I keep asking my husband if we can open a tiny home village here in central Florida, but so far, he’s not for it. I just love tiny homes and have watched every video that comes out for 2-3 years now! I know it difficult to find legal places to put them, which is why I’d love to create one. Meanwhile, I’m working on at least one of my five kiddos living in a tiny home! It just makes so much sense financially!
I was just talking to my uncle about that! I live in South FL, I've been a homeowner since I was 28. I'm over it! I want tiny!!! There's a community also in Tampa. They had 15 or so tiny homes. It sold out! Now their building 33 more. This is a great idea for FL!
Love your remark about marital fights. My husband and I have lived in our tiny home (rv) since April 2005, just over 16 years now. We have been together for 37 years. We always answered that question with ‘We can argue just as easily in a tiny home as in a larger place.’ For us, living tiny has been wonderful. In our relationship we decided at the start to also be best friends and always communicate. I think that helped us to never feel closed in or too close to each other in this tiny space. Our first nine years we lived in 168 sq feet. Then upgraded & now have been 7 years in 208 sq ft. Both of us are still enjoying this simplistic lifestyle.
They seem to be a great match for each other and seem to be on a great path financially. That is something you do not always see in people at that point in their lives.
For a minute there I was wondering why they put a statue of a cat in front of the couch … then the cat moved. 🤣 Beautiful tiny home! Love the decor and color of the kitchen cabinets.

I'm amazed how warm and spacious this orange red color makes the home. Everything was so beautifully and cleverly designed to make this house a home. I LOVE the color of the cabinets. It's not a color I would ever choose but seeing it already in place, I really like it. We have a full size house and we have 4 TV's. My husband of 47 years loves his tv and I hate it because of all the commercials you have to put up with. I prefer to watch things on You Tube.

I love true crime stories, books and tv. I grew up around multiple police officers in my family (father, uncle and 2 brothers) one of my brothers was a crime scene photographer and was in charge of the I'D department. He can really tell some stories.
…so y’all had me at red cabinets/moon phases/4 burner stove…if you can squeeze in an Excalibur dehydrator it will shrink the space in your pantry and provide lots of food storage…so impressed by your gratitude for this epic home…best to you…
I love the red, black, gray, white, wood,.. ...They are actually color therapy which I've been doing since my son was born... We later found out that he has Autism so our house is also Autism friendly.
I love the look not only of their house but also of the park itself. The lots look plenty large and are kept very neat. The house is very well built in comparison to many others I have seen on line.
The red cabinetry is fantastic. I would have had trouble selecting such a color but once you get over the hesitancy it is a really really wonderful.color.

Love your tiny home! Never do for us of course. We have 9 cats and 4 dogs at this time! Not willing to get rid of any of them either! I had to laugh when you said that about people asking about what you do when you have a fight! When we fight one of us goes to another room, or my husband goes outside and works on something, or just plays with the dogs. We live in a small 6 room house, the sixth room being split into the bathroom and utility room big enough to have a chest freezer. I'm fat and handicapped and would barely be able to walk through your house without walking sideways. Never be able to crawl into a loft bed as my legs and back wouldn't allow me to crawl. And although your bathroom is the biggest I think I have seen in a tiny home - love it by the way and your kitchen area too! - I would still have trouble getting around in it. I love watching the tiny home videos though and wishing we could do something like it. But besides what I have already mentioned, my husband works out with weights, and I have a piano and probably over 50,000 books, paperback and hardback. Last time I counted them was in 1987 and I had over 10,000 books then, and I haven't stopped buying them, although I have court down a lot, as I now get most of them as digital books on Kindle. I'm not willing to give any of that stuff up and my husband wouldn't give up his stuff either. So... we'll never be able to go tiny house style, but they are nice. And your is one of the nicest I think I've seen so far. God bless you!
I'm planning on moving onto a buddies property in Northern California (he's got 10 acres) where I can live rent free, just have to chip in for utilities. This would be perfect to put on his property while I'm working and saving money for a permanent spot

@@JakeTheDead in paying 1175 per month in rent here in michigan in a "upscale" Park. 3bd/2ba 1600sqft manufactured home and my yard is the same size, my park has a clubhouse, pool, sauna, hot tub, tennis/basketball courts... but I've always wanted a tiny home like this up in the mountains. 2 of the 3 bedrooms don't get used so they are pointless and im just paying unnecessary rent to have them. What's the weight of your trailer without personal items? I'm wondering if I can tow one with my truck
@@andrewm3150 An 8-foot width (like this one) can be towed with a half-ton pickup or SUV. A 10-foot width (or larger) requires a permit and needs to be professionally towed.
Cool tiny home. Re: huge water heater - what about on-demand heaters? They are small and don't they use less energy? So more space for other things and lower costs - but up front cost may be higher? I haven't researched on-demand but that's my impression. Yeah, housing has gotten nutty expensive, especially in some area's so this is a good option.

"Tiny house village" = trailer park. These "villages" would be so much nicer if they had larger, more private lots.
More land = higher rent. Plus, we love our neighbors! And I think our land is kept way better than your typical trailer park.

Cool tiny home. Re: huge water heater - what about on-demand heaters? They are small and don't they use less energy? So more space for other things and lower costs - but up front cost may be higher? I haven't researched on-demand but that's my impression. Yeah, housing has gotten nutty expensive, especially in some area's so this is a good option.
