SEA FISHING 2024 [ BRISTOL CHANNEL FISHING [ SEA FISHING UK [,, PLENTY OF FISH ABOUT AT LILSTOCK TODAY, NICE BASS OF 6.5 LB, COUPLE OF NICE CONGERS AND DOGGIES
" Alright mate ! " Always a great watch, many thanks for continuing to post these. In days gone by I used to beach fish the very same areas as you do now, sadly I seem to have lost the desire these days. In fact, do no fishing at all now, time and stuff get in the way, and a big dose of apathy as well. Nearest to beach fishing I get now is watching these vids ! Thanks again Tony.
mate i would love to get you out there fishing again mate , time and stuff always gets in the way its amazing how the years just roll on by . take care chap i will keep putting some vids up for you , ♥
Well done Tony a nice mixed bag and that lovely bass. A really nice size and would definitely have come home for the table if I'd caught it. Was that on crab or rag and what rig was it? Take care mate and tight lines 👍 😊
Great video Tony and congratulations on a really nice Bass. I would like to ask a question if I may. Ever since I started following your channel, Lilstock beach has been heavily featured as I realize its obviously one of your favourite marks. From what I can see it`s boulders from horizon to horizon and seems to be snag city. I am guessing you are chucking onto somewhat less challenging ground as you seem to fish mostly over the low water period. Am I right? I live in the Northeast so I am no stranger to rough ground, just a bit of a sinker miser if the truth be known!
Hiya gordon , firstly thank you sir , lilstock is one of my fav marks it is boulders from hell , that part i was fishing you can fish from low water up to high if you can cast the 180 yards to hit the sand/mud at low water the sand is at your feet as you seen in the vid , ive fished there for many years probably 50 years when there was so many big fish around , gordon if you ever get down this way give me a shout i will take you to some wicked marks , stay safe and well mate thanks again
Hi paul , yes chap 13ft fireblades , not GT tho , i dont like glass tips thats why ive stuck with them , easy to load and handle everything , also i cant break them ive tried trust me ,
@@SOMERSETBEACHFISHINGtony they are cheaper for century but still expensive . Can you suggest similar rods ? Soniks ? What mainline and shock do you use ? Do those pebbles you were on at lilstock go onto sand or is it quite rough all the way out ? It's dirty water on the Welsh side too Allright mate
Paul have a look online for a rod called kioke acer beach model number 10156xt that is a very strong blank , or ron thompson axelerator if you want a stiff rod both of them blanks are cheap but nice strong blanks and well made , i only use braid 65 lb strait through but then i dont fish clean beaches very often , as you can see by the vids , only fixed spool reels over the last couple of years after ripping my left thumb out of its socket after 45 years of using multipliers it was a bit of a shock lol , hope that helps matey
@@SOMERSETBEACHFISHINGtony thanks mate will look now Over here people tend to use mono , not braid I have bought one of those lip hookers , nice bit of kit
Paul look up a company called koike fishing give them a ring about the acer beach 14ft one , just dont use the extension , ive got a pair here mate bloody good blanks
