      Hello Elise! I’m thrilled to have these exercises available and have plans to put them into practice - today! I’m curious how I know what height my mat table should be. It looks like I have the same one you use but mine looks much lower which is likely contributing to the aching in my knees with sit to stand exercises. Any suggestions?

    Great. How reps should you do for each exercise and how many times per week.

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @soniauter, This will vary person to person. My general recommendation is to do as many sets/reps as you can without pain or extreme soreness the following day. Take a rest day in between strengthening exercises! Hope this helps!

    Thank you for uploading these videos. It's very helpful especially at these times. My mom's pt was exposed to a co-worker who tested positive for covid. Good thing I found you online. Now my mom can continue with her exercises.
    Are there any other exercises to regain balance?
    My mom can stand for a few minutes but she can't stand on her affected leg yet.
    She can walk with assistance but she still doesn't have strong balance. What exercises should she do?

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @EA, thanks so much for sharing. I hope both you and your mom are doing well! I actually have a few different balance workouts. You may consider having her start with the sitting balance workout and then progressing to the intermediate (and eventually advanced) workout. Hope these help 😊

    This would be far more useful if you told us how long to hold each position and how many reps to do in each set and how many sets to do in a day. Thank You.
