I have worked at Dyna tech for almost 5 years and Ron is a great person to work for and he puts some much back into the shop giving us better equipment and environment to work with. It was awesome to meet you and thanks for stopping in.

OK I’m back. We need a part two. This guy is spilling the beans on everything. He seems like a really wonderful guy. We got to see a rundown on some of those machines again.😅

Thank you for the tour of that shop. I started as an apprentice in 1976 and after graduating as a Toolmaker i got experience on multiple conventional machines, learning at my second employer CNC mills , Wire EDM and my last 15 years inspection . I love to watch the improvements in machines and materials.

Okuma to me is the best control I have used so far.
They also have the same peck tapping future where you change your G84 code to G284 and add you Q and peck distance.

first of all let me appreciate your efforts, Thanks for uploading videos also thanks for,... in youtube there is no such channel that make detailed videos of nx cam 5 axis setup, programming and post processing. nx cam 5 axis machining for beginners videos are rare in youtube.... make tutorials .....in nx cam make post processor making videos is detail for 5 axis in post configurator.....make videos of different strategies....make more 5 axis part programming. (lets say you hve one part of 5 axis from beginning to end process video is appreciated make 2 3 hours of video ....or lets say in nx cam when you start programming just turn on screen recording and when you done end it and upload just do nothing no need to explain all no efforts will take just upload ....this also helps)

Unless they've made a big improvement on their systems, those Keyence XMs aren't as accurate as most bridge style CMM's. There is some variability introduced with the amount of probe force. You should run a gage R&R to make sure what You're measuring is close enough to what your customers are going to measure.

@@iansandusky417 They are very cool devices, especially in regards to the AR features and the system's flexibility. keyence reps love to do onsite demos with this machine, so bring your tricky parts!

We don’t rehearse anything - it’s just one take and it’s “live” - so he probably just misspoke! Rod is an extremely knowledgeable fellow - he definitely knows the difference!

Absolutely, i personally know Ron and I assure you he is very likely, really 100% I’m just trying to be nice, far beyond where you will ever be with machining. Wild huh dirt, how not being a a grunt, but the man juggling 100 customers, while being on the floor machining, while providing guidance nonstop to the “white collar” side, while editing CAD for customers, while very generously teaching employees on site, while handling every call and issue possible, that he may misstep. Someone like you? Yeah you’d probably have hours to rehearse before, I’d bet you have a lot of free time, this would be the biggest moment of your life. Ron? And i speak from knowing the man, treated this as a casual conversation. While putting out 10,000 fires that same day. Relax there “Dirt boy”, nobody would trust you with squaring up a block. Don’t disrespect a man that would embarrass you so badly in front of your boyfriend that he would probably leave you.
