Very great workouts just like my therapist has given me but only thing is that stroke patients don’t have function of both arms so please keep that in mind the same way you mentioned not having function in both legs same goes for the arms. Thank you for your tips though they were very helpful I look forward to getting my workout done now! ☺️

Perfect and you inspire so that’s all that really matters
    Had a stroke December 8, 2021
The hospital in the islands of the Virgin Islands and they give no therapy for seven days they didn’t even give me a walker I had a friend had to bring one
I knew from day one that I have to do something so for the seven or eight days that I was in the hospital I just stood against my Cot In the emergency room and secretly did exercises with my legs and with my hands . Thankfully my speech was not affected I knew I had to do something and then I found you on my phone and that was the beginning for me to have some semblance of recovery. I finally did get therapy on the island and I’m getting it three days a week so far but your videos have been inspirational and very very helpful. I’m a lucky stroke survivor because I did not get it as bad as some but I have to say your classes are wonderful!!!

I love your presents . I had a very stoke a month or so ago. it was very gentle and apart from weakness on my right leg and arms. nothing else was effected. I can now walk. use my right hand to make food clean and so on. Its not perfect yet. but works nicely,. I am looking to work on getting a smooth walk. it needs some work. I have great balance. The person that came left a friend behind. that slowed my recovery down a bit, but I am now able to get on with it . slowly and safely I know have a mask ready for her next visit. I left things too long without checking on them. so when the Ambulance pick me up my BP was 210, its now fine. and it will never get high again. a simple test could of prevented this. My writing is all over the place. I hope you can follow it. Ty for sharing . I enjoy your videos.

@@PostStrokeOrg It's a lot of self-discipline! 😅 Can you please do a video about stroke patients and neck stretching and exercises, or how should they move their necks? Because I found that they're so scared of using their necks and use their entire trunk to move or to shift their gaze. As a result, they end up with forward heads and thoracic kyphosis. What are their limitations on using their neck ROM? Should we, as PTs, focus on fixing their necks' conditions and thoracic kyphosis? If so, at which phase should we start?
I appreciate your work and knowledge 🙏
In my college, we go for internship after the 2nd year of PT studying, and stroke patients are very delicate cases and I don't want to harm them by giving wrong advice 😬💔

Thank you for these exercises but the one getting my leg out to the left (involved leg) is not going well, my knee is bending. And tapping with my foot impossible so the modification is difficult too. Will keep on trying.

Many thanks for sharing these helpful exercises, it keep us motivating ! Found your channel after my stroke back in March
And thanks God I have now fully recovered but it took me quite some work. I keep watching your videos and I would welcome some tips you may have for training the fingers, hand, front arm, arm and shoulder.

Hi chatelin oliver, i'm glad to hear that you are fully recovered now. Thank God for your recovery.
      May I ask one thing?
How long it takes until you recover?
      Thanks in advance.

Hi Gina, this may depends on each personal case but I would say roughly three/four months resulting in being able to go jogging few miles and playing the drums again. I was extremely proactive at going to the park walking and attempting to run few steps at the beginning. Training my right hand, arm, shoulder and leg on a daily basis was key as I started from scratch. Taking each day at a time being hopeful and motivated with goal are essential. Every small improvement should encourage you to do more. I am thankful and blessed for what God gave me back. Happy successful recovery !

@@chatelinolivier2187 glad to hear from you. Yeah you're right it depends on each personal case. For my case I think I have long road to go. I've been doing my rehabilitation at home 9 years ago. Then this year I started doing my own therapy by exercising watching YT videos.
i'm searching for people who were recovered from stroke. I thought nobody recovered from this disability. so It's possible to recover but it takes time for others.
I'm rejoicing with you for your full recovery. Have a blessed day.
      JESUS LOVES YOU!

    Thanks for the helpful exercises.
    To my person.
I am German but live in Italy. I will become 79 this year, have always exercised, never smoked and never drank alcohol.
I had a stroke in the right thalamus two years ago. And even though the neurologist in the Passau hospital assured me that it was probably a minor stroke, the feeling and especially the dizziness are very disturbing.
I do your exercises every day and also walk 10,000 steps every day.
Your exercises help me a lot to start my day. I don't have any complaints during the night, but the disturbance is painful especially in the morning.
What is most irritating however, is that the dizziness is very dependent on the weather. It's almost unbearable on humid and rainy days, but on cool, dry days I often don't feel anything from the stroke.
I've never been weather sensitive before. My question, if you would be so kind as to answer it, would be, is this sensitivity to weather more a sign of aging or is it attributable to the stroke?
Thank you for your very helpful exercises.
