Hi James congrats on the new griddle! I made some french toast and sausage in the video I linked above. I hope that's helpful. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas.
Finally did biscuits on the blackstone today. The rack was a little big so it was starting to mess up so I dropped them straight on the griddle. Plenty of butter, pretty much a grill/fried biscuit. Outstanding, I will be doing this again soon. Love your videos. Merry Christmas!!
Sounds delicious Gene! I've done them straight on the griddle before too. They turn out good, definitely get a little crispy and not your typical biscuit but still delicious. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

On a Smash Burger how do you know when the burger is ready to be flipped? Certain time limit, something physically about the burger. I assume since they are so thin, they're probably pretty easy to burn them to a crisp. Right? How do you not do that? My wife would not be happy if I had to throw away, or feed to the dogs a burger I screwed up. Chances are I'd probably eat the happy little accident. Then she'd be none the wiser.
