    A lot of the ideas you said, especially about being just a part of or a manifestation of the Whole, is actually at the heart of the Advaita Vedanta philosophy in Hinduism. I'm so happy to see such similar beautiful and moving thoughts prevalent in so many shapes and forms across cultures around the World!

    You have such a lovely and calming voice! Not only that, but you were able to put words to everything that I believe in. The weaving threads, the flow of energy, the connection all of us have to everything around us. Thank you for sharing this with us. :)

    I’ve had this “shared energy” theory for as long as I remember. I wish I knew someone I could talk to about this stuff.

    I always thought that 'Awens' was some sort of Ancient Celtic Spiritual Greetings Word such as the Hawaiian 'Aloha'. But it is something Much More.

    This is the sort of thing that Joanna writes about in the Chapter 'Druidry and the Awen' in her Book 'Awen-Alone'.

    I think the challenge for me is that I live in the desert. There is a certain beauty to the desert but I cannot really relate to being in a forested area. :( I mean, I have seen trees and real bodies of water but mostly I see cactuses! I love the idea of Druidry in part because I have Celtic ancestors and in part because I think it is beautiful. However, I certainly have to change things up a bit to fit myself biome. Thank you for the video. :) Your book The Awen Alone has been wonderful too.

    Can Awen be chanted as a mantra

    • @joanna_vanderhoeven
      @joanna_vanderhoeven  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, it certainly can! Many Druids use awen as a chant. The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids certainly do! When it's chanted, it is done in a three-part sequence, being AH... OOO...WEN... I hope this helps!

    her books are great but the audio on this video is so low. you should use format factory, a free program, to increase it by 3 or 4 times.

      Hiya - this video is quite a few years old now, and you can see from my newer videos that the sound quality has greatly improved. I didn't have the equipment back then to be able to do what I do now :) Thanks to my supporters at Patreon, I've been able to update equipment for better quality.
