Interior ceramic works and this is coming from someone who’s family was the first to bring protection to carpet! We called it Kid Proof. I bought this product a year ago when it first launched and it has held up very well in all the family vehicles! The drivers seat still cleans up very easily but since it has been a year I will reapply interior ceramic to the drivers seat. Thank you guys for the awesome products and education!
I used the product after cleaning the interior surfaces. I did not notice any anti static properties. If anything, it’s attracting more dust than before using the product. I’m not trying to bash the product or the channel. I’ve been using the rinseless wash for a while nine and I really like it.
Great video, very informative, you guys are awesome, not to mention very thorrough teaching us all the details. A question I have for interiors is: What do you reccomend to remove salt stains on carpet?
salt stains are tough. If it's really caked in there you might want steam, or an extractor. I also like using something on the acidic scale to pre treat it to neutralize the salt before you go to town. Then when it dries it might wick back up, at which point an encapsulation carpet cleaner is nice to keep the white chalky wicking on the carpet fibers from coming back. There's a lot of discussion to be had on this and different techniques for sure. Just my two cents. -Nick
Couldn't find it on this video and can't remember which one I saw it, but I thought you had said not to use on headliners. Is that true? Seems to be a high touch point where protection would be desired.
Can you use all clean on leather and upholstery for interiors? Also, Yvan mentioned that he does not spray in interiors. How would you clean a heavy stain with all clean, with out spraying it directly on the stain? Thank you
Ok this is great info. When will the interior ceramic coating be back in stock? I guess this is a good and bad thing for DIY.😂. You guys are doing something right with all the Sold Out 😢 products.
Love what I’m hearing about this product line. Bought a bunch of it to try on my multiple vehicles. Question though. I have a Ford Bronco and if you do a little research then you’ll find out interior plastics are recycled(cheap and damages easy) plus textured. What are your thoughts on using this product on a Bronco?
If interior perforated leather seats were recently treated with Leather Shield is it still safe or even necessary to apply the interior ceramic coating over the leather shield? Should one be applied before the other after the leather has been cleaned?
Great video! Question: I want to perform step #1 using the damp microfiber towel, but don’t have a bucket of rinseless wash. What do you recommend in this situation? ~ Thanks ~
Mix up the proper dilution of Rinseless wash in some container you can dip your towel in. Or have some diluted DIY Detail Rinseless Wash in a spray bottle and spray on the towel.
I did my new CX-5 Turbo interior. I didn’t seem to get the slight darkening effect like the video camera picked up. Also it had a sour vinegar smell that went away. My batch date is 6/4/24. Is the smell normal? It was a hot summer for shipping around. Looks great though.
Yvan, I now use a gallon of rinseless (256:1) for my windshield washer fluid, and the results are spectacular. I’ll never use regular WW fluid again. It literally makes my windshield look showroom new and totally emulsifies and removes bird bombs and other debris instantaneously, it’s truly amazing, plus incredibly economical too. All of your products are amazing, but I think your rinseless is your greatest product you’ve ever designed (unless of course the upcoming ceramic rinseless beats it!).
@@diydetailofficial You're the man Yvan (no disrespect to Nick--you're awesome too). I learn something new every time I watch you. The ceramic coating I ordered from DIY arrived and I'm excited to use it. Thank you!
So if I just had my car detailed by a Pro .. and I want this product to out in myself, will I have to clean the interior again with rinsless or whatever , before I apply the Interior Ceramic???
Spray on, agitate in and stand the fibers up with how you do that final brush. Once it’s dry you can repeat for extra redundancy but one layer is still great 👍
How long of a shelf life do your products have? I’m putting in a large order but want to use part of the ceramic interior and exterior products (and cleaning products) next year for a new car that I have coming and with my current vehicle.
Hello, wanted to ask did you tried to combine Opt NoRinse with some foaming substance like handwash shampoo to get foam in IK Foam and use it like Rinseless/Waterless wash. The main goal is to get smth like FROTHÉ from AMMO NYC but DIY. I`m planning to start with combining ECH20 and Reset and go on from here, thought you could have some opinion about that. Thx
Just made a big purchase from you guys. Love the products. I did want to ask about cleaning the interior with rinseless wash vs interior clean and protect. I’m assuming the latter is the only one leaving some protection. But in terms of cleaning power, are both products about the same? Is one better for just a regular maintenance cleaning?
Both clean more than people expect. DIY Detail Rinseless Wash leaves nothing behind, DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect leave anti static and UV protection.
I would caution against scrubbing too hard or with too much pressure. I had a 2021 Honda Odyssey and the dash above the gauge cluster was very soft material that was easily marred. You all contradict yourselves. Do I clean the interior after ceramic coating with the rinseless wash or the interior clean and protect. Why would I need both?
not on topic, but havent found it in your other vids ive seen (havent caught them all), exterior ceramic coating, can your 5 year be layered or stacked over itself for extra gloss? i just do my own car, and lets face it, 1 layer by the time i need it again the bottle will be trash, so why not a second coat?
Hi, If i want to use it on a Old Car, Faded plastic too, it Brigns it back the color le nah?… i just bought but aint delivery yet… Also need to know If looks like brand New hidrated surface againg?
many uses, as @britishrocklovingyank3491 said....put it in your bucket of Rinseless Wash to soak for a minimum of 30 minutes after you're done using it...then wash the applicator pad and it can be used again!
soiled i think is better choice of words, I did 1 round of all clean 30:1 with a drill brush and spot pro extractor and i looked decent till it dried and 50% came back@@diydetailofficial
Does Interior Ceramic provide UV protection for dash/seat materials? I know most of the UV additives in coatings are UV inhibitors that wear out over time as they abosorb the energy. Should we apply the interiror ceramic and then use another product over it for longer-term UV protection?
@@diydetailofficialI have to disagree, UV protection is very important inside the vehicle. Look at some Florida vehicles and see the damage the sun does to door panels, dash boards, seats, steering wheel...
@@diydetailofficial so does this mean the ceramic gloss can’t be used as a substitution for the interior ceramic coating??…Similar to how rinseless is universal…
So it's safe to spray your ceramic coating from a spray bottle? In a previous video you said not to use a ceramic spray as it can be inhaled, ingested or absorbed into your skin with bad health results. How is yours different than the competition that it can safely be sprayed?
Wearing a respirator with Interior Ceramic is a great idea, as well as gloves. same goes for any product, we would always recommend more PPE as opposed to less. The problem with exterior ceramic coatings is that most are fluorinated, that’s the dangerous part.
one look from a professional car interior cleaner can tell that these 2 guys has very little practical experience and most likely lacking profit in their company (if they even has one). this video feels more a like a product showcase. also normally, you would never apply a product with a ceramic component on soft surfaces, like interior/leather/plastic. those who knows what "ceramic" means, knows.
@thunah29 do you have more than 40 years of experience? Considering they do indeed have experience, a successful business and product that they created with that experience. With that I know who is not the professional giving this a good look. 🫵🏼 @thunah29
Which brush should I buy on DIY for maximum agitation for baked on blackened wheels? Is the green not aggressive enough, or is there a better option that will help the chemicals scrub off the caked brake dust better or no? I’m asking because you have several brushes for sale on your website? Thanks!

Yes

You should get a gallon of DIY rinseless too, the product is absolutely amazing, it does almost everything spectacularly.

Try to avoid using chemicals or touching headliners at all costs

DIY Detail All Clean at 30/1 can be used on extreme interiors.
