Watching your videos convinced me to get a griddle and helped a bunch with getting started with cooking on it. I worked as a line cook in a Cafe and missed the fun of using the two spatulas. Thanks for the helpful info and good vibes!
That's awesome I'm so glad I inspired you to get a griddle and get back at it. I worked at Bob Evans for two years and got mine for the exact same reason I missed the fun of two spatulas. I'll tell you one thing though it's a lot more fun making it just for your family than it is feeding hungry church crowd of 50 lol. Thanks so much for watching.
Hey brother just wanted to mention I’m picking my griddle up tonight, got a wife and 3 year old at home and am so excited to try all your recipes, thanks for your videos I get a laugh and find them very entertaining. Cheers brotha
Hey Alejandro that's awesome!!!! My son is 2 years old so I'm in the same stage of life as you. I'm so glad you like the videos and congrats on the new griddle man. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours. if you ever have any questions don't hesitate to ask I"m always happy to help. Cheers man 🍻
Before kids we used to travel, and whenever there was someone cooking omelette at hotel breakfast it was heaven! We're not that used to diner breakfasts but an omelette is an omelette... These look so good and now I need to make an omelette breakfast at home maybe next weekend! Who knows, maybe the kids will enjoy a change from almost always eating oatmeal.
I don't drink lol but love your videos an picking up my 36 inch omnivore Blackstone tomorrow can't wait I'm going to make all your stuff looks so good thank you for the videos keep them coming
Ya Ross you should definitely get a set of the egg rings. They're not perfect but for the price they are definitely worth it. Thanks for watching buddy.
Great demo Johnny. I can't wait to try these. The hashbrown one looked so dang good. I will have to get the egg rings and a dome it appears. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Vance I'm glad you liked it. The hash brown omelet is definetly a must try after that I'd say the southwest one was second best. Thanks again for watching buddy.
Thanks Joel! I'm so glad you like the videos and are getting good ideas from them. Sorry about the weight I seem to be packing on winter pounds too😂. Have a good one buddy.
It's really helpful to have a level griddle too. My Blackstone sits on a wood deck and the deck boards move around with the change of weather. Almost impossible to keep level. I have sent a lot of eggs into the grease cup.
Yes it is definetly helpful to have a level griddle. I know this because I unfortunatly do not have a level griddle lol. I've also lost a lot of eggs down the grease cup.
I had to stop watching this video as I have to pace myself. #1 It is making me too darn hungry. #2 You are making me feel bad as I am far from husband of the year. LOL. Will be completing the video and taking notes when I am less hungry and I am feeling better about my self. :-) Must look for some bigger egg rings. Cheese omelettes were the first thing I learned to cook when I was six or seven, and somehow the results haven’t really changed that much. I will work more on being runner-up of husband of the year, and making better omelettes. Thanks, Johnny!
Yeah, True North Cafe does a great cook. No one narrates a Buckeye sarcasm like you, my friend. Do a Farmers Omelette soon. The Hashbrowns are on the inside with Ham, Cheese, Onion, mushrooms, and Green Bell Peppers. My absolute favorite, minus the Bell Pepper(I’m Allergic to them). Don’t forget the American Cheese on top for the win. BTW, your Bride is a lucky gal.
Johnny if you ever have time show us how to cook up the perfect montecristo. If anybody can do it it's you on the griddle and yes you're right you still have to use mayonnaise 👍
Ya Bill it will keep up. The more food you add the more it will drop a little. So it just depends how much your cooking. I cooked breakfast burritos the other day in about 10 degree weather.
I was looking for info on a natural gas fireplace. I watched a video from a store in Ohio. I went to their website. I was just messing around and looked at the staff photo on there and I thought, "Hey that guy in the picture looks like that griddle guy." I scroll down and sure enough.
There is something just calming about watching your videos. Almost like a Bob Ross experience.
Thanks so much Bret!! I love Bob, that's why I did a tribute video to him. I'll have to grab the link and share it with you.

That’s crazy man! I was just going to say he makes me want to get a griddle and back to cooking like on the line back in the day.
Ole Bob Ross sounding a**. LOVE watching your videos lol. Calming while I learn
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks brother. Us Johnnys gotta stick together .
Thanks for keeping those videos coming. Also, the life lessons are much appreciated. I now cover all of my mistakes with cheese.
Hahaha you're welcome and I'm glad you learned the cheese trick. It solves all problems!

That's a Big Boy Arrow! 😄 Keep on, Johnny!!
Thanks Jay! I appreciate the support with my editing skills. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a call soon from Disney or Pixar 😁
Love the ideas Johnny!
Thanks!
Too many choices! I guess I'll have to try them all, the southwest one looks amazing.
It is very good Dale, I would highly recommend trying it.

Try some Pace Green Salsa Verde some time... good stuff
Thanks for the suggestion Brian. I love salsa verde but have never tried Pace's version. I will look out for it at the store.
Great tips Johnny, just read your book again. Trying to decide what to cook next, probs an omelet. 🤔
Thanks Todd! I think an omelet is a great choice for your next cook. Have a good one buddy.
Breakfast for dinner is my favorite meal. I can eat it and not worry about having to bend over at work or want to go back to bed
My brother Johnny is making me want to talk my wife into getting that griddle this year. I love omelettes and diner food.
What's up Ty! Heck ya man tell her this year is the one. Promise her some omelettes and that should convince her lol. Hope all is well man.
Thanks Johnny! Going to make some this weekend. I’ll keep a cheat sheet on the griddle: eggs 300-325.
You're welcome Sean, thanks for watching.
Nice! Thank you.
You're welcome, thanks for watching.
Great omlettes. My favorite is the last one with the hash browns. It will definitely be my next omlette
Thanks Tony! Ya you should definitely try that one. It's the best.
Thanks for the video.
You're welcome Clarence.
Thanks Johnny I've been looking for egg rings for years didn't know Cuisinart had them. But you're still make it look too easy
Ya Ross you should definitely get a set of the egg rings. They're not perfect but for the price they are definitely worth it. Thanks for watching buddy.
Love your content, brother
Thanks man I really appreciate you watching.

Thanks Vance I'm glad you liked it. The hash brown omelet is definetly a must try after that I'd say the southwest one was second best. Thanks again for watching buddy.
Really good video. I didn’t know you had to preheat the metal rings for your omelette. Learn something new. Have a great day.
Thanks glad you liked it. Ya you don't "have" to preheat them but it does make it easier. Have a good one buddy.
Watched this today after making the hash brown omelet with onions ham cheese and jalapeños yesterday. Wish I had more. Lol
Jalapenos! Now we're talking.
Triple damn, woot. Your videos and cooking ideas are, and continue to be, worthy. Am not losing weight. But your recipes are tasty as hell.
Thanks Joel! I'm so glad you like the videos and are getting good ideas from them. Sorry about the weight I seem to be packing on winter pounds too😂. Have a good one buddy.
More omelets?? Good stuff! Maybe we should call you Mr. Omlette, lol. I like the Hashbrown Omlette myself. GRIDDLE ON DUDE. Thanks for the video.
I'll take that title Bruno lol. Thanks for always watching.
When are the T-shits coming.
@@brunoloiselle2710 I know I need to have them ready by summer.

Johnny if you ever have time show us how to cook up the perfect montecristo. If anybody can do it it's you on the griddle and yes you're right you still have to use mayonnaise 👍
I've never made a Monte Cristo! I need to give it a try.
WHAT?!!! NO PANCAKE BATTER IN THE EGG?!!!
Sorry, couldn't resist... I hate IHOP for that. Nice video Johnny!
Thanks buddy! Ya I've never tried that, I didn't know I hope was known for it.
When do you add the snowflakes?
Haha they add themselves naturally 😂
Howdy Johnny, well no more excuses after this video for not attempting some omelets on the griddle. Have A Day! ;~)
Howdy brother. Ya you definitely got to try some omelets now. Thanks for always watching.
Will the grill keep up when the outside temp is 40 degrees?
Ya Bill it will keep up. The more food you add the more it will drop a little. So it just depends how much your cooking. I cooked breakfast burritos the other day in about 10 degree weather.
Yup. Cover your mistakes with cheese. And salsa. And sour cream. And more cheese if necessary.
Cheese solves all of life's problems!
Wife is out of town and I haven’t had breakfast yet… I think it’s time for some omelette practice!
Heck ya Murray surpries her with your new omelet skills when she returns!
I've made omelets without cracking eggs before it's hard I can do it
I was looking for info on a natural gas fireplace. I watched a video from a store in Ohio. I went to their website. I was just messing around and looked at the staff photo on there and I thought, "Hey that guy in the picture looks like that griddle guy." I scroll down and sure enough.
Haha ya man that's me. That's my day job selling fireplaces and grills. That's crazy that you ended up in our website.
