Greetings from Cheyenne Wyoming. Love, creativity, and wisdom are definitely prime reasons for following this path. But it is also an important season for our planet as we try to actually participate in the healing of the earth.
I'm playing catch up so this is very late 😬 But what you said about wisdom Vs enlightenment reminded me of something a psychologist said to me once. "Values, not goals" When we set a goal, we set up the expectation that we'll achieve it, and if we don't we can berate ourselves or feel disappointed. But a value is something more constant and less specific, something you already have and are constantly utilising and working on. You cannot fail to achieve a value and you cannot fail to have it. For example, you might set yourself a goal of "I'm going to go to the gym 3 times a week." What you're actually doing is quantifying the value of "I want to be more active", or "I want to increase my physical strength". But by quantifying it you're setting yourself up for expectations where they aren't necessarily needed. Sometimes goals are helpful, sometimes working to a deadline is good discipline. But we often set goals for things that don't need a deadline, and it's much more wholesome to work on living the value instead of trying to achieve an arbitrary goal.
I have been lost for the longest while I have always been drawn to and felt more at peace in nature and have been interested in various social sciences and philosophises. I have been using tarot and astrology for years and have been drawn to Wiccan practices but finding this spiritual path and lifestyle just feels like it is my calling I am buying the OBOD course at the end of the month and I am ready to learn and nourish my soul. Honestly I couldn’t have found this at a better time. Thank you 💗
Leeds, Alabama. I’ve been torn for the longest time between multiple paths and one of which seems to be druidry. Recently a friend did a reading for me for each path and druidry’s reading said that it would be the most empowering and the path that would bring me the most happiness. So I’m striving to learn more and soon I will be starting the OBOD classes.
Hi Philip! I'm a new student from Delaware, USA with The Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids since March of this year. The course and OBOD and all of the resources are simply fantastic! I have very much enjoyed your work and sharing with these TWD sessions. BTW, it looks as if the chronology of the sessions has been reversed from present down toward the past to the past down toward the present (except for the first few) which is brilliant, because the content of your first videos is now in sync with where I am at in the gwers of the Bardic grade, so it is an extra dimension to my studies. I just gave a talk at the center I am with about "Flowing In The River of Time", so it's a funny synchronicity that the flow of time has changed in the order of the TWD sessions :)) Thanks for everything, dear friend & with much, much gratitude, Dave.
Thank you for this video. I am so happy I found this. I am new to the path of Druidism and have beeen drawn to it, reading and learning as much as I can. But been a little lost in direction. This video alone has taught me more than anything I’ve read about the basis of what it means to be a Druid and given me guidance as to what I should incorporate into my daily practice ♥️

3ys late to the party but I'm in Texas!! So excited to find you. I'm on a big dig and a article stated that Druidism is more of science than a religion, do you agree?? They were not claiming to be Druid, so I'm interested on a Druid's take on that statement?? Many blessings 💫💫

I joined the order last week and opted for online courses and still no course. Hopefully I have not been tricked into joining a order that is like the other fake ones.
Hi Billy. I would email them about your course. I signed up but for the printed version a year ago and got my course material no problem. The OBOD I can assure you is not fake. There are a couple of 'Orders' around so just check it is this one you have signed up for. Hope this helps to ease your mind that this Order isn't fake. Hope you get it sorted soon. 🙂

I like how the wisdom comes from something you eat; it has a physical component. Your brain can't hold all that wisdom if you're sick.
