Joe is a beast in the original game we had to use a knife to even damage the monsters while joe goes in and not only beats and kills the shit out of the monsters but also knocks out 2 armored soldiers with guns with his bare hand like who TF does he work for the Russian army or something cuz he's the strongest main character I've seen in resident evil.
Aside from Joe being a Badass, one of my favorite moments when playing is still wading through the water and then that toy crocodile popping up as a scare "Oh its just a toy...BUT CRAP THAT ONE ISNT!"

That was such a beautiful ending! I almost cried especially since the ending was so anti-climatic due to the title being named "End of Zoe" in which she actually *survives* which was just the most pleasant thing in the world to see. Love this game! 🥰
I theorize that Zoe had lived with her uncle for years, probably to protect her from the violent Lucas or something like that. She was visiting her family at the same time that the boat washed up and everything became afflicted by Eveline. Now that she hasn’t been back in a while, Joe made the journey to his brother’s place to make sure everything was okay. Which it clearly wasn’t. That’s probably how he fits into the story of the game and not just some random scrappy character tossed into the game to create audience’s views.
Original game involved a guy out of his depth just barely surviving the horrors. This has a guy that is fucking mushroom zombie punching... God Damn this is great...

I feel really bad for the two soldiers Joe Baker misblamed for what happen to Zoe, imagine being sent on a rescue mission only for a relative of the person you were sent to rescue misblames you for the culprit of what happen to her, and hold you prisoner in his cabin, and beat and treat you like an animal, threaten to kill you, and spend your remaining moment tied up on the floor of a cabin before being brutally torn in half by a monster. I can only imagine what was going through that soldier mind in the final moments of his life.

I thought bare fisted joe was a hell of a power fantasy. Then he gets a sci-fi blue super gauntlet with a charge animation that officially made this DLC double badass
The sad thing is the two solders that Joe misblamed for what happen to Zoe at the beginning were actually just trying to save her life, one of them had more then enough time to shoot Joe while he was knocking out his partner, but he didn't because he was just there to help, and thus ran over there only to get himself knocked out. The Guy Joe had tied to a chair basically got beaten up and later got torn in half for trying to do the right thing.
But Joe didn’t see them trying to help Zoe at first, he just saw his niece dying on the ground and two soldiers standing over her and he thought they did something to her. Who knows, maybe he had a bad experience with soldiers in the past which made him not trust any of them.
Unlike the other RE series, this one is kinda personal, about someone trying to save their family than bothers to save the world Leon against doors: Kicks Chris against doors: Kicks Joe against doors: A barrage of well placed Spartan punches

Joe is Chris's Master, this whole game and the dlc was about how Chris went from being a just strong dood to a boulder punching machine. After meeting Joe, Chris spent some time living in the swamp and when he returned, he emerged as RE5 Chris
I feel really bad for the two soldiers Joe Baker misblamed for what happen to Zoe, imagine being sent on a rescue mission only for a relative of the person you were sent to rescue misblames you for the culprit of what happen to her, and hold you prisoner in his cabin, and beat and treat you like an animal, threaten to kill you, and spend your remaining moment tied up on the floor of a cabin before being brutally torn in half by a monster. I can only imagine what was going through that soldier mind in the final moments of his life.

The sad thing is the two solders that Joe misblamed for what happen to Zoe at the beginning were actually just trying to save her life, one of them had more then enough time to shoot Joe while he was knocking out his partner, but he didn't because he was just there to help, and thus ran over there only to get himself knocked out. The Guy Joe had tied to a chair basically got beaten up and later got torn in half for trying to do the right thing.
But Joe didn’t see them trying to help Zoe at first, he just saw his niece dying on the ground and two soldiers standing over her and he thought they did something to her. Who knows, maybe he had a bad experience with soldiers in the past which made him not trust any of them.
Unlike the other RE series, this one is kinda personal, about someone trying to save their family than bothers to save the world
