At first I didn't understand what you were doing with your second version of the piping trim. But as you continued I realized that the second method is GENIUS!!

I like the fact that you are using a fabric pattern that is unusual and modern. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I am enjoying your videos!

Dear Ms Ward, I love the use of paracord in lieu of piping! Very appropriate! Thanks for the help with these pesky details!

I was wrong in the last video... this is more fiddly xD
I love how you show the way the pattern tells you to and then do it another way (and explain why). Really helpful!

The paracord trim has such a nice contrast with the jacket fabric. What a great alternative material choice!

I just got this pattern, and I happened to aquire some beautiful 15 Oz denim. I'm thinking about making mine out of denim! Because I plan to wear the absolute hell out of it! Thank you SO MUCH for making this video to help us noobs. I'm debating using silk cording to sew down as decoration in variegated colors so it matches everything

This is great inspiration and awesome tips. I have a patterned fabric for my jacket and am planning on using velvet for all the trim. I hadn’t yet thought about how the thicker material would affect size. Thanks for the demonstrations.

Thank you for this, so helpful. I think your decision to use the paracord is terrific; it looks great, even better than the camo fabric, which blends. (I think that's the point of camo.)

So glad to you posting again. I have learned so much from your trimming videos. I bought the pattern to show support, but don't plan to make it as that style looks horrible on me.

Thank you so much for this video! I'm making the spencer now and it's been a trial xD. Now I can get back to it with more confidence.
