I'm the same way
One is an attorney and the other is a doctor and they have chosen tiny house living. I find that refreshing. I feel confidant that they earn a great living, yet they don't feel the need to live in a big flashy home. They clearly appreciate this way of life. As time goes on, I believe the tiny house trend will become more and more accepted, valued, and utilized.
Who know what they will be living in later in life they could live in a bigger house as well

The student loans for a doctor and an attorney would be astronomical. Even if they make good money, it would take years to get it under control before they can start acquiring wealth

This has got to be my favorite couple you've ever featured. They are so hilarious and adorable! I love everything about this house, and I've seen a million of these tours - the catio, the outdoor spaces, I love the upstairs living room, it's just all around amazing. Wishing these two the happiest life together!!
ETA: Just got to the part where one of them is allergic to his cat but wouldn't give her up 😭😭 my faith in humanity is restored today ❤️

I agree that so melted my heart. We love our kitties too and our dogs, all adopted on shi tzu one chihuahua and my cat is so beautiful idk what what he is but we got him since birth the momma didnt want him but he turned out to be beautiful and loveable anyway he is so beautiful big and long long fluffy coat during the winter! And the nighbors cat had baby kittens n my sons truck so we had to have one lol. But they especially love my husband

I’m a 72 year old American bisexual married to a Swedish man, living in Sweden in a tiny village (population 650) out in the beautiful wilds of Sweden where Covid has a minimal impact. However I came out in the early 70’s in San Diego, California and what I miss living here are foods (primarily Mexican), family, friends and my gay social circle. I wish there were more tiny home communities all over the country. I would love to own one with fully functional toilet.
There are, they’re called trailer parks. How could you live like this you can’t even take a dump in private.
How could you crawl around to get to your living area or bedroom area. Seems like children shiuld be crawling around nit adults. I hate any restroom by the kitchen. I have seen one or two that have a stand up bedroom with space and the restroom not by the kitchen. They are just way too expensive. I did see one that was total price of 50,000. Its also so expensive for the lot to put it on.
I live in a tiny home community in Oregon . Absolutely love it , nothing like a trailer park.

Those are some well loved cats. The catio was fantastic but the water fountain and privacy food bowl did it for me.

LOL! We bought a fountain for our kitties and they ignored it, After they all had passed, we left it there in the corner...waiting. I recently inherited three kitties and one of them comes running to play with the water when I fill their water bowls so I hope we can resurrect the fountain and she will use it once I bring them home.
Oh my gosh.....Michael and Jacob are the cutest couple! I love the way they look at each other and allow each other to talk without interrupting each other. What a beautiful little home they've built for themselves and their adorable fur babies. I hope they share many happy memories there!!! ❤❤❤
What a wonderful couple Jacob and Michael are, and what a beautiful tiny house they both have, I love the fact that the tiny home village gives their guests to decorate their own lot on the park and I can imagine that they have lots of social gatherings at night with the fire pit burning and those couches are absolutely stunning. Tumbleweed are a very well known tiny house builders. Congratulations guys on owning your own home together and as a married couple. My vet clued me into baby wipes for my cats as my granddaughter is allergic. Simply wipe the cats down head to toe, which removes the dander, and there is cat food that helps reduce the allergen.
There’s also dander wipes I noticed a big difference one of my cats (fluffy) has tons more dander I noticed after brushing him a lot the dander was dissipated and if I used those wipes it would have been much better.

We can NEVER do "too much" for our animals! Just like children, they depend on us.

As the owner of 12 cats-we had 13, but our little old man passed away a few weeks ago-and a 500 sq ft catio (more like a cat run), you REALLY wanna wrap that in a bird netting or chicken wire made from that nylon material to keep snakes out. Just a thought. LOVE what you’ve done to spoil them!

As a gay man who has 4 cats, I’m in LOVE with your space!! I actually have built a 3 story catio where I live now. Sadly we finished it right before winter begins, so we won’t be able to fully enjoy it until warmer weather. Just love all your choices here. Only sad part, I didn’t see the other kitties
Wow 3 story, would LUV to see that! Lol their other 2 cats were probably sleeping in some amazing hiding spots, that design with more than just one doorway for them too, just amazing & brilliant! Loved every idea & design they had. 🐈🏠💜

Lovely home. I’ve never seen such an organized pantry/broom closet, and the double catio is awesome. It shows they really love their furbabies.
Beautiful home and beautiful couple! I loved that you built in a pantry......and a place to charge the Dyson!! Loved the toaster oven. Finally a tiny house with a DISHWASHER!! The dehumidifier is a great idea too. People in tiny houses always comment that humidity is an issue. LOVED that your bathroom has a COUNTER! I think I just loved the entire house!!
I've never see "catios" like that! I designed something like that for the back patio of my condo (I have 3 cats and wanted them to have fresh air and wanted their cat litter outside too), but the HOA wouldn't approve it. If I'm ever in a house again, I am definitely building one, yours is fantastic! The entire house is perfect, I'd build one just like it.

Not only do you have *everything* you could possibly need, it's an immaculate & beautifully appointed home.
As an Animal lover, l don't think we can *ever* do too much for our Animals, lol!! So I *LOVE* the well-thought-out well-planned catios- very pleasing to the eye, nice wood trims there & all over. Love your paint colour choice outside.
When l owned my own house many years ago, l took in strays & ended up building a giant outdoor enclosure with access through a basement window. Gave me peace of mind. Speaking of love how your kitchen window is a pass-through for outdoor dining!👍

This got to be one of my fave Tiny Home 🏡 ❤️very tidy, clean and homie. I love the living room area and the cat house😍❤️. When Doc said, he can't give up his cat, that melted my heart. I had a cat once, t'was my 1st pet.
You two are a delight, you’re both charmers, I’m not surprised people like to hang with you outside. The catios are fabulous, Jackson Galaxy would TOTALLY give his blessings! Figuring out how to spend gobs more time with each other has been a process for everyone during COVID regardless of home size, but more of a challenge in a small space. My husband and I live in a small condo in Washington. DC.

This reminds me so much of the old bungalow neighborhoods. Everyone has their neat little patch of land (huge compared to other TH communities), with established landscaping and fencing, close to town. Add in the wide open vistas and reasonable rent...who wouldn't want to live there? The catios and porches are divine for humans and kitties alike, and I love the concept of putting the LR in the loft while you are physically able to use it, but having a BR downstairs for future use. This little house has it all, and the homeowners are delightful. Best wishes!

We love this one, the deck outside was very nice and the rent in this case is more reasonable! The house layout also looks very practical. Kudos to those guys!

I loved how WELL the two catios were incorporated into their tiny space. It proves that you don't have to have an enormous area to keep pets happy.

This is a really well organized and laid out tiny home. I could live in a house like that. Having the office space all set up formally is awesome. And that cat space is amazing. My cat would LOVE that.
Great tiny house design with awesome catios and decks, plus incredible views and fenced yard! Very pretty and well-planned. Super cute family (couple plus fur babies)! We do love our animals! 🐾🐈🏡. My son is allergic to dogs - but not so severely that we had to get rid of them. A little claritin does the trick (and lots of hand washing, mopping & dusting!) I love a neighborhood where neighbors help each other. I’m the type to cook or knit for a neighbor in need. The pandemic made us all realize what’s important in life - love, family, friends, and health. Many blessings to all. Stay well! 🙏🏻💗👼🏻

I love the set-up, especially having a generous, actual living space and work area while adjusting space to deal with odors and allergies - kudos!
However, why are people (owners and commenters alike) not mentioning air purifiers? I know there are many great units out there!
Even back in the dark ages of the 50s we had the Puritron units - with multiple units in the living area plus one dedicated unit next to the bed in my brother's (closed-off) bedroom.

What a beautiful cat! I take it the other two are hiding and Mr Ginger there took the opportunity to do his Catio walkabout and show everyone what a beautiful superstar he is! I think I would trust him more with my health, as a doctor, after hearing that he's not the kind of person to return a rescued cat. I would be so proud of him if I was his mum. This was such a nice tour, a beautiful home, and such a lovely couple. I always enjoy seeing the innovative ways people choose to utilize their tiny house spaces, and this home is so nicely arranged. I really like the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and the cathouses are just wonderful! I think the cat houses add to their whole house aesthetic and really make it a special home for all of them. I really love the open prairie feel. I don't care for houses buried in trees. With the openess you get alot of light in the house but still with nice views of sparse trees here and there and beautiful green pastures. Love it

If the kitties are munchers just know that pothos, the long stringy plant is toxic to cats and dogs. I love that they have a catio! I want to do something like that when I get a TH too. What a great space!
