When you get the parts out, wash them in water, blow dry and soak in WD-40, as quickly as possible, to prevent yellow flash rusting. Any remaining rust was probably soaked with oil - if you degrease first, wash and then use vinegar, you typically get better results.

anyone tried including magnets in anti-rust chelating solutions?
I know rust (iron oxide) won't stick to magnets, but does the chelation process convert the rust to something that will?

Great video. I have been wanting to buy a cleaner like this. Did you do any research before you bought this brand? I do not want to buy a piece of junk. Thanks

Yes I did. A lot more good is said about their products than bad by a large percent and I've had no issues with mine to date.

those dont vibrate to clean stuff. they produce cavitation from the ultrasonic waves

Yes, your absolutely right! I kept saying "vibratory cleaner" during the video. I Didn't realize it until I edited it.

Hello Larry, I am waiting for my 30L ultrasonic cleaner to come and looking for something to use to remove rust from old tools.
Have you tried 1 cup of white vinegar
    1 tablespoon of salt
    1 tablespoon of baking soda
    1 cup of warm water
I do not want to use muriatic acid, as I have bad lungs.

%20 or 30% vinegar from walmart will work too.
