A few things from my experience with tint (precut and store bought tint). Remove the windows whenever possible. It makes install much easier and you can take advantage of temps inside your home when tinting on a cold day. Shrinking the tint is helpful even when doing roll up windows as it greatly reduces the fingers. Tack the tint to the outside of the window so when you go to move it, you’ll have a much shorter distance to walk which will reduce the possibility of contamination. When shrinking the rear windshield, you only need to do the H pattern when you’re shrinking. During install, you do a cross pattern to create a quadrant and then squeegee the water in each quadrant. It’s know as the British flag method. Clean the inside of the window twice and dry with a squeegee instead of a towel. Lastly, use a bright led light or something to inspect everything right after you install. You have a small window to work out any contaminants before it completely dries. Those bubbles in the drivers front could’ve been fixed if you found them much sooner.

I don't care too much because it's an early 2000s car for me. I know it's not the best quality but for $30 it'll do the job.

Contaminants could be from the microfiber towel you were using. Microfiber towels for windows have a very short pile.
When I use a regular microfiber towel on windows it's impossible to not leave super fine hairs. Try Chemical Guys Waffle Weave towel. Works good for me.

Best tint job was when I removed the glass from all 4 doors and completely wrapped them. Back windows have never been an issue for me. Anytime I dont pull the window out, it starts to peel after a year or so

Why is that? Does it stick better when you bring them inside because of the hotter environment or you're just able to do a better job?

@@Or3guns if u remove the piece of glass from the door and wrap from the bottom up and thn seal at the top of the window, u wont have it start ripping from the window being rolled down. Whereas if u apply the tint while it's in the door u have to go from the top to wherever ur door panel is. And eventually it will tear or rip or peel with every roll down of the window. If u use a razor blade and heat gun or hair dryer its an easy, factory clean job. Ime

If you install the WK2 SRT8 springs in the rear you can level out that rake (drops rear about an inch), let me know if you want the part numbers.

I wonder if cleaning the windows then using a squeegee to dry it would help with the contamination left behind by towels ... I wanna try to tint my chevy truck windows and see what happens

Yeah that's where he f'd up by using the cloth to dry the window and not squeegee

Same thing happened when I tinted my ranger with precut tint from eBay. I think it's just not the best quality tint so it has flaws
