  • Plantar fasciitis is a common condition that causes pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. It occurs when the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of the foot and connects the heel bone to the toes, becomes inflamed or irritated.
You can find various products to help with Plantar Fasciitis issues on Amazon:

Suggestions on to Ease the Pain of Plantar Fasciitis:
    Rest and Ice:
Reduce physical activity to avoid further strain on the plantar fascia. Applying ice to the affected area for 15-20 minutes several times a day can help reduce inflammation and pain.
    Stretching Exercises:
Regular stretching of the calf muscles and plantar fascia can improve flexibility and relieve tension. Common stretches include the calf stretch, towel stretch, and toe stretches.
    Proper Footwear:
Wearing shoes with good arch support and cushioning can help distribute pressure more evenly across the foot. Avoid walking barefoot or wearing shoes with inadequate support.
    Orthotic Devices:
Custom or over-the-counter orthotic inserts can provide additional support and alleviate strain on the plantar fascia.
    Physical Therapy:
A physical therapist can develop a tailored exercise program to strengthen the foot and lower leg muscles, improving stability and reducing pain.
    Night Splints:
Wearing a night splint can keep the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon stretched overnight, promoting healing and reducing morning pain.
    Weight Management:
Maintaining a healthy weight can reduce stress on the plantar fascia.
If these measures do not alleviate the pain, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and potential treatments.

Your care for details has been my favourite. Have been your fan for more than 6-7 years now, and believe me, you have helped me in my bad days. Your work helps people. You should be so proud of yourself as I am.

Much appreciated. I've dealt with this since I was 11, likely courtesy of high arches. Ruined my attempts at being on the cross country team. Knowing ways to handle it beyond just avoiding being on my feet, that opens more doors for me.
The main ways I've coped while on the go would be resting my arches/heels on ice after a long day, and using arch-compression socks. They're pretty cheap, and available in a lot of places/online. The extra support goes a long way.

Well done! I’ve suffered from horribly as gotten older. Avid hiker/runner. These are all methods I use along with sauna where I stretch feet out. Also ice baths for feet. Arches have fallen over yrs and all these techniques help with the pain/aches. Good advice!

Had it in one foot for 9 months and finally cured it with a type of shoe called "Oofos," which are designed to take the weight off the heel and ball of the foot, and instead, allow most of the weight to be supported mid-foot. BTW, you can pick up marbles much easier without the socks😋
