Wishing the coming chief best of success in leading the order with as much wisdom, care and loving kindness as Philip has done for the past 32 years...
The Trees, Plants & Herbs of the Earth do not care who is Chief of the OBOD. They will remain the Earth's Most Superior Lifeforms regardless of what us Humans Think or Do. Thus is the Order of Life of this Planet whether You Like It or Not.
i find it interesting that the chosen chief was chosen and not elected; surely a democracy would be allowed to chose the next leader? philip states that elections are not the way that spiritual groups should be run. surely people have the right to chose their leader rather than being told who it is?
@@davedruid7427 autocratic behaviour, telling people how it is, is more typical of monotheistic, abrahamic religions rather than earth centred, goddess based spiritual paths. i guess most people are wise to do what is right, but it is a slippery slope. once you start taking some choices away you may find yourself tempted to take more choices away. eimar burke does seem to be a very strong candidate, but it would have been nice to have seen some consultation taking place. after all, there may have been other candidates who are just as good maybe better. there is no way to no without some kind of examination of the possibilities.
By definition, an order has heirarchy, no matter how loose and benign. Humility and the trust of those with experience and competency is a blessing one should welcome. There is always someone calling the shots and if someone has a problem with this, they maybe need to do some inner work to address it. Peace.

The guy behind speaker constantly touching and playing with his facial hair and then biting his nails, so nasty.
I think he is so cute :)
