Oh my gosh never in my life was I ever gonna wear crocs🤮 BUT you’ve made me decide to get a pair to wear at home, I’m home with chronic pain & fatigue pretty much all of the time so home footwear is my main footwear. Had PF for over 2 months now, being even less active than before is not doing me any good! Thank you for your advice, I’ll get straight into it & hopefully I’ll be walking normal again!🙏🏻
ONE THING WORKED for me. Night Splints. I bought two LARGE hard plastic night splint braces (with straps) that keep your feet pointing back and toes pointing up. I spent less than a hundred bucks for both. Without the splints, your feet point down during sleep and heal that way a little bit. When you wake, you put your foot in a normal position, and it rips apart what healed during the night, and it hurts like a mo-fo. The boys (Bob & Brad) explained it like this. It's like having a bad scab on a knuckle and it heals in one position and then when you use your fingers it opens up the scabs. This plus some massaging did the trick for me. I also found shoes called "Sketcher's Walkers" ($35-ish) that also give me relief beyond any other foot pads, different shoes, or anything else. Good luck out there. Thank you Bob & Brad!
I spent way too much money on a popular pair of recommended walking shoes with built in arches. They made the situation worse. Bought some Skechers for under 40 dollars…a soft, bendable shoe with minimal arch support and very little lift… much better. The Skechers and the stretches as shown on the video have really helped. Reading your comment about Skechers seemed like such a coincidence.
If your a side sleeper, like me, the night splint probably won't be of much value. The foot tends to stay at a natural 90 degrees anyways. I'm doing the massage with a frozen water bottle which seems to work well for inflammation. I purchased two pairs ($22 /pr.) of orthopedic pressure socks that are designed for plantar fascia recovery and prevention and a pair of high arch, deep heel, memory foam insoles ($36). I am walking with a cane, which reduces the weight on that foot by more than 50 percent. It's only 3 weeks since the injury and the pain has reduced considerably and it seems to be well on the way to healing.
@@akkuverma2328 The ability and timeline to heal a Plantar Fascia issue will always depend upon the degree of damage. The least drastic are often "micro-tears" that occur in the body of the fascia tissue. The next level is a tear that usually occurs along the side edges of the fascia tissue. The most serious, is a fascia rupture in which the fascia tissue is fully torn and detached from itself, or from the bones it connects to. The degree of injury is rarely diagnosed by an x-ray, with better results from an ultrasound scan and the best diagnosis from an MRI.
I was so mad when I woke up the next morning after doing these exercises and the top of my foot hurt. After a few minutes of walking, the pain in the top of my foot was gone and my plantar fasciitis was GONE!!! I take back all the blue words I used towards you both. Thank you very much!
I've been troubled by P.F. pain since the beginning of the year. I sent for a 50$ ankle strap "CareSole Plantar X-Wrap" advertised on Facebook: tried it for 2 months but it was totally useless, no improvement whatsoever so have returned it for a refund. Watched your 2 videos last week and then sat watching TV with a tennis ball rolling under my foot each evening AND did the big-toe stretch the following mornings before I got out of bed...Result: MAGIC! Almost no pain at all for that first walk to the bathroom! You are my Heros! It's easy to continue with this as part of my get-up routine to ensure it heals completely and keeps the pain from returning. Thank You So Much ! Kind regards from a Brit living in Greece.
Another easy but effective treatment for PF is to roll your foot over a frozen water bottle on a towel. I do this every morning after I get up, and it has helped greatly. This was recommended by my podiatrist. Thanks for your great videos guys!
A couple of years ago, I was having plantar fasciitis pain in both feet. Bob and Brad had a video describing a foot taping procedure for plantar fasciitis. I ordered the special tapes and followed their instructions. That was instantly helpful. Then, watching more from Bob and Brad taught me the calf stretches. Those proved so helpful that I could stop the taping.
@@akkuverma2328 I would try the stretches described in this video first. If those don't help, then find the Bob and Brad video on Plantar Faciitis that describes the taping procedure. The tapes they describe are a bit expensive, but they did work for me. The stretches work for me, too, and don't cost anything. If I knew about the stretches first, I might not have needed the tape.

Thanks guys. I was doing those stretching exercises but the outside bottom of my feet was still hurting. I started to wonder if i really had Planters fasciitis. Because my feet only hurt when i went walking for exercise. Other than that my feet never hurt. Then i saw the walking part. No one ever said it might be the way i was walking, except you guys. My heels were hitting the ground. I tried changing the way i walked like you pointed out. WOW NO MORE PAIN! I tried all kinds of inserts, shoes nothing helped. Then you guys show up. Thanks again
Almost 3 years of pain, injection that never helped, expensive high arch shoes, devices and in the end it was chucking it all in favor of a pair of flat sole almost archness, pull on round toed sneakers, alternating with bare feet on my hardwood floors, and yoga toe spreaders that fixed me. It hurt really bad for a few weeks, but I have been completely cured now since early spring. I can wear any shoes, go barefoot in or outdoors, but still do my stretches and toe spreaders. I belong to a line dance club too.
After dealing with this pain for years and heel spurs, my heels would feel like they were on fire, I went on ebay ordered a pair of XERO barefoot shoes added a pair of insoles from some asics gel shoes i had and after one month of walking my dogs every day in these shoes my plantar pain is 100% gone, took about 3 days to get used to the shoes, now they are my most comfortable shoes, also the pain started to go away week by week, so be consistent
@@alicegarcia9873 I ordered hokas bondi 7, wore them for about 8 months and my pf got slowly worse. What’s helping me more now in a few days is flat shoes with a zero drop in the arch. Made by Altra. They still have some cushion which I think I need with my active lifestyle but a big wide toe box and zero drop is the keys imo.
I just wanted to thank you both for this information. I’ve had plantar fasciitis for weeks now and within 4 days after doing some stretching and more importantly massaging the fascia, I have very little pain and it’s in a very small spot. I had this plantar fasciitis, got layoff from work … watched Bob how he applied the tape on the leg and feet, I didn’t it and I use a thick shock with some Velcro and used at night….. After a week I was better but after week 3 I was almost normal with some pain, it finally got better, I had no pain!! I can’t thank them enough for helping me! It works !!!❤

This is perfect. I spent a long day walking in Munich recently (I'm in my 50's ). The next day, my right foot, ahead and behind the ball of my foot, and the middle of the base of my foot were so sore. I ended up liming around, which then gave me a pain just below and towards the outside of my knee joint. I was like an old man ! It took a few days to settle down ( I limited walking, and stretched and massaged my foot by hand morning and evening ). I've just ordered massage balls on foot of watching this video. I just bought two pairs of a compression sock that this designed for Plantar Fascia recovery and prevention and found a level of instant relief as soon as it was applied. Wearing it through the night also and I'm no longer getting the stabbing pain from the first steps in the morning.
When I was eight years younger, about 57, I had plantar fasciitis. My PT had me do an exercise of picking up standard size marbles! Yep. I'd pick them up with my great toe, mostly. I did that for about two times each day. It worked. 😃
Yes, I'm finding that exercising the toes downward, rather than upward provides greater relief to the Plantar Fascia. Picking up things with your toes, or using your hands to roll the toes down will stretch the muscles and tendons on the top of the foot, which provides slack to the Plantar Fascia, allowing the fascia to relax and heal. From the other side of the plantar fascia, stretching the calf muscles and Achilles heel allows the fascia some slack from that opposite direction.
I had this crippling condition for months until I tried a usb rechargable vibrating foot roller. What an absolute miracle it was - once or twice a day for about 2 weeks and the pain was gone ! Life has returned to normal !!
Took one full year to finally be free of the agonizing pain from PF. I did everything everyday - ice roll, massage, stretching, pain cream. The healing process was probably prolonged due to my stand up busy job.

I've had it for 6 months now and it's not getting better. But I'm required to wear killer steel toe shoes at work. Plus I'm flat footed and 6 feet tall. I still need crutches in the morning.

Transitioning to barefoot shoes was the only thing that got rid of my plantar fascitis pain. Building muscle in the feet is the only way to take the stress off the plantar fascia.
I have to let people know my experience. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and did physical therapy for it. I had multiple visits with a podiatrist. I also spent hundreds of dollars on new high-end shoes, as well as custom insoles and custom night splints and used 2 separate foot therapy devices. All of this was not helping, plus I never really believed I had plantar fasciitis. Because of my suspicions, I started doing some research online and found a video that explained everything. The real cause of my pain (in both feet) was a pair of shoes I had worn the day before the pain started which caused my heals to be bruised…..simple as that.
@@ahmadalh5234 The very first thing I did was stop using the custom insoles which caused my right foot to start having Tarsal Tunnel pain. Then I stopped wearing the one pair of high-end shoes that I kept. The doctor’s script was to stabilize my ankles which wasn’t what I needed. Then I purchased New Balance shoes…one is a FRESH FOAM ROAV 1 and the other is FRESH FOAM 1080 v11. These shoes have excellent padding and helped me from putting too much pressure on the heals of my feet when I walked which was something else I did….kept from putting too much pressure on my heals when I walked. I continued to use a vibrating water foot bath. I believe I may have used Voltaren gel on my heals. Voltaren is a topical anti-inflammatory. I didn’t need to use acetaminophen much. I used a walker ALOT. I gradually got better over a couple of months (but it took me 4 months to diagnose myself). During those couple of months I was not very mobile. If I had been working at a job, I would have had to go on short term disability, which is typically a health care benefit available through an employer.
About four visits to the Chinese acupressure clinic at a local mall solved the problem. There are so many contraptions, insoles, stretches, splints, podiatrists, cortisone shots being recommended… but acupressure with a knowledgeable practitioner eliminated the issue for me- permanently.
To be very honest I checked this video just 3 days back and started doing only stretching of the foot forward and backwards and it has helped me , that sharp pain in my lower side of both heels has gone , however it needs to be continued so that it will be helpful for me , otherwise I had unbearable pain in the morning while walking and the inflammation...omg , throughout the days I would be tensed that what will help me without taking painkillers , thank you so much for guidance .
just want to say thank you. watched this n couple others last night n its changed me foot pain so much for the better. in just 1 day the stretches of me foot while sitting on me bed. hurt like hell but really made a difference while walking today. still hurts n sore but tons better. ive ordered a night splint n a roller thing to do daily exercises with. again thank you. x

Dude, these guys are awesome. In my mid twenties I had issues with my back and nothing helped until I came across their page. Started doing their recommended stretches every morning and it finally healed my back. Now, In my mid 30’s I’m back with plantar fascia pain. Thank you for explaining so thoroughly. I play a lot of badminton, the Plantar and Achilles pain have been a bother. Had the Achilles fixed and then started to have pain at the bottom of my heels. I've got to say the night splints have been, surprisingly, quite usefully! I've only been using them for about a week, tried one night without them and can definitely feel the different. I now wake up with almost no pain and the sore spots when i press on my heels are almost gone. Thanks so much for the tips!!

My foot doctor gave me shots in my heal, and I wore the brace to keep my foot straight while I slept. It still took a year to two years to quit hurting. It was the most painful thing I had to put up with while working.

There are some good temporary fixes in the video but if you want to get rid of PF you need a stronger focus on strengthening your lower leg muscles, gastrocnemius, soleus, posterior and anterior tibialis, and your peroneal muscles (longus and brevis). You’re basically building up your capacity so that it’s higher than the loading you’re putting on your legs/feet. Heel raise variations and gradually increasing weight is a good place to start. Start out slow and don’t do too much too fast or you’ll be pretty sore for a few days to a week depending on what kind of endurance/strength you have.

Wear Crocs when you get up. I did it all but wearing those shoes around the house and a flexible athletic shoe (try to bend your shoe) outside brought me back to pain free feet.
Puling the toes back will in fact increase pain because you are pulling the fascia in the "pulling" direction that's already causing pain. The goal is to NOT help pull even more from the heel.Better idea is to stretch the front of the leg, the ligaments and muscles in FRONT of the shins. Grab your hand, point the toes down, away from the shin, hold for a few seconds, release and repeat a few times. Special massage balls are a good idea but a tennis ball is better at the start so it isn't causing TOO much pressure on the fascia. Feel better everyone :-)
11 years for me , just got a massage gun and hoping these tips and tricks help. the first couple of years I figured I could power through the pain but it got to the point where simple workouts are almost impossible not only due to the pain but the inefficient energy return . You end up exerting so much energy to do a third of what you could do injury free, it becomes almost impossible to do anything cardio other than walking and even then your not pain free. I recommend to everyone take care of the issue early on . Have been rehabbing for just over two weeks and could feel and see a remarkable difference but you have to stay religiously consistent with Bob&Brads advice .

Best and more informative video about plantar issues I've seen, I really understand now why the night splint is important, I felt like it wasn't doing anything and stopped using it but it's not about feeling like it's doing something it's about not letting the foot flop. I'll be trying again with my night splints after this video cause I'm in so much pain I'm walking like a 90 year old and I'm only 34!!!!
I went though this a few years,it got so bad i thought my heel bone must be cracked or broken and demanded xrays to be taken,turned out it got so bad that i ripped my Achilles about 50% off the bone and have major bone spurs on both sides of my heels. Forget the night splints they are completely useless, all you have to do is before you put any weight on your feet from either sitting down for more then 5mins- sleeping overnight is stretch your feet/ankles in every possible direction.. If its really bad it may take a few days-a week before things start to heal up and the pain starts to fully go away,but it will eventually. Now the important thing to remember is to continue this stretching regardless if you have pain or not,it needs to become part of getting out of bed.. If you get back to not stretching the pain will start to come back and even for a day or two that pain sucks ass.
@@plasticcornet4069 no my torn Achilles was a result of my untreated planner fasciitis!! Keeping your fasciitis stretched at night sounds like a good idea but it's not cause the damage needs to heal,this is why it's tight in the morning. Best treatment is to simply take 5mins to stretch everything before you put any weight on your feet. I'm now 5 years removed from all of those issues and I got through them without any surgeries,just stretching in the morning.
Dr. Berg said when you have pf all you can see here it is worst you can do for your PF. You should stretch your foot in opposite way. And it really helpful.
I had this years ago. My doctor wanted to operate, and said it is only going to get worse. I did not want surgery. i waited, and it went away, never to return.
The only thing I did was wait. The body know s how to cure itself. One tip get those corn round foam self-stick bandages, and put it on, centered on the nodule. They help take pressure off, so one can walk.@@tammy_ut
I bought a brace like that and wore it in bed every night. When I got PF I was actually in London England. Wow every AM I was in pain and could barely walk. I ordered the brace when I got home. The brace helped and I think PF was gone in about a week. Don’t waste your time with exercises cause the brace is a faster way to heal.
From the medical supply place, I received two Darco night braces that had many adjustments which were never comfortable, I spent much of the night messing with all the adjustments and finally decided they didn’t help…but I did try. I even went back to the medical supply to see if perhaps I wasn’t adjusting them correctly. They might be okay if you have a fairly straight leg, but I have muscular legs which don’t conform well.
After months of pain, I finally found a lot of relief from the ball massage using a small spikey rubber ball about 2 inches in diameter. Though I should also try the night splint. For those of you who are driving a lot, good positioning of your foot helps.

. I believe that you should first treat the inflammation and then do stretching exercises٫ as doing stretching exercises initially will increase the inflammation after stretching. .
Before getting up, use a massage gun on your calves in the morning. Then do a downward dog to stretch the whole chain. Then before leaving the house, stretch your calves for 30 seconds. Lean your foot into the wall like the incline board. If you have adhesions, go to a competent massage therapist or chiro to do active release on your fascia. Break up those adhesions and loosen up your feet. If you have flare ups, cool it down by rolling on a frozen water bottle. Be consistent and you can beat it. Also wear Crocs.
I’m a nurse and on my feet on cement floors in the hospital! I’ve had plantar fasciitis since I started nursing 5 years ago! It’s in one foot and I have tried so many things and it is better when I’m not at work ! I have orthotics in apparently shoes for planters! I have tried taping and all the exercises ! Any suggestions for while I’m at work in those nasty floors?

Excellent. I have been placed in a sift cast and walking boot x2. I get steroid injections which help. I was doing too much walking and stairs while moving. After 4 months I saw the MD and I alsonhad a stress fx across my Callagan bone. As soon as I start walking it just returns. I wear my insole orthotics now, and a heel cushion. I figured pit the soft walk myself too. Thanks
I suffered from Achilles tendonitis at work after buying new work boots. The only thing that kept me going were those calf stretches. It was temporary relief but enough to get me through the day.

@@akkuverma2328 I would try the stretches described in this video first. If those don't help, then find the Bob and Brad video on Plantar Faciitis that describes the taping procedure. The tapes they describe are a bit expensive, but they did work for me. The stretches work for me, too, and don't cost anything. If I knew about the stretches first, I might not have needed the tape.

Thanks guys. I was doing those stretching exercises but the outside bottom of my feet was still hurting. I started to wonder if i really had Planters fasciitis. Because my feet only hurt when i went walking for exercise. Other than that my feet never hurt. Then i saw the walking part. No one ever said it might be the way i was walking, except you guys. My heels were hitting the ground. I tried changing the way i walked like you pointed out. WOW NO MORE PAIN! I tried all kinds of inserts, shoes nothing helped. Then you guys show up. Thanks again
Almost 3 years of pain, injection that never helped, expensive high arch shoes, devices and in the end it was chucking it all in favor of a pair of flat sole almost archness, pull on round toed sneakers, alternating with bare feet on my hardwood floors, and yoga toe spreaders that fixed me. It hurt really bad for a few weeks, but I have been completely cured now since early spring. I can wear any shoes, go barefoot in or outdoors, but still do my stretches and toe spreaders. I belong to a line dance club too.

They probably meant "archless" - ie the sole wasn't raised at the arch.

After dealing with this pain for years and heel spurs, my heels would feel like they were on fire, I went on ebay ordered a pair of XERO barefoot shoes added a pair of insoles from some asics gel shoes i had and after one month of walking my dogs every day in these shoes my plantar pain is 100% gone, took about 3 days to get used to the shoes, now they are my most comfortable shoes, also the pain started to go away week by week, so be consistent

@@alicegarcia9873 I ordered hokas bondi 7, wore them for about 8 months and my pf got slowly worse. What’s helping me more now in a few days is flat shoes with a zero drop in the arch. Made by Altra. They still have some cushion which I think I need with my active lifestyle but a big wide toe box and zero drop is the keys imo.

I just wanted to thank you both for this information. I’ve had plantar fasciitis for weeks now and within 4 days after doing some stretching and more importantly massaging the fascia, I have very little pain and it’s in a very small spot. I had this plantar fasciitis, got layoff from work … watched Bob how he applied the tape on the leg and feet, I didn’t it and I use a thick shock with some Velcro and used at night…..
After a week I was better but after week 3 I was almost normal with some pain, it finally got better, I had no pain!! I can’t thank them enough for helping me! It works !!!❤

This is perfect. I spent a long day walking in Munich recently (I'm in my 50's ). The next day, my right foot, ahead and behind the ball of my foot, and the middle of the base of my foot were so sore. I ended up liming around, which then gave me a pain just below and towards the outside of my knee joint. I was like an old man ! It took a few days to settle down ( I limited walking, and stretched and massaged my foot by hand morning and evening ). I've just ordered massage balls on foot of watching this video. I just bought two pairs of a compression sock that this designed for Plantar Fascia recovery and prevention and found a level of instant relief as soon as it was applied. Wearing it through the night also and I'm no longer getting the stabbing pain from the first steps in the morning.

When I was eight years younger,
about 57, I had plantar fasciitis.
My PT had me do an exercise of picking up
standard size marbles! Yep.
I'd pick them up with my great toe, mostly.
I did that for about two times each day.
It worked. 😃
Yes, I'm finding that exercising the toes downward, rather than upward provides greater relief to the Plantar Fascia.
Picking up things with your toes, or using your hands to roll the toes down will stretch the muscles and tendons on the top of the foot, which provides slack to the Plantar Fascia, allowing the fascia to relax and heal. From the other side of the plantar fascia, stretching the calf muscles and Achilles heel allows the fascia some slack from that opposite direction.
This came to haunt me at age 27. It’s always been an issue. It’s one of the hardest things to deal with. For as someone as young as me.

A strenuous yoga practice got rid of my plantar fasciitis 11 years ago and I haven't had an issue sice.
Yoga worked for me as well for 3 yrs and then I stopped yoga for a couple months and it was back! Yoga actually works to heal it for sure!
I had this crippling condition for months until I tried a usb rechargable vibrating foot roller.
What an absolute miracle it was - once or twice a day for about 2 weeks and the pain was gone !

Took one full year to finally be free of the agonizing pain from PF. I did everything everyday - ice roll, massage, stretching, pain cream. The healing process was probably prolonged due to my stand up busy job.

I have to let people know my experience. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and did physical therapy for it. I had multiple visits with a podiatrist. I also spent hundreds of dollars on new high-end shoes, as well as custom insoles and custom night splints and used 2 separate foot therapy devices. All of this was not helping, plus I never really believed I had plantar fasciitis. Because of my suspicions, I started doing some research online and found a video that explained everything. The real cause of my pain (in both feet) was a pair of shoes I had worn the day before the pain started which caused my heals to be bruised…..simple as that.

@@ahmadalh5234 The very first thing I did was stop using the custom insoles which caused my right foot to start having Tarsal Tunnel pain. Then I stopped wearing the one pair of high-end shoes that I kept. The doctor’s script was to stabilize my ankles which wasn’t what I needed. Then I purchased New Balance shoes…one is a FRESH FOAM ROAV 1 and the other is FRESH FOAM 1080 v11. These shoes have excellent padding and helped me from putting too much pressure on the heals of my feet when I walked which was something else I did….kept from putting too much pressure on my heals when I walked. I continued to use a vibrating water foot bath. I believe I may have used Voltaren gel on my heals. Voltaren is a topical anti-inflammatory. I didn’t need to use acetaminophen much. I used a walker ALOT. I gradually got better over a couple of months (but it took me 4 months to diagnose myself). During those couple of months I was not very mobile. If I had been working at a job, I would have had to go on short term disability, which is typically a health care benefit available through an employer.

About four visits to the Chinese acupressure clinic at a local mall solved the problem. There are so many contraptions, insoles, stretches, splints, podiatrists, cortisone shots being recommended… but acupressure with a knowledgeable practitioner eliminated the issue for me- permanently.

To be very honest I checked this video just 3 days back and started doing only stretching of the foot forward and backwards and it has helped me , that sharp pain in my lower side of both heels has gone , however it needs to be continued so that it will be helpful for me , otherwise I had unbearable pain in the morning while walking and the inflammation...omg , throughout the days I would be tensed that what will help me without taking painkillers , thank you so much for guidance .

I play a lot of badminton, the Plantar and Achilles pain have been a bother. Had the Achilles fixed and then started to have pain at the bottom of my heels.
I've got to say the night splints have been, surprisingly, quite usefully! I've only been using them for about a week, tried one night without them and can definitely feel the different. I now wake up with almost no pain and the sore spots when i press on my heels are almost gone. Thanks so much for the tips!!

My foot doctor gave me shots in my heal, and I wore the brace to keep my foot straight while I slept. It still took a year to two years to quit hurting. It was the most painful thing I had to put up with while working.
Until someone goes through this pain, they can never sympathize. It really is a miserable situation.

There are some good temporary fixes in the video but if you want to get rid of PF you need a stronger focus on strengthening your lower leg muscles, gastrocnemius, soleus, posterior and anterior tibialis, and your peroneal muscles (longus and brevis). You’re basically building up your capacity so that it’s higher than the loading you’re putting on your legs/feet. Heel raise variations and gradually increasing weight is a good place to start. Start out slow and don’t do too much too fast or you’ll be pretty sore for a few days to a week depending on what kind of endurance/strength you have.

Complete lower body stretch really help me. Yoga, hip strengthing, foot strengthing has help me. Great video. The big toe stretch was a game changer !
Wear Crocs when you get up. I did it all but wearing those shoes around the house and a flexible athletic shoe (try to bend your shoe) outside brought me back to pain free feet.

Puling the toes back will in fact increase pain because you are pulling the fascia in the "pulling" direction that's already causing pain. The goal is to NOT help pull even more from the heel.Better idea is to stretch the front of the leg, the ligaments and muscles in FRONT of the shins. Grab your hand, point the toes down, away from the shin, hold for a few seconds, release and repeat a few times. Special massage balls are a good idea but a tennis ball is better at the start so it isn't causing TOO much pressure on the fascia. Feel better everyone :-)
11 years for me , just got a massage gun and hoping these tips and tricks help. the first couple of years I figured I could power through the pain but it got to the point where simple workouts are almost impossible not only due to the pain but the inefficient energy return . You end up exerting so much energy to do a third of what you could do injury free, it becomes almost impossible to do anything cardio other than walking and even then your not pain free. I recommend to everyone take care of the issue early on . Have been rehabbing for just over two weeks and could feel and see a remarkable difference but you have to stay religiously consistent with Bob&Brads advice .
I've used a night splint and found it very helpful.

Best and more informative video about plantar issues I've seen, I really understand now why the night splint is important, I felt like it wasn't doing anything and stopped using it but it's not about feeling like it's doing something it's about not letting the foot flop. I'll be trying again with my night splints after this video cause I'm in so much pain I'm walking like a 90 year old and I'm only 34!!!!

I tried 6 weeks of sound wave, didn't work, made it even worse.
I went though this a few years,it got so bad i thought my heel bone must be cracked or broken and demanded xrays to be taken,turned out it got so bad that i ripped my Achilles about 50% off the bone and have major bone spurs on both sides of my heels.
Forget the night splints they are completely useless, all you have to do is before you put any weight on your feet from either sitting down for more then 5mins- sleeping overnight is stretch your feet/ankles in every possible direction..
If its really bad it may take a few days-a week before things start to heal up and the pain starts to fully go away,but it will eventually.
Now the important thing to remember is to continue this stretching regardless if you have pain or not,it needs to become part of getting out of bed.. If you get back to not stretching the pain will start to come back and even for a day or two that pain sucks ass.
The splints aren't for torn achilles that's why lmao

Keeping your fasciitis stretched at night sounds like a good idea but it's not cause the damage needs to heal,this is why it's tight in the morning.
Best treatment is to simply take 5mins to stretch everything before you put any weight on your feet.
I'm now 5 years removed from all of those issues and I got through them without any surgeries,just stretching in the morning.
Dr. Berg said when you have pf all you can see here it is worst you can do for your PF. You should stretch your foot in opposite way. And it really helpful.

I had this years ago. My doctor wanted to operate, and said it is only going to get worse. I did not want surgery. i waited, and it went away, never to return.
What did you do for healing.
The only thing I did was wait. The body know s how to cure itself. One tip get those corn round foam self-stick bandages, and put it on, centered on the nodule. They help take pressure off, so one can walk.@@tammy_ut

I bought a brace like that and wore it in bed every night. When I got PF I was actually in London England. Wow every AM I was in pain and could barely walk. I ordered the brace when I got home. The brace helped and I think PF was gone in about a week. Don’t waste your time with exercises cause the brace is a faster way to heal.

From the medical supply place, I received two Darco night braces that had many adjustments which were never comfortable, I spent much of the night messing with all the adjustments and finally decided they didn’t help…but I did try. I even went back to the medical supply to see if perhaps I wasn’t adjusting them correctly. They might be okay if you have a fairly straight leg, but I have muscular legs which don’t conform well.

After months of pain, I finally found a lot of relief from the ball massage using a small spikey rubber ball about 2 inches in diameter. Though I should also try the night splint. For those of you who are driving a lot, good positioning of your foot helps.

Before getting up, use a massage gun on your calves in the morning. Then do a downward dog to stretch the whole chain.
Then before leaving the house, stretch your calves for 30 seconds. Lean your foot into the wall like the incline board.
If you have adhesions, go to a competent massage therapist or chiro to do active release on your fascia. Break up those adhesions and loosen up your feet.
If you have flare ups, cool it down by rolling on a frozen water bottle.
Be consistent and you can beat it. Also wear Crocs.

I’m a nurse and on my feet on cement floors in the hospital! I’ve had plantar fasciitis since I started nursing 5 years ago! It’s in one foot and I have tried so many things and it is better when I’m not at work ! I have orthotics in apparently shoes for planters! I have tried taping and all the exercises ! Any suggestions for while I’m at work in those nasty floors?
I have the same issue I'm on concrete..Wore my souls of Shoes out..Bought new souls didn't help...Changed shoes it's still painful on right foot where heal is but the front of the heal...
As a nurse, I suppose you have Short Term Disability which would allow you to completely stop walking. Use a wheelchair.
Get a different job. They will never change the floors. Btw, the floors are concrete.
I have flat feet, active, and love my being barefoot.

Excellent. I have been placed in a sift cast and walking boot x2. I get steroid injections which help. I was doing too much walking and stairs while moving. After 4 months I saw the MD and I alsonhad a stress fx across my Callagan bone. As soon as I start walking it just returns. I wear my insole orthotics now, and a heel cushion. I figured pit the soft walk myself too. Thanks
