    Pro tip:
    Distilled water
    98% of the time you won’t be dropping big parts in, and won’t want to waste ultrasonic cleaner concentrate so get a bunch of peanut better jars, and plastic tubs that you can filled with concentrate and your parts.
    Leaves the unit with clean distilled water in place, your parts cleaned in your tubs, and a much smaller clean up.

    About 35 years ago or so we got a K&L ultrasound cleaner. It was about your size, probably 25 L. It cost, about $2000.00 at dealer price. We made arrangements to pick it up at the Dealernews News expo which was in Cincinnati at that time I believe. We hauled that and a couple of other things out of the show. That was a workout! I would be curious to know how many transducers are in yours. The one we got has four. We had to get one replaced maybe 10 years ago. There is no heater, but we just put one of those immersion heating coils in the solution when we need to use it. The cooling fan also eventually quit, but we easily fixed that. It does a great job!

    Thanks for the video. Very nice unit. I usually run my faucet water until it's hot and fill a bucket to transfer to my ultrasonic cleaner. It certainly gives you a jump start on the heating process. I would like to see you try the Simple Green Pro against your current cleaner.

    Here's a pro tip. Don't put the carbs onto the bottom of the bath / cage. Use wire and suspend the carbs in the water / cleanser. Suspension is the best way for ultra sonic cleaners.

    • @theodoremarakas9899
      @theodoremarakas9899 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Correct. Never rest items on the ultrasonic floor. Always suspend items for proper cleaning and no damage. They make baskets and hangers for that reason

    Pinesol works very well without the risk of etching the aluminum.

    A good thing to do is take a syringe filled with solution and push through each orfice tube and all holes bc it doesn't always get into those small holes and ultrasonic cleaners need the solution to be in the holes in order to work. Then you use syringe again in clean water bucket to push out all going both ways or with carb cleaner and spraying out with air both ways to make sure cleaned. But yes dipping twice will help but it's also good to agitate it to before you use syringe method. And the only thing with that cleaner that I see is that the basket touches the bottom. Messes up ultrasonic frequency.

      @@HTMR with the basket prongs touching the bottom the oscillators have sometimes fallen off. That's the problem with some of these and that it messes with the true frequency of them. The guy I gave you the link to has been studying ultrasonic cleaners for awhile and not just him but I myself have seen other cleaners even on Amazon stating that their cleaners where the basket no prongs don't touch the bottom and why it's better for machine and cleaning. Just trying to help..

      @@HTMR You have to watch out with Aluminum. You can get little stains that look like star fishes from the heat/cleaner. Doesn't damage the part but just doesn't look great.

    I guess I can't even name another channel so I'll just name the brand I think you should get or anyone that's continually does carb or cleaning jobs, Bandelin Sonorex. There are cleaners like Tickopur R-30 &33 and other that are on here and test showing no name brands to brands that truly work.

    • @firebird14420
      @firebird14420 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd really thought it didn't matter putting his channel so you and others could see the difference I definitely don't work for him or the cleaners. I've just used the cleaners and watched his videos on syringe method etc. Sorry if I offended you and your channel.

      @daveco1270 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm curious why you're saying you can't name another channel in the comments. I've had problems in the past with that, but it wasn't because of the operator of the channel, it was because of the youtube algorithms. Sometimes those algorithms think you're spamming and won't allow you to post the comment, or YT will delete the comment after the fact and give you a time out, which has happened to me. It's really frustrating because they don't give you a reason other than violating community guidelines, which actually say you're allowed to mention another channel in comments if it's relevant to the content. (The channel creator has the option to delete it if they want to.) In my case a different motorcycle channel guy was talking about a specific custom bike and I mentioned that a guy from another channel owns that bike and did a video about it. TH-cam flagged me (for mentioning the other channel I guess) and gave me a 24 hour time out.

    Put your items in a bag/glassware with the chemical, and rest on the outside with water.
    This way you use less product, as you don't need to dilute fully with the water.
