Great video Pete. Billy Bantock, aka fisho, is still using his lucky lugworm s on our local beaches, even fishing the occasional match. His unhooking method must have saved thousands of flatties.
@@pondpetefishing9976I fished our local beach, Shoreham, last night and guess who was there? Yep it was Fisho. I passed on your regards, for which he thanks you. He was fishing his usual one up, one down flapper with local lucky lug on the usual Kamasan b940's. The night before he had codling, plaice and bass. As he said why change,if it works ! We managed to winkle out 6 species between 4 of us, nothing big but a very enjoyable evening.
Another great video, always enjoy watching them. I too remember using the boom rigs with my dad over 25 years ago, are there still decent booms availble to buy or are they a thing of the past?
Don’t really know. Had my ones a long time . Tried some that had a tendency to break where the stem met the bead . Once that happens, the trust has gone . The ones on my rigs have been well tested 😊👍
Good to see you back after your break.. miss fisho, I always use his method for un hooking , as long as there not bleeding from the gills, they go back to fight another day. He had another channel about his local beaches but cant remember what he called it ?
sometimes I forget where I am and enjoy myself............ classic Pete thanks
