Wow. I thought I was the only one who loved that movie. I had like...ALL of the toys.
This was the very first film I watched od dvd back when it was released for rental. Will always be a good movie to me. keep the nostalgia reviews coming
I had this toy. It was one of the coolest toys I ever had.

I had this toy ship when i was a kid. I loved it a lot. But the cockpit door to put the figure was too big. if it was smaller like in the movie. I would loved it even more.
I wish more reviewers edited their videos this subtlety. Well done.

Lost in Space is one of the best movies from the 1990s :D
🤦♂️ Really? There is no "best" in this movie. There's only Ok or Worst.
The one thing is better is the design of the robot, the ship, the starfighters, etc.

I have a model of this and the bottom always bothered me its just grey except the drive. Like they gave up after finishing the top
FYI, there were actually _two_ versions of the OST released. The more-commonly-seen CD soundtrack had maybe a third of the actual score on it, but was mostly "The Album" rock songs that were featured in the movie by other artists. But the other CD soundtrack had the complete original score by Bruce Broughton (minus one-or-two themes, such as the attack on the Hypergate/spiders attacking the _Jupiter II_), some bonus alternate-take tracks, and _none_ of the rock songs.
First saw this movie when I was in my teens and it was awesome. I really wish it had done better so we could have gotten sequels. I guess _Lost In Space_ just isn't capable of leaving the 60s [unlike another famous sci-fi series competitor from the same decade]. (Umm... to be fair, I didn't see much of the original, but it got pretty damn wacky and unreliable as it went on in later years; even the cast were cringing at the scripts!)
I also wish I could have gotten a B9 Robot that could convert between its two forms from the movie. Yeah, I wanted the [smaller] transforming _Jupiter II_, but I wouldn't want it now since I saw it in person a number of years ago and was disappointed by it.

i was looking to buy this on ebay but i notice some have the battle damage image on it and some have just a gray spot where the sticker should be anyone know why so i can avoid being ripped off?

Frist, how is the DeLorean holding up? Second, are you going to do any more Doctor Who reviews, because I've just started watching on BBC America.
Still looks as nice as the day I got it. I still need to do a video on the third version. I do plan to do more Doctor Who stuff, but not that much. Just a few more screwdrivers I've gotten and the remote controlled K-9 off the top of my head.
Looks like you've got more "solo" reviews waiting in the wings according to the Conehead screen- you've got Inspector Gadget, Looney Tunes superheroes, Exosquad, and that taxi thing (Cybersix?) all there, so I'm thinking those are future reviews.
Timothy Mischka Some of those I've already done like the Batmobile, Looney Tunes and Bob's car from Reboot. The others are toys I either already have or would like to get one day as they were all important pieces of my childhood toy playing.
The taxi cab was from The Shadow toy line for the movie of the same name.

I think most of the people who hated that movie are fans of the original TV series. That movie kind of abandons everything from the source material. I mean they did have the original Jupiter 2 in there... for about five seconds before the outer shell blows apart and turns into that thing. And Robot had a completely new design that looked nothing at all like the original... except after he was rebuilt he did get his original bubble head back... and that was it. I think some of the original cast had cameos in the movie. If you're not a fan of the original TV series however... this was an awesome movie. I had never even heard of the TV series when this movie came out and I actually did see the original pilot after the movie was released. My dad found the original TV series on VHS, I forget where but we were out shopping and some company just released it after the movie came out. But I saw that and it was nothing like the movie... I could kind of understand why older fans didn't like it because it doesn't follow the source material AT ALL. It's a completely different entity. Like I feel if they had called it anything other than Lost in Space, more people would of liked it. That said though, I still prefer the movie because the TV series is WAY too dated for a kid who grew up in the late 80's and 90's to enjoy. It's basically the same reason I never got into the original Star Trek only worse because it wasn't even in color. At least Star Trek had color, black and white hurts my eyes... literally... I've gone temporarily blind a few times and I was looking at black and white images or objects every time it happened.
