I cooked this saturday night , I didnt have the PUNCH PHORON but what the heck , Im not kidding you I felt like master chef, it was absolutely beautiful, many many thanks .
i had mutton curry once in my life in 1975 on board a ship under repair at Middle Docks South Shields with Malayan crew cost 15p it was the best curry i ever tasted i can still remember the taste now and the meat was so tender, this was standard meals that the crew ate fantastic
I've literally just been out and bought 2 kg of mutton on bone today. 14 quid. Was gonna a do it with the laziza qorma spice mix but may just try this instead. Nice one latiff.
Fantastic curry, I can't believe how the veg just melted into a stew. I've been cooking wrong all this time. Well done, keep the vids coming. What a wonderful world!
Never cooked with mutton at home, always chicken which im getting bored with. Mutton easily available where i live and literally cooking it as i type. Can't wait. Cheers dude.
Fantastic !! This clip of the curry has got me , rooting in my freezer for saved curries ! Absolutely love this guy ! He’s a proper currie magician! Iv not seen one video that Iv not fancied having a go at ! Asian food is the best by far ! Mouthwatering dishes ! And the Dahl is outta this world ! Keep these videos on here please! I look forward to seeing what u do next ! Excellent all the way keep at it ! I love your food it’s a culinary delight
Making this tomorrow. Cant wait. got a great asian supermarket in Stoke where can get excellent quality meat and spices. this will be my 4th Latif cook. The other 3 were roaring successes. I agree with others, get yourself on the tv. You're a natural
I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. I have to say I now make excellent Indian/Bangladeshi dishes, that always go down really well with family. I love your passion and true heart. Can’t wait for the book Take care
Just bought 1kg of mutton on the bone from a local Asian supermarket/butcher... Looking forward to cooking this! Will let you know how I manage! (I'm still a bit of a newbie to all this but have been loving the lessons!). Thanks so much, Latif!
Today i made this recipe. And trust me i never liked mutton in my life. Not only mutton, I don’t eat any red meat since a child. Only eating chicken. But my husband is a mutton fan so i wanted to make something he likes. And this turned out so good. Even i liked it😭😭😭. It’s the first time i ever liked mutton. Thank you so much chef🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Mr Latif Mashallah, that looks divine, I have replicated many of your dishes, they are all truly wonderful... I would suspect my dishes are only half the taste as yours also. That rice looks divine, but I alway cook great food, but spoil it with the rice, no matter how I cook it :(
I've always wanted to make a proper homestyle, gosht. This was another level. I have cooked this twice now. It is reliable and easy to follow. The amount of love and patience in this recipe is astonishing. Thank you so much.
I live in Black Rock Australia, we have a so called first class Indian restaurant near by which could learn a lot of lessons from you. I am drooling just watching the final outcome. Well done and thanks.
Indian and Bangladeshi cooking style is not the same bro. May be they are cooking the Indian dishes while most of the cooking he does in his channel is Bangladeshi style or inspired from Bangladesh. Also India itself has lots of ethnicities in them that have different cuisines and varieties just like we have varieties based on regions in Bangladeshi cuisine. Btw, FYI, India and Bangladesh are two different countries! lol
Been trying out your recipes and its been fantastic. What i like about your videos is how clean it is, no background annoying music, no distraction, simplicity and always gets on to point. Keep up the good work Latif!
just cooked this the other day followed all the steps and it was allhamdulilah beautiful. my wife said she has not tasted mutton so soft and flavoursome. top marks chef 🧑🍳
Latif what is good about your videos is that you share your really fantastic recipes, from the heart but in an intelligent manner. The world would be a much better place if everyone could emulate your cooking, and invest plenty of time in enjoying their food.
Soo good... nothing better... getting the ingredients fresh and cooking up a storm 😋😋😋 So sad that mutton is rarely ever found/served in BIR, so underated... as well as goat.
I've been using my local Asian supermarket for years, they do great goat and mutton. It makes incredible stews etc. We used to eat it all the time in the UK and it went out of fashion. I'm definitely trying this recipe!
I tried this. Took longer then your normal videos BUT OMG, it was freaking awesome. Living in usa, i used store brought lamb and was still great. As it was lamb, i reduced the cooking time❤
Im making this for an Itar party I"m throwing for my sister and in laws. My wife is away in LA and I am with my 22 year son in Toronto. I made your Tarka daal a few months ago. It was the best Ive ever had. If I come to UK ill be sure to look you up. Thank you so much for your great cooking tips and wonderful recipes.
Great videos mate, wondered whether you would be going down the route of taking us a stage further in our cooking, for example showing us how to make Garam masala.
Love this recipe, its my go to gravy base now for most meat based curries. As a Bengali this really ups my cooking game! However, I do add less of the ground spices! Thank you!
Latif, I am new to your channel and absolutely love your style of cooking. The dishes you prepare look so delicious, and I can't wait to prepare some of your recipes. Please keep sharing your recipes and cooking tips.

Bibi Games, What a beautiful dish, I love the preparation. I know it is very tasty. Continue to do what you are doing and I will keep looking. Mashaallah.
My fav mutton curry..and a full mutton and chopped up for you , brilliant I’ll have to ask at my local Bangladeshi store Do you ever use tomatoes from the tin ? Chopped
At home we normally prefer to use ktc chopped tomato for mutton curry over fresh tomato, I just think it gives the curry a nicer colour, but we don’t add too much otherwise the curry could become too tomatoey if that makes sense , we add about two tablespoons worth of tin tomato 😊 but defo try KtC over other brands , nepolina can be more on the sweet side
You need to get a book out with all your lovely recipes. I've tried them and they are amazing.
Coming soon. Thank you for the encouragement...
