- With the strong Northerly winds hitting Norfolk, i headed south back to Felixstowe to fish another of the six marks identified in a previous video..

Yes John. Seems these marks are producing a few after dark but very little in daylight.
Hard to pick a Suffolk venue that’s fishing any good @ the moment. Not what it used to be. I know everyone says that but that’s the way it is unfortunately. At least you gave it a try & I thank you for that. Hope you do better on your next trip🐟.
Yes I agree, everywhere seems to be fairy hard fishing in daylight. Better at night but not ideal for filming. Unfortunately to produce these guides I sometimes have to fish in not so ideal tides or conditions. Still lovely to be on the beach regularly though 👍
i was in the same bay today ,fished 1 hour before high down to low and not a bite

Yes, I think all the coastline needs a big rough up to stir up the food. Saying that, there were several smoothounds caught in our match last night. A couple were doubles 👍

Why do you want to catch a Ray? All that time and effort and planning, and cost! To catch a Ray? You’ll get the Doggies, I’ll bet.
It's never really a specific target. Usually it's based on where I'm fishing and what I'm likely to catch. It rarely works out like that though and ive often had brilliant days catching other species instead 👍
