I'm getting Travis Walton vibes from that Cardassian ship, Man!

@@EagleSciFiModeler He was a forestry worker who allegedly got abducted by aliens in the late 1970s. It's a very famous alien abduction case, second to Barney and Bonnie Hill in the 1960s.
I wanted to make a joke without getting into ahem *adult territory* like prostate exams (euphemism)!
This is supposed to be a G-rated channel after all!
Yeah, the Cardassians would go there. There was that 2-part TNG episode ("Chains of Command") where Picard was tortured short of having "Deliverance" done to him! I NEVER understood the appeal of that 2-parter. Sadism is sadism and it's never appealed to me.
PS -- ST:TNG on Blu ray is really down in price now. I might get it this year if it stays down. It's tempting.
I already have TOS on Blu ray, original individual season set releases. I wasn't tempted by the steelbooks. The Amaray sets protect the discs better. The discs are piled up in the steelbooks!

... And another survivor of model-mashing survives to be built up!
I'm amazed by some of the deals on these old "gently squashed" model kits.
It was seeing the difference between the "new MPC Millennium Falcon" and what they were charging on the older releases of the model that convinced me it might be worth it just to get the older release. I think it'd be worth it to get the older release and just accuratize that one if you don't have to pay $30 for "improvement parts." In that case, buy the newer release for the more accurate sidewalls.
I didn't really see anything else that was improved from the original mold for the MPC Falcon.
Still a better deal than the Bandai kits IF you can find those. Even the 1/144 scale Falcons from Bandai were costing at least $60. Heck, the MPC Falcon is 6-8 inches longer than 1/144 Bandai kit and is only $15 more!

I have one of the new Falcon kits... overall it has some nice improvements including a new radar dish and an extensive decal set as well as the sidewalls.

Well done,it turned out awesome. Did you have to drill the windows out again after the decals were applied ?

Thanks friend! no, I actually filled the windows with white glue before I applied the decals.

I remember when these kits were really cheap.not anymore if you can find them that is.

I check eBay regularly, occasionally I find a good deal on these kits.
