Ethan is just an ordinary guy and when you're stuck in a house with the love of your life missing and people preventing you from leaving I think Ethans choice was a good one or else he'd be dead dead no mold resurrection they would've killed him.

It's a partial walk-through anyway, since you're skipping a lot of down-arrow things that you should be clicking on, and at least some of those are going to provide story info, etc.
I don't believe Chris is necessarily part of the new Umbrella, just that he figured the BSAA would be able to keep better tabs on them if they work together.
The new Umbrella co. (also called Blue Umbrella) is the remnant of the Umbrella USA branch, which now is an anti-BOW organization formed by some of the pre-Umbrella staff to atone for their mess. Chris joined Blue Umbrella under the request of the latter to the BSAA as they need operators.

The order of the story dlcs are off. "Daughters" should of been first then "Bedroom" then the main game then "Not a Hero" followed by "End of Zoe".
