most folks I know did not like this movie that much- but I did. And I REALLY liked the re-interpretation of the Jupiter 2. I can see how there were some minor influences from the Millennium Falcon. This is a nice ship tho. I appreciate how you tackled it!
There's also the 3 season Netflix series. Which is cool looking but alters the original massively. Some being - dad is a cro-magnum mentally and youngest boy doesn't test well - lol. The movie ruined it with the cartoony pet, otherwise a sequel worthy and series worthy too.
Great job on the engine nozzles. Mixing the two paint colors together really turned out awesome. Since this kit is around 1/144 scale a eazy way to get figures for the bridge is to use N scale rail road figures. The paint job in the side detail pieces really looked nice, it's to bad they got covered up by the plateing.
Awesome job. I never cared much for the ship in the film. Seemed overly complicated and with the vents that opened up during hyperdrive, seemed a bit silly. Love how you did this though with the lighting effects.
Great video about a horrid kit. I built two of these and did not enjoy either build. However, could you share the link for that rotating LED array as it has very large LEDs! Thanks
I agree, its definitely not the J2. Its a flying egg. I realize its a sci-fantasy ship, so is the USS Enterprise, but J2 has not one flight control surface on its design that would be aerodynamic in the least. I think that's where designers get lazy and just declare, "Its an anti-gravity drive ship, with atmospheric compensators."
The design looks very Chris Foss inspired. Great build.
I thought it was cool
Very cool. I just scored this kit at my local hobby shop. The lighting you did on this kit is amazing.
Thanks, it was a fun build!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! It looks perfect!!!!
Thanks friend!!

Thanks, I thought it was a cool design with other than the engine nozzle thing...lol
Very cool! I remember the old TV series, but I haven't seen the movie.
Thank you, the movie has it's good and bad.

Thanks! Yeah, there was some really nice detail that got completely covered.

Thanks will do.
This is such an ugly soaceship . They should have designed a uniform flying saucer shape .
I like the design it's just not Lost in Space Jupiter 2.
