    Very good video IMO. K doesn't use an impact wrench to break the calipers loose at first, uses a torque wrench as well as anti-seize, and double-checks everything afterwards.
    I saw another comment about replacing the rotors, particularly these cross-drilled rotors, and there's a few comments I have about that:
    - It's not easy to find a shop that turns rotors anymore let alone knowing how to turn cross-drilled rotors unless you want to be without your vehicle for a few days.
    - The interior side of this rotor was ground into fairly bad.
    - Buying new cross drilled rotors is generally the smarter option as opposed to being unsure about a Mechanic's ability to turn a rotor.
    Most of us are watching this video to do it ourselves , save a few bucks, and do it right. Taking a MB to the dealership or a mechanic is a luxury for some whereas we're here to make sure that we mechanically inclined people don't miss anything.
    Thanks K!

    What model allows you to install only one pad into the caliper and then putting the caliper onto the rotor?? BTW, those two caliper slider bolts are supposed to be tightened to only 18 foot pounds.

    Hello my dear friend, I have a Mercedes W211 E350 model 2006. Is it possible to change the brakes without programming a computer? I am honored by you. We follow you from Benghazi, Libya

    • @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair
      @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ابوز يوسف what do you mean by programming the computer? I believe there isn't a computer reset procedure after you replace the front pads! besides erasing the brake wear message on the dash, and that might even go off by itself after you replace the sensors
