    pretty good. just a few tips, if you heat shrink the tint outside on the bottom, and double snap technique, before installing, usually you wont get any fingers on the inside (especially with a gasket in place). i use this technique when i have tight door gaskets or i dont remove the panel. also i pull off all the liner, but make sure the panel is completely clean on the top before tint touches it, this way you will not get those little side creases or fingers. when you pull tint away from glass as you roll window up, you will flush the glass, as you did, and also flush the tint, this will remove any possible contaminates. i use this trick all the time. the only time i dont use it, is with panels that are made of cloth. vinyl panels, are the norm, and i just make sure i clean the panel good. good video !!!

    You are by far my favorite tinter to watch. I found bottom loading to be far easier. I tint exactly as you do and would crease maybe 40% of the windows I did, till I started bottom loading and wet shaving the top.

    This is guys is the best by far. I am a professional chandelier cleaner. I wanted to point out another important thing not mention here. We all have oily fingers . Before starting, use soap and hot water and a Scotchbrite pad to scrub all the oil off your finger tips and hands. That why you wont accidently leave any finger prints. Whoops! I just think I gave some criminals some tips!, I personally do not like so much water going into my seals or electronics. I have ideas on how to keep the water out of the inside of your dour jam and off the inside of the door buttons. I would consdier using either blue tape and plastics and taping the bottom of the blue tape to the bottom of the window just below where the last piece of tint would, go. I tam thinking the blue tape will not leave residue if only left on for a minute, I could be wrong. Or you Carpet cling plastic, It seem to go on and off with out residue. but I am not sure

      @PROJEX HIVE Yes it was. The driver's side I screwed up but the company I bought it from said they will send you another one at a low cost and fast shipping if you mess up so I figured I might as well try the passenger side. It laid down ok but the bottom seal is so tight it took me a long time to get it all tucked in. I kept getting fingers and I couldn't get them to lay down even with a heat gun. I'm ok with paying to get them done just thought I might try it first. I'm actually out like $30 between tint, tools and heat gun.

    Hello, need some guidance .I have got my car tinted to 35% with
    Lumar ceramic tint , but the tint installer said he can’t tint the rear windows as they are factory tinted already (around 40 %) and any kind of tint on them will make them illegal. Is there a way I can match them with my front windows. Because now front windows look little darker then rear. Thanks

  • @dmcalonan1359
    @dmcalonan1359 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    i get it perfect but sooner or later the rubber bottom window gasket catches the tint and pulls it off.
    i heat the tint etc etc a few times over a few days and this always happens sooner or later.
    should i leave a tad more gap at the top edge to have the tint a tad lower slightly below the rubber window seal..
    (the inside rubber seal at the bottom of the window, that looks like the rubber blade on a squeegee)

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Below the gasket is always preferred as there is less chances of peeling. Best method is removing the inner gasket and dropping it 1/2” below where the gasket would line up

    • @dustintaylor7670

      It depends, some sellers can preshrink. If the glass is pretty flat no need to shrink if it curved you'll need to to have a clean install and avoid many possible issues.

    Do you sand lidco grey cards??? 500 grit...???

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      as in the grey lidco card? we personally just use a new card. Although you can sand hard cards with 2000 grit sand paper to keep a nice and smooth edge to prevent any fine scratching during install.

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can start with 500 if the card is really beat up but ultimately you want to achieve a 2000 grit finish.

    • @WindowTintWarriors

      @@JBIRD575 the blue lidco cards to my knowledge are polyurethane. The Grey Lidco card is nylon giving it a smoother and softer feel reducing the scratching of window film. i would not recommend using the blue card on the tint side but can be used on the liner side for shrinking.
