I want you all to know that you have "made" my Yule season with Blogmas. I especially enjoyed the vintage costumes in the heritage home segment, and the brief view of the Globe theater, I'm an old SCA (history reinactment) club member, can't physically play there any longer. Fun! loved all the lights and your clothes and just the sort of outing I would enjoy except I'm in San Francisco, so I can't get there by scooter! all that water...
Your channel really hits home with me but in reverse. I had severe ear infections from the age of 1 week old. No one realized that I had gone deaf until I was diagnosed around 6 years old. My father was in the US Navy and the military Drs suggested I get tubes put in my ears. 98% chance of no change in my hearing and 2% of acute hearing. I was in the 2%. I remember the first time I heard a bird, frog and cricket. I lip read very well and in my 50s am now easily overwhelmed by loud noise and overwhelming background noise . Like you I am married to the best person I have ever known, my husband if 22 years. I pray you two have many more years than that together. Thank you and God bless.

Subtitles have been used in opera for a really long time to provide the translation from other languages into English but It feels like that's the first time I've seen them used to improve accessibility. They're probably used a lot but not on the shows I see, it's a shame it's not a standard thing for every performance.

My twin surprised me with a Lovely People sweatshirt for Christmas this year and I was so pumped! 💕😭. I watch your videos all the time with my 6 month old daughter. I've got Crohns disease, so sometimes all we can do is sit on the couch together when I'm too ill to do much else. Thanks for always lifting my spirits, Jess and Claudia. Merry Xmas!

I went to the Globe Theatre in September. It was absolutely stunning and the play incredible, really! Can’t wait to go there again :)

My "I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what is going on right now” face..🤣... that is relatable! Does anyone else w/a chronic illness, ever have moments where you feel as if you deserve an Oscar for pulling off the most INCREDIBLE performances?! Especially during family gatherings like the Holidays🙋🏼♀️!! You can only tell Great Aunt Gertrude that, "Yes, you have told me how a T-Spoon of Castor Oil each morning has kept you fit as a fiddle". And: "The reason you always have a 'cold' & are tired all the time is b/c my mother didn’t do as she was told" 🤦🏼♀️. I mean..I’ll take a Tony if they are out of Oscars! Sometimes I shock myself how well I can pull off “I’m Fine”, lol!! 🏆🥇(Seriously Apple...these are the best award emojis you could come up with) ??!!
