family got me a blackstone last summer for our camp and i cook pretty much every meal on it when we are there. last fall a local store had the 22" two burner for 99 bucks and i snagged that for home. only problem is now i want the big daddy. when they go on sale this fall i will snag one. these things are the greatest cooking tool to come out in a long time. i ran a flattop 40+ years ago at a local place and forgot how fun and satisfying it is.
thats a great price on the 2 burner. And yes once you get a 2 burner you immediatly want a bigger one lol. I had the same experience I cooked on one at my first job out of college and when I bought mine 3 years ago I forgot how much fun they were. I hope you see a good deal this fall and grab yourself a 4 burner.

Awesome video. Have had a blackstone for a couple of years for camping, but just not getting the time to take cooking on it seriously (or at least a little better). This video is excellent for me and I plan on trying your smash burgers when the family joins us on a camping trip this weekend. Thank you!!!
Johnny, I’ve been watching other griddle videos. I’m sorry. Headed out for three consecutive weekends of camping. Taking my griddle. Can’t wait to try your recipe book. Hey...it’s worth the $10.

Three weekends of camping that's awesome!! Thanks again for buying the book and I hope the recipes come in handy on the camping trips.
Having a neighbor like you would keep a person from every moving. I been looking at griddles. My son tortures me with pictures of his griddled meals. Loved the video.
I agree - one of the best reasons to have a Blackstone is to keep all the greasy, smattering cooking outside. I bought one yesterday for that very reason.

Love it! Going to get a griddle ASAP! My brother is a smoker guy, and does beautiful food, but for me and wifey I think a griddle is the answer. Thanks for the tips and videos!
Glad you liked it, thanks so much for watching. Ya I just got a big green egg and have been starting to smoke more. It's a lot of fun but I still like the griddle the best. I hope you get your griddle soon, thanks for watching.
@Johnny Brunet Seems I do a lot of the supper dishes as my wife is a Director of operations at a hospital, and never know when we’ll have supper? I find it takes too long for smoked, or at least, it’s hard to time things correctly. The grill is a bit more “ instant”, in our case. I can make better food, in a shorter time!
@@kendallsherryleech7035 ya that's so true. I'm also finding that smoking meats is for people with a lot of free time on their hands. My wife and I both work full time and have a 2 year old so it's hard to schedule an 8 hour pulled pork.
Hi Johnny, i saw on a TH-cam shorts video on making a perfect round fried egg on a griddle. They got a half clove of garlic and flat bit down and drew a circle on the hot griddle, cracked the egg in the centre of the circle and the white of the egg didn't cross over the circle of garlic. Cooked a perfect egg.

I wasn't even going to try and guess the top 10. But with that being said once the first 5 were done I nailed it on the top 3. I haven't decided yet which route I am going. It's either a griddle top like yours or going to do what my son is doing. As "The Cajun Ninja" he just did a local television commercial for an appliance seller. They gave him a brand new stove so he is putting is old stove on the outside patio. He has a natural gas outlet line on his patio as do I. He checked into these griddles that fit across the whole stove so I kind of wanted to see how that works out for him first. My top 3 were a big breakfast, smash burgers, and fried rice which I might add you nailed it on the fried rice. Great Job!
That list is very accurate. Another great video! I got some gyro meat and will be trying that tomorrow on mine. I'm probably an hour and a half north of you if you want to come up. I have beer!

Hello! I'm new to my Blackstone grill. I love your videos and your sense of humor. I was wondering where you got your small cooling rack? I have only found large ones.
Great channel!! Have had a Blackstone for a little while now, but didn’t do as much research as I should have! These videos are informative, amusing, and delicious!
Crazy! I was thinking while watching this, he seems like an Ohio guy then you said it! Videos are great just got my first griddle! Ready to start cooking 😎
Johnny love your vids, just got my first Griddle seasoned up and ready to go! lot of good tips my man and you cracked one of my favorite beers Bells two hearted. if you havnt tried or even heard of try Kane Head High.
I like all your selections. Patty melt needs to be number two and I would add chicken fajitas to the list. We eat them right off the griddle with homemade tortillas. ( store bought works ass well) Cheers 🍻
I do love the patty melt as well and I don't know wy. As for fajitas they were number 11 the first ones to miss the cut. It was so hard leaving them off because I agree they are good and easy. we also make them all the time. Cheers patrick. 🍻 and thanks for watching.
Love your humor and love your videos. You cover a lot of ground in each one and at the same time are entertaining. Love the fact that you use so many ungions in your cooks. For me, as a home grown tomato grower (in Cincy) I would put your BLTE at the top of the list. The addition of the egg is genius!
Thanks Bryan Im glad you like them. That's cool you grow your own tomatoes I bet your BLTs are awesome. One day when we get a larger house I would also like to grow my own tomatoes. Thanks for watching!
Just found you, since we're now looking for a griddle. Most people say they use they're griddle more then their grill. I think we will. We love your down to earth honesty on what you like and what you don't, what you need and what you don't. We were agreeing with you all along the way. Recipes look great. Thanks so much for the enjoyable, informational video. Your baby is adorable.
Hey thanks so much for watching and I hope you get a griddle soon. I definitely use mine more than the grill due to its versatility. I'm glad you like the videos and hopefully they are helpful once you get your griddle. Thanks for the compliment on my son, he takes after his mother. 😉
Thanks brother. I don't drink it as much as I used to, I do a lot of local stuff here in Columbus. But like most people it was one of the first beers to get me into IPAs, so it always has a special spot in my fridge because of that.
Wrights thick cut bacon, diced frozen potatos with onion, peppers and tomatoes, sprinkle on some salt and pepper with a bit of Emeril's Southwest seasoning... Drop the eggs on top of the potatoes when plating and crumble the bacon... Who needs a Dennys skillet!
That sounds amazing!!!!!!! And way better then Denny's for sure. I'm going to have to try that. I love making skillets, or scrambled or whatever you want to call them. A big ol mess of breakfast.
Australia!!! That's awesome I think you are the furthest away I've ever had anyone say. That's just crazy to me that these videos are watched by someone halfway around the world from me. Well thanks so much for subscribing I really appreciate it brother.
😎👍 Outstanding list Johnny! Love it. Given me a checklist of grillin’ to-dos. ✅ And, yeh, I’m adding beans to my morning routine now. 😂👍 Keep up the great work buddy!
As an Asian American from Philadelphia, I have two comments. First I really like your fried rice demo- nice job! I would add a shot of Oyster Sauce to the rice at the end with the sesame oil. Second...hmm, uhm, I'll just keep my mouth shut about the cheesesteak other than its definitely the Ohio version. Cheers!
Lol thanks Tom, ya that's why I just call them "cheese steaks" and don't give any regional credit. I appreciate you watching and I'll definitely try the oyster sauce. Have a good one brother.
Thanks Randall, oh that's cool you were in C bus today. The new Carfagna's at Polairs is Awesome! I love there rolls they would make great cheesesteaks, I will have to give them a try.
Good question, so these two are hard to compare because one is a four burner and one is a 2 burner. I bought the Camp Chef first and I love it, I would also reccomend it to anyone who wants a 4 burner griddle and is willing to pay there price for it. However it is a lot more than blackstones right now so if someone didn't want to pay that much I would tell them youre fine getting a blackstone, they are very good. As for 2 burner griddles I think the blackstone adventure ready that I have is the best 2 burner griddle because it's so portable. Overall I don't have any loyalty to any brands and I think all the griddles work just fine as long as you take care of them. It's just a matter of how much do you want to spen and how big of a griddle do you want.
There is no doubt that the griddle is a breakfast making machine. Sometimes I'm out on the back porch at 3 in the morning griddling up some corned beef hash and a couple of over-easy eggs to have before I leave for work.

Hello! I'm new to my Blackstone grill. I love your videos and your sense of humor. I was wondering where you got your small cooling rack? I have only found large ones.
Hey thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you like the videos. I got the rack off of Amazon, here is the link.

Great list Johnny! Breakfast is my favorite as well.
Thanks rod, I appreciate you watching.
Great channel!! Have had a Blackstone for a little while now, but didn’t do as much research as I should have! These videos are informative, amusing, and delicious!
Thanks Jeff I'm so happy that they've been helpful and entertaining.
Call in the lefty. I love it!
😁😁😁⚾⚾
Crazy! I was thinking while watching this, he seems like an Ohio guy then you said it! Videos are great just got my first griddle! Ready to start cooking 😎
lol ya I'm was born and raised in Columbus so it's hard to hide. Congrats on the new griddle man and thanks for watching.
Great video! Love your delivery 😅

Two Hearted, nice choice! Great list too! Thanks Johny🍻
Oh ya I love the two hearted. Glad you liked the video, thanks for watching Dave.

Being a lefty myself!!
Only ones in our right mind😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂 amen Steve.
We do the cheese burger ls on the grilled cheese sandwich. And your right it is made like a patty melt
Ya that's the way to do it man.
“They threw snowballs at Santa Claus”. I spit pop outta my nose. Well done.
Hahaha thanks, and thanks for watching.
I'm liking your entire list. Honorable mention is your hash brown omlette. One thing I want to try is a Ruben.
Hash brown omelette is great and I had a hard time leaving off fajitas as well. Love me a Ruben! Thanks for watching.
Johnny love your vids, just got my first Griddle seasoned up and ready to go! lot of good tips my man and you cracked one of my favorite beers Bells two hearted. if you havnt tried or even heard of try Kane Head High.
Thanks so much for watching Tony and I'm so glad you like the videos. Ya I Iove 2 hearted. I've never had Kane Head High, I'll look for it, thanks!
Those ALDI buns are the bomb! In the frozen section there are some pre made sausage patties that are really good!
Love me some Aldi.
Thanks for the info! Where did you get your warming rack?
You're welcome. I got it from a restaurant supply store but sometimes you can also find them in Amazon. I think it's under 5 by 7 warming rack.
Really enjoy your vids bro. Nothing like a cold beer and a griddle. Haha 🍻
Thanks Paul and yes I couldn't agree more. A cold beer in the backyard on a friday night and the griddle going is my perfect evening.
Your list is perfect!
Thanks!
Mega props for the Bell’s Two Hearted!
Thanks brother. I don't drink it as much as I used to, I do a lot of local stuff here in Columbus. But like most people it was one of the first beers to get me into IPAs, so it always has a special spot in my fridge because of that.
Tasty lookin' list! Hard to narrow it down to just 10 but you did great
Thanks Garrett!
Just your a legend Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks Steve!
Number 1 is #1🎉 for me too!
Nice! Thanks for watching.
New sub here from your Australian brother from another mother, loving it
Australia!!!
Keep up the great work buddy!
Thanks Will! I always appreciate you watching buddy.
You got me, subbed!! Dig your delivery and content. Cheers mate!
Hey thanks so much I really appreciate it.
Love your channel, brother!
Thanks so much!
Great Video Johnny. Was in Columbus today and picked up great sub buns at Carfagna”s think ill try the cheesesteak
Thanks Randall, oh that's cool you were in C bus today. The new Carfagna's at Polairs is Awesome! I love there rolls they would make great cheesesteaks, I will have to give them a try.
I see you have the Blackstone and Camp Chef... Which one would you keep if you HAD to throw one away.
3 am that's dedication Steb!!! I also love the corned beef hash. Thanks for watching again brother, have a good one.
Love the 2 hearted for breakfast!!!
Best way to start the day Peter.
