but has garbage finish, rattles left and right, power mirrors that creak, exterior and interior trim that literally falls off from the factory and body panels that don't line up. Hardly a $50 plus thousand dollar car.
@@willthecardude6900 I own a '23 QX60 Autograph and none of what you describe is true. I cross shopped against a '24 Lexus RX500h, '24 Mazda CX-90 Turbo S Premium Plus and I ended up picking the QX60. Apparently, you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
@@bassy09 you shall see! lol (re-sale, durability over time or distance or realistic long voyage usage, in the United States, e.g.: it wont beat the Lexus or toyota competition and probably not the mazda either, though not sure on that, depending on which mazda engine (i'd avoid the turbo mazda engine)
@@bassy09 qx60 is one of the best looking suv in the category , how is the handling 2023 model , last generation was way too soft , it fits family needs really well
I call BS! I’ve owned several Lexus and Infiniti models. Neither is ever in the shop! And the Infiniti coupes definitely hold their value and are hard to find at a reasonable price. While Jaguar, Audi, and Mercedes are extremely expensive to maintain, Infiniti’s being basically glorified Nissans don’t break the bank.
I’ve owned 2 infinite both were trash both had electric issues even the dealer couldn’t fix. Granted it was an I30 and a g20 so I’ve just aged myself but the post is the cars had the same issues. Now maybe now they’re nice but I had a 98g20 and an 06I30 and they were trash.
ALL of those German cars re more reliable than Infiniti. Just do a Stract search for "infiniti cvt reliability" and find out how Infiniti sold a bunch of piles of trash KNOWING they would turn into nothing more than attractive boat anchors when the CVT blew up.
The Nissan/Infiniti CVT is the worst transmission ever made. It might fail at 10K miles or 100K miles but you can bet one thing: it WILL fail... and you won't find anyone who can repair it.
I'm not sure what you're talking about..🤔 On my third QX60. Never, ever had a problem! My last one is the Autograph series with all the bells and whistles. Absolutely beautiful!!
@@BiancaW-sv8ptif you didn’t get one yet don’t pls I had one recently on a lease and it was the worst car I could get in that price range constantly some lights on the dash and the transmission is starting to go at 40k km just don’t get one also if you still feel like getting a new one to buy out never sell it because you will lose all your money depreciation is terrible
My first Infiniti was a 2006 M35X. Consumers Report voted the 2006 and 2007 the #1 mid-sized luxury vehicle in the country. I drove that for 250,000 miles. I never had an issue with it and it was a work of art inside with cut and finish unequal/superior to the European brands at that time. My 2nd Infiniti was a used 2006 M35X and I have now driven that for over 150,000 miles and it runs and looks fantastic!
You and me too. 1st was a 2006 M35, then a M45 then a G35 started wanting something lighter and now own a Q50. Infinitis are built to last. This guy been smoking that good stuff 😂. 4 Infinitis over 20 years and all I've replaced is an O2 sensor and regular maintenance. I wont buy anything else. Every car driven to 250k I might add except my Q. Im hitting 85k
@@ECPP They used to be about speed, the Infiniti SUVs are lagging behind. Genesis outsold them. The problem is that Nissan charges premium money for the badge, even when materials and tech is shared with Nissan products. The Armada and theQX80 are prime examples.
I got a Q70. Love it. Great V6 engine. 20 inch wheels. Seat warming and cooling. No CVT. All the premium options. It was listed at around 60k new. I bought it 3 years old for 33. It's affordable luxury. I've had zero issues with it. I like the European cars. I just don't want the expense of owning one.
I would call this video an unfair hit job. While it's absolutely true they lose value faster than other Japanese cars, their reliability is mostly great. I can't speak for the newer ones with CVTs turbo but the older ones are absolutely a steal for price/quality.
That VQ engine is as bullet proof as anything out there. One of the best V6's ever built. Infiniti nailed with it the G's. Idk what happened with the Q's. Hes right though. Once Nissan teamed up with Renault their reliability went downhill since.
@@Drip2SG Any of them be should good by now. They should have all the initial kinks worked out by now and if they were taken care of they should be fine. They all got the VQ engine. Check the car fax. Check records and everything. I think 2011 and up are the best from my initial research. I have a 13 ‘ X sedan. Had it for over 2 years now. Had over 100k miles when I bought it. My daily. Only things I had to replace are serpentine belt, Hydraulic steering rack (covered under extended warranty) and tires. You get one too old you probably won’t have Bluetooth. You should be fine with the one you looking at. Have a certified mechanic look at it before you buy.
@@Drip2SG Now the early Q50s/Q40s 2014-15 model have the same VQ engine. The early Q60s pre 2017 which is a basically a rebadged g coupe have the 3.7 as well. from They replaced the VQ 3.7 in 2016 with the VR 3.0T for the Q50 and the following year for the Q60 plus the new body style . If I’m not mistaken. I might be off a year.
Do you realize most Infiniti's are not CVT transmissions. They are rear wheel 1st and some real wheel biased AWD performance cars and SUV's. Definitely affordable used luxury if you're not trying to spend over 80k
I got a 2009 Infiniti FX35 in 2021 after my last car broke down. I purchased it because I was looking for a RELIABLE used luxury vehicle with AWD, that wouldn't break the bank. Through my research, i found that Infiniti's, especially ones with VQ's+7 speeds are actually pretty reliable, and i could get one for 14k fully loaded with low miles! I have never owned one, have also been very anti Nissan due to the CVT. This was definitely a jump for me coming from Toyotas. It's been extremely reliable, no issues in the last couple years. Regular routine maintenance. It looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, drives extremely well (feels like a sports sedan even though it's an SUV), has great standard features, it's comfy. Honestly, love it more than i expected to, I've never loved a car like this one! I really wanted to get another Lexus, they're just so expensive used. My husband's car is a 2009 RX350, it cost us a couple grand more than the Infiniti. The Infiniti is the value leader for us. Extremely surprised at the reliability of this powertrain in the sea of Nissan CVT's. The only thing i hate about the car, i probably will never have the chance to own another Infiniti. The new ones aren't like the old ones, Infiniti is a shell of what it once was. It is definitely an extremely memorable car. If you're in the market for one, do it while they're still low mileage! It'll only be so long until they're all used up.
Great feedback from owner. I see many fx35s they all back to 08,09 era... wow still running. Own qx70 16 acter selling lexus 2021 GX460 and owned lexus nx300 2018 earlier . I love my qx70, dirving a sport sedan. Power and luxury both.
I have german cars , I just fed up with today this sensor tomorrow another sensor , I got secared to do long trip , then I got my self qx70 , it drives so well handles so well , it drives like old BMW but reliable . Suspension is stiff but I like it , after 70000miles I bought it with 55000miles , still drives like new , it shocked me really , I am looking for a q70 5.6 right now , there are only two 5.6 on the market , it has hydrolica electronic steering . Love build quality of Infiniti . Qx70( fx) q70 are only two Infiniti model I love , I will keep them for a long time , newer models don’t fit my taste , way too soft and 2.0t , with turbo it can be quicker but doesn’t feel the same
Yep, I have many friends who have probably spent $50k - $100k more than me over the past 10 years for German transportation buying/selling/repairing and I just keep enjoying hassle free, reliable luxury in my M37. Much happier that way. If you need to try and project a certain image go buy German but if you’re secure enough not to care get an Infiniti.
A few months back I test drove several car brands. I had no preference and was simply curious to see what I'd like best. Nissan, BMW, Audi, Mazda and Infiniti. Pleasantly surprised, I bought the 2020 Infiniti Q60.
A used Infiniti looks more desirable than the German cars due to better reliability. However, I’d still go with Lexus when it comes to overall reliability and desirability.
Lots of happy Infiniti owners defending Infiniti! I bought my 2013 M37XS with 107K right before the pandemic for 13K. Bottom line is dependability. I did have a run of repairs but got thru it and now with 230K still runs very smoothly. Brakes wear down pretty fast and wish I could get more than 40K from my tires but that's part of the deal. I've had mostly a good experience with my Infiniti and ready for my next Infiniti knowing they can perform and last well over 200K and that's in Minnesota's brutal winters including terrible roads that ruin your suspension!
Love my 2013 FX 37. Bought it 3 years ago and had to replace the battery thats it. Ive got lots of positive comments on the body style. It is a beautiful car.
I have my reservations about this video. My 2010 G37S Convertible with 86K miles has been an amazing car. The VQ Motor is strong and reliable and looks and sounds amazing.
I have a 2014 Q50S Hybrid. 125k miles. Only changed tires, brakes and the 12v car battery. Never had any issues and bought it used for under $20k in 2018.
@@pargolf3158well one can argue but what is “best” but since the dullard thought nobody would say that of the EXTEMELY respected VQ series - among enthusiasts and in the industry - you know you’re talking to some dense kid who doesn’t actually know much about cars 😂😂.
I have a 2012 330hp Infiniti G37x 115k miles and never been in the shop! They are most reliable. Everyone knows Benz, BMW and Audi live in the shop! Stop dissing Infiniti! Best car I ever had hands down!
Facts bro I have a 08 g37 since I hade since high school I have 238k miles on it now still running strong the only thing I had to get was oil changes and brakes and rotors
0:51 You put a smile on my face. I got that XF 2011 for more than 11 years now, well maintained, it still rides like a beast. Just passed the 123456miles, I was so happy about that. Anyway, thank you!!
Just bought my first Infiniti! I can see that they were a whole lot less than the competitor. But worth the price, 3 years old mine is, and almost half off new price. QX60
thats not true infinity qx70 or Fx37 is amazingly relaible . not like any junk german cars if ure considering buying used market . and maintain it is so cheap as well
This video didn't age well. I bought my 2016/2017 QX50 in 2019 now 2024. It has 125,000 kms. I only have had regular scheduled maintenance. This model is the best considering the stupidity of EV and prohibitive costs of fixing any BMW costs. Do your research ..
My 2018 Q60 3.0t has been very reliable. I do my own fluid and air filter changes. It is more comfortable than my prior M car on long drives. I'm at 75k. So far, so good🤞
I don't think he really knows Infiniti. I had a m37x that was pure heaven to drive. I now have 2 FX35 awd's. These cars will not be in the shop like those other luxury brands and if they do the parts and labor will not kill you.
I’ve now owned a used Q50 for over 2 years. Provided with general maintenance. This has been a rock solid car. Super fun, comfortable for long road trips, smooth. Drives over hills with confidence and turns can get comfortable once you get used to its light steering. Solid ass car
50% inaccurate. You googled this for too long. Talk to Infiniti owners next time. CVT’s is the only thing I could agree with this video. I’ve had 4 BMW’s and I kept telling myself the next one will be better for the last 3 BMW’s I had and they sucked. Yes, they were the ultimate driving machine for the first 30K miles then they start to have major issues. I drove the loaners from the service department more than my own BMW. Funniest thing about it is that I dropped them off at the dealer for service and my wife always picked me up on her 2003 Lexus which we still have and over 220K miles with just fluids and tire changes oh and 1 battery from Lexus. Now we’ve had a 2020 Infiniti QX80 with over 75K miles with absolutely nothing wrong with it and been towing a 6,100 LBS trailer with it like a champ up and down hills. BMW’s and Mercedes for me are now a thing of the past. Lexus and Infiniti will take my money always when buying new vehicles.
The reality is that they are much cheaper than other used cars. You can clearly see this. This video was to explain why they are cheaper.. not that they are inferior vehicles. A lot of people are coming to post positive experiences with Infiniti, which may present a value opportunity if you take the risk. I think you get more car for the money when buying a used Infiniti but no cars are without their problems.
Well said and right on point. Simple as that. Would I buy a new Infiniti. Shit no. 60k for l RS Q50 or 60 but with just with 20-30k miles, that 60 becomes 40k and that my friend is a damn good deal. Every single car has different issues he is just pointing out Infinitis. Nothing wrong shit in my eyes 👀 this was a positive video for Infiniti. Promoting Infiniti as the cheapest luxury sport vehicle is a win for the Infiniti community. Squad up 💪🏾
I purchased a 2003 G35 Coupe automatic, with 58,000 miles 7yrs ago, and its still running strong with routine maintenance...it also out handled, and out performed it's rivals at a much more reasonable price point, and still does! I was so enamored by it, I just recently purchased an off lease Q60 Red Sport AWD Coupe, (without D.A S.), with 15,000 miles, for a Great Price, with full Factory Extended Warranty and all... it looks Stunning in Irridum Blue with White leather! The Infotainment System is not up to the competition, which can easily be rectified with an aftermarket unit, but everything else is pure understated luxury/sport, that rivals the best of them...especially when considering the unreliability & exorbitantly priced maintenance issues of the Germans! Thanks, but no thanks! I'll stick with my Infinitis...
If there are no Infiniti dealers nearby, perhaps a person can take his or her car to a Nissan dealer. I say this for a reason. I heard a person who owns a Lexus took the car to a Toyota dealer for service.
That’s unpredictable. In my state (Oregon) there’s only one Infiniti dealer and they are an hour away. When I bought my used Q70 and needed another key programmed, only one of the 3 Nissan dealers closer to me would do it.
My 2010 FX 35 is loaded... Tech package, heated and ventilated seats, all around camera, and great performance and reliability. I can't speak to the newer models but the pre CVT models are generally great with strong performance. The newer models do not inspire me. I believe they took a step back. I don't know why Infiniti went with the CVT transmissions and dumped the FX35/QX70.
I tested 4 brands at the same price range for my 2022 Q50. Lexus, Genesis, Kia (stinger) and Acura at around 43k were the cars I test drove. None of them had the same performance at this price range (their higher models were great but cost more in performance). Also, the Q50 looked the best compared to them all (Acura was a tie). The 16 speaker Bose unit is amazing too. I also like how I have two screens to display nav and music on the bottom. Regardless of resale, the Q50 is amazing car.
Q50 s has adaptive damper drives well in corner , not as well as Acura sh-handling , but has a premium feel in it , Honda suspension is just dry cheap stiffness , I have 2019 mdx aspec .
Most of those car brands values drop like rocks. My last 2 cars were BMWs and i was afraid to long drive them. Yes my 2016 Q50s with a normal transmission wouldnt keep up with my old 13 335xi but it always runs and drives. The real reason i feel Infiniti lags is the tech.
I would definitely choose Infiniti over any European car, I recently bought 2014 q50s six month owning it and zero trouble from day 1, 3.7 v6 AWD absolutely amazing, and what is even more better is that it has all the technology available in a 2023 car.
Infiniti q50s has 3.7 v6 , which is an actual Japanese old school engine, it’s been on the G sedan and coupe long enough to proof it’s reliability, parts are cheap and easy to find, you can fix the car at your home. As for why it’s cheap because it is overpriced as a Brand new and the depreciation value on the new one is unbelievable and buying it as new is a very bad decision, btw same thing applies to Acura.
Bought a 2012 g37 with 87k miles for about 10k 3 years ago and this year I bought a 2004 g35 coupe with 155k miles for 4k. I have only driven infinitis my whole life these cars are easy to fix , fun as hell to drive and pretty cheap now people really hate on the brand just because
I had a conversation with my mechanic about nissans and hes always stated that "if you get one without a CVT then they're fine. So thats basically a manual trans or many infiniti models IMO. Evwn though its not an Infiniti i took this advice to heart and bought a 2013 nissan sentra with an M6. Best sedan I've ever had. Only had to change the clutch, oil and there was a small issue with the leaky taillights. Got the car with 93k and I'm currently at 179k. Also where i live at in north florida people seem to love Infiniti cars and SUVs.
I purchased my 2011 Infiniti EX 35 used 6 years ago. It has been the best car I have owned and still drives like a dream. Although I respect "your" opinion, I'm glad I didn't see your posting prior to my purchase. Most people will not note that you are speaking of newer models. I LOVE my Infinity.
I’ve owned 4 j30’s, 2 q45’s, a g35 and currently an M56. They are great cars with good reliability. Resale value doesn’t mean anything and comparing it to higher brands is irrelevant. Here in the America, used infiniti market is excellent. Dealers are selling them like candy bars.
The J30 never got the respect it deserved. It was an elangant beautiful car. The Q45 was an exceptional value especially on the used market for its luxury + performance. The G35 was the entry level BMW competitor and it did well against them with less cost and less repairs. I dont have experience with the M56 but it looks impressive.
don't buy cars based on pther people, thats how you miss out on having something rare being common and predictable, dealers use that benz, bmw mindset to their advantage
I currently have qx60 and Nissan Altima. Running for last 4 years. No issue. I bought around 40K and will sell around 100K mile. depreciation of Infinity is a gift !
I have a 2013 FX37 that I bought in 2018. It had 58,000 on the odometer I just got a new battery and tuneup last week, that all I've ever done to it. I still get compliments on it. I really don't think I needed the tuneup because it ran smoother before so that's something I need to look into but very reliable vehicle in all seasons
I dont know what you are talking about 😊 I love my infiniti fx35. The most reliable car ever owned. I have had this car for 5 years and the only thing I had to do was clean the fuel sensor twice and once Air mass sensor. Thats all. While friend's of mine BMW broke down like 4 times already so badly that car had to be towed to the mechanic. Plus infiniti makes very luxurious interior so so comfy. I am loving it ❤
Thanks for the vid. I was wondering why did I see very good condition early 2000s g35’s for $2300-$3500. Didn’t make sense why a big luxury sedan in 8/10 condition was so inexpensive
How reliable is a 2021 Q50 AWD either SUV or sedan? All of the info on common problems that I find has to do with older models unless it's a recall which in that case it's a free fix.
I love my Q50 RS. I like it being rare to have one. I have now started to see more of them now. Darn😔 It is a BEAST stock! It kicks a$$. I did with all those brands you named too. You can do easy mods to it making it a SUPER Beast!!
I had a Mercedes GLA and I loved it.. but lost it after I lost my job.. now that I’m back on my feet I just want to know if a infinity is worth it over getting another GLA. Which one is the more affordable to maintain is my questions.
While I will agree on innovation getting to production, they always seem to produce beautiful prototypes for the car shows. In reality, I’ve own 3-Nissan maximas an only switched to the Infiniti G37 because Nissan would never produce the maxima in a rear-wheel drive version. Now, with the G37, I have experienced the best reliability of all the cars I’ve own, as I’ve just recorded the 200,000th mile this month. As long as what your driving doesn’t include the “cvt trans” your good. Every brand has some issues….especially jaguar and bmw…too many to name😅
I agree with you I like Maximas a lot but considering how much they've increased the prices on a Maxima but refusing to give it rwd option it makes more sense to buy a Infiniti instead
@@alexisdior5474 stereotypically yes but I had a maxima paired with the vq35 and i never had ANY issues with it up to 110,00 miles before someone t boned me and I drove her hard launched it every stop sign, brake boosted everything, it seems like cvt from Nissan paired with a more powerful engine is ok but then again stereotypes do stem from some truth lol
Hello guys. I´m interested in the Q50 hybrid version . Engine is quite durable ( due to my research , the 3.5 l engine is reliable, when maintained and warm driving. ) .. what abou the 7 speed?? Heard about problems with the valve body of 7 speed transmission, correct? Any other tips /important points to check out?
Dont know if you actually "owned" an Infiniti but my g37 and later on q50 never stepped into a repair shop. Im ashamed to say i didnt keep up with oil changes like i should... But long story short, I abused the hell out of them with acceleration etc and the cars just kept up and never missed a beat. Actually going Japanese versus American i dont remember going to a mechanic since having Nissan/Infiniti.
I am planning to buy 2014 infinity Qx60, 145000 KMs. By look and space inside, I like it, hope not to experience any transmission or engine issues.. Any advice here please ?
I got a great deal on a used 2016 Q70 still in warranty a few years ago. Except at 65K miles I’ve had two expensive repairs- leaking sunroof and new control arms. But it drives nice and is comfy and I like the looks, and the fact that Infiniti is slow to update the styling helps keep me from getting the itch to replace it. I guess the main thing I like about having an Infiniti is that I don’t see tons of them on the road here in Oregon (there’s only one dealer in the state).
I have a qx70 5.0 , it has 70000 miles already , it’s solid as hell , not even a noise suspension chasis interior , it triggers me to get a q70 . 2016 q70 5.6 , 23000usd , 18000miles , interior is like new but exterior I really bad scratches everywhere ( black exterior ) , I think I will put black wrap on it .
I think that most people who have owned these cars would agree these cars are an excellent value. They may not be as fancy as the BMW, Audi, and MB but they are a fraction of the price and much more reliable. Everyone I have ever talked to about their BMW and Audi cars have told me they are nice cars to drive but are high maintenance and better leased because they are under warranty. I bought my first Infiniti 6 years ago when I was looking for an AWD car because I was commuting in northern MN a fair distance multiple times a week. I found a 2010 M35x with 74K and decided to try it. My plan was to keep it for 2 years and dump it. I ended up keeping it for almost 6 and ran the car from 74k to 149k. It was still running well but I decided to upgrade to a 2015 Q70 because I found one with low mileage car that I could not pass up. The M35x made a believer out of me and the main reason I upgraded to the Q70.
Infiniti’s best cars will always be the G35, G37, Q50 & Q60. The VQ37 VHR motor is such a reliable motor, its not the fastest but for a NA V6 its quick & can surprise many cars on the road if you tune it. If you do want to be fast in a infiniti, buy the Q50/Q60 with the VR30 motor as they are known to hit 500HP or more with a few mods & a tune but you are sacrificing reliability. Either way, the G’s & Q’s are some of the best budget cars you can get for the price. Obviously for a while now Infiniti is getting outclassed by other brands by a lot but if you are looking for something under 20K, a G37 or Q50 is one of the best options you can choose from.
Spot on mate! VQ37 all the way! And a thing which applyes also here in Europe- you can convert it to LPG with nop issues for a cheap, as the cost of fuel is 1/3 of the gasoline!

I bought a new 2013 Infiniti EX37 for my wife. It has a 325hp V6, 7 speed auto and rear wheel drive. It is the smallest suv crossover and is a hot rod. My wife has only put 60,000 miles on it so far as of Dec 2024 and it has had ZERO repairs. She loves it and says she will never get rid of it. I have changed the oil every 6 months so most of the time it has less than 3k miles on the oil when changed. One set of tires, 3 batteries, and rear brake pads plus the normal maintenance are it.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about the notorious high press fuel pump& timing chain issue that plagues tons on qx56 & qx80. This issue often results in needing a brand new engine costing upwards of 25k. And this is even after the timing chain was repaired under the recall! The same issue reoccurs.
Curious what you think of the Q50 hybrid? Seems like a good value for a lot of power, but a replacement battery even 3rd party could run $5000. Not sure if the CVT is as bad as the ones in the altima/etc.
INFINITI has marginal reliability? Any INFINITI without the CVT is some of the most reliable vehicles. I have an FX37 and can almost guarantee it will make it to 300k and it currently has 139k on it.
Yup 👍🏾 my 2016 Porsche Cayenne was recently totaled and although l loved it it’s the smallest SUV l ever owned and the maintenance was expensive. There is nothing that handled better than the Porsche. I was considering a 2020 BMW X7 but l see ALOT of used 2020 Infinity QX80s for $12-$15k cheaper with leather seats, Captain chairs and they flip down if l need to haul things. Also the trunk is bigger and wider. They also have a theatre system in the back headrest , etc. l don’t need all the bells and whistles. The only issue is that it’s a gas guzzler and l travel between 2 states weekly. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I have a buddy who owned the Nissan Armada essentially the same vehicle and he really Love it however it did sustain an engine failure. They are hit and miss but the space as amazing
Infinity or Lexus will last easily 200k at least. The CVT will fail at about 80k to 120K miles and the cost to replace it is approximate $3,500-$5,000 and will last another 100Kmiles.
Got an Infiniti M35H new in 2012. Put 98,977 miles on it thus far (go to college in ME and live in CT so a TON of driving back and forth). The gas milage isnt the best anymore. However, I can still smoke some of my friends off the line, and also pop it into electric mode when I need to stay quiet and also save on gas. Never had any issues at all thus far, just spent some money on preventative mantainence the routine stuff. I have NEVER seen another Infiniti m35h in my life IRL. (excluding the internet). I have only seen Q models, and rarely M37x's. Its like I have a secret rare car or something because nobody knows it exists.
That’s not true. It’s usually the other way around. Look at the Land Rover Defender, Toyota 4-Runner, Mercedes G Wagon & Jeep Wrangler.
@@MandusahRamirez I completely agree. The vehicles you mentioned are reliable. That's because they are all body on frame. They have off-road capabilities. So they are built like a tank. These models are an exception. I was referring to the brands as a whole not specific models.

I've owned three Infiniti Q50's and numerous "performance" cars in the past. I wouldn't trade my 2021 Q50 RS for ANY of the peer brands you mention. Jaguar? Really? The Q50 is a fantastic blend of performance and ride quality.

Hi, @MEXICANCAT23, your reply exposes what you don't know.

Squad up 💪🏾
@@maxdeez35boysmy 02 civic had a recall because the airbags shot metal shards at people. That’s a serious problem😂
If you really think an Audi has a clean nice 1/1 interior… I feel bad for you…
It’s literally the same interior as a vw
Thanks so much for sharing
I got a 2004 g35 with 102,000 and still beating vtecs 😂. No oil leaks just basically normal maintenance.
Overall would it still be good to buy a 2014 q50? It has a clean title, 72k miles, good fuel economy, and costs $8000
Fuck yeah ❤
Cause sales of the QX70 started to lag sadly
I tested 4 brands at the same price range for my 2022 Q50. Lexus, Genesis, Kia (stinger) and Acura at around 43k were the cars I test drove. None of them had the same performance at this price range (their higher models were great but cost more in performance). Also, the Q50 looked the best compared to them all (Acura was a tie). The 16 speaker Bose unit is amazing too. I also like how I have two screens to display nav and music on the bottom. Regardless of resale, the Q50 is amazing car.
I agree also I’m gay
@@areufkingkiddingmecongrats!
@alexanderkennedy2969 almost ....
The Acura tlx flagship is nice but only 355hp. Q50 w downpipes ic upgrade and tune is a 550 hp beast all day long w VQ reliability!
Cheers
I enjoy my G37x, has been reliable with no major repairs, hugs corners and has balls
Nice
I would definitely choose Infiniti over any European car, I recently bought 2014 q50s six month owning it and zero trouble from day 1, 3.7 v6 AWD absolutely amazing, and what is even more better is that it has all the technology available in a 2023 car.
Why?
Infiniti q50s has 3.7 v6 , which is an actual Japanese old school engine, it’s been on the G sedan and coupe long enough to proof it’s reliability, parts are cheap and easy to find, you can fix the car at your home. As for why it’s cheap because it is overpriced as a Brand new and the depreciation value on the new one is unbelievable and buying it as new is a very bad decision, btw same thing applies to Acura.
@@Aloosh-gt4oi That is TRUE !
Especially with the Q50 3.7 AWD you get a LOT of a great car for the money ! Period!
That's a great powertrain. No CVT and no turbo. Tremendous value overall. You're getting alot of car, power and good reliability. That's a good buy.
Bought a 2012 g37 with 87k miles for about 10k 3 years ago and this year I bought a 2004 g35 coupe with 155k miles for 4k. I have only driven infinitis my whole life these cars are easy to fix , fun as hell to drive and pretty cheap now people really hate on the brand just because
Sweet
The only cars out of infiniti I wouldn't buy are any that use cvt trans.
Next please make a video about the substance that you smoked before recording this video. Would be much better appreciated!
I own a 2015 qx60 with 232k miles, even with lacking of proper maintenance the car kept pushing and still rocking 💪🏼
Are you still on the original transmission?
You think I can buy a q50 with 198k miles for about 8,700?
There are so many videos that say dont buy high milage Audis, mercedes, or BMW’s and I have had my infiniti for 3+years with not a single issue
That’s many luxury brands too
I have a 2013 FX37 that I bought in 2018. It had 58,000 on the odometer I just got a new battery and tuneup last week, that all I've ever done to it. I still get compliments on it. I really don't think I needed the tuneup because it ran smoother before so that's something I need to look into but very reliable vehicle in all seasons
Go find yourself a fx50 instead of tuning it , Infiniti NA is very difficult to tune ,
I dont know what you are talking about 😊 I love my infiniti fx35. I am loving it ❤
The FX is a gem that many ppl don’t know about. So are the old G35’s and G37’s
Yes 2008 g35 sport here. 200k miles going strong. Why didn’t they just keep the naturally aspirated v6!?!?! Great engine
Thanks for the vid. I was wondering why did I see very good condition early 2000s g35’s for $2300-$3500. Didn’t make sense why a big luxury sedan in 8/10 condition was so inexpensive
Not popular around here
I love Infiniti, I could care less about what your saying.
😂😂😂 leave that man alone he's just doing his job!
Same exact thing for me I had a 2012 maxima one of my favorite cars ever but somebody dumbass t boned me I’m driving a g37 manual and I’m in love
So CVT are bad? I like the QX55 are you telling me to run lol🤣
Sorry about your maximum I had a 2012 too that I love. No I have a Camry SE but want the QX55 so now I got some thinking to do
Nice
That’s true there are not a ton of them around making it a bit more interestibg
CVT has killed Nissan
I own a 2.0t Q50 2015 model. It is an amazing car, fuel economy is good as well as its fast too.
Cheers
Spot on mate!
VQ37 all the way!
And a thing which applyes also here in Europe- you can convert it to LPG with nop issues for a cheap, as the cost of fuel is 1/3 of the gasoline!
This is my second infinity ..and yeah no Problems ... hey have you never own even one....I wonder that's how most people on here knows.🤔
You forgot to add the FX, and the M's
I appreciate this video for keeping the prices down on infinitis so I can buy more lol keep it up 👌🏾
Better for me, got my q60 for 27k, amazing looking car, and can be tuned to 741whp with fbo vrx70 turbos and e43 on stock internals.
What’s your Perspective on the Infiniti Q-50
The cars covered in snow makes this video so weird lol like this guy snuck onto a car lot during a snow emergency
lol… I’m pretty sure I live in the same city as this guy as I recognize some of the dealer lots in scenes… he basically is sneaking around in lots in an industrial area ok the outskirts of the city with a bunch of dealerships.
Sounds like a great car!
My Infiniti has 320k on it still runs like a champ
I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about the notorious high press fuel pump& timing chain issue that plagues tons on qx56 & qx80. This issue often results in needing a brand new engine costing upwards of 25k. And this is even after the timing chain was repaired under the recall! The same issue reoccurs.
I have a 2010 G37 sport and it still runs great!
Nice
Curious what you think of the Q50 hybrid? Seems like a good value for a lot of power, but a replacement battery even 3rd party could run $5000. Not sure if the CVT is as bad as the ones in the altima/etc.
INFINITI has marginal reliability? Any INFINITI without the CVT is some of the most reliable vehicles. I have an FX37 and can almost guarantee it will make it to 300k and it currently has 139k on it.
My 2007 fx 35 still running great and all the techs still excellent. I love infiniti
Good to hear
I have a buddy who owned the Nissan Armada essentially the same vehicle and he really
Love it however it did sustain an engine failure. They are hit and miss but the space as amazing
Infinity or Lexus will last easily 200k at least. The CVT will fail at about 80k to 120K miles and the cost to replace it is approximate $3,500-$5,000 and will last another 100Kmiles.
Always buy a RWD infinite for less headache with the transmission
I was getting an oil change the mechanic said he had never seen an Infiniti hybrid car from that era lol.
I own one 2018 infinity and love it have no big problem . Infinity really underrated brand also I hope more infinity content soon 👌
Thanks for sharing, and yes there are many happy owners
My 2014 Q50 hybrid has been amazing!! It's been the most reliable car ive ever had by far and I've had it now for 5 years and it's got 120k miles on it. Put literally zero dollars into it besides general maintaining.
The way you hear people talk you would think that infiniti is the only car brand that makes c v t transmissions
