I did that exercise that you posted a couple years ago for my PF and I couldn’t bloody believe it…it was gone and I had it really bad. I’ve shown so many people the stretch with nothing but success and lo and behold they all now follow you. Absolute miracle in my eyes. I’m a woman that loves to dance so this saved my life. Genuine thanks once again Doc 👍🏾👍🏾

I watched your videos every morning to help remind me to stay on track with health eating. I was suffering with plantar fasciitis. The first step I took was to begin cutting out sugar as much as possible. My pain level was at an 8. It is now at a 1. I'm so relieved, however bc I was avoiding gluten I begin eating lots of corn tortillas and my pain came back. I didn't give up so I being watching more of your videos and continued to learn more Information about eating. I learned corn was a cause of inflammation.😮 That's when I stopped eating corn all together. I'm still learning more and more each day. Sometimes I will watch the same video two or three times a day bc I always seem to miss something. I was 158 and I'm now 148. I'm grateful that you take time to offer your knowledge to others. Bc of your dedication and effort to teach us. I can now make smarter eating choices not just for me but for my family. I'm very grateful for you. Please know that you're an inspiration to me. I have deep respect for you. Thank you so very much. I appreciate you Dr. 😊

    You have my heartfelt gratitude!

Remember, stretching is only going to get you halfway there. Effective strengthening is the other part of the equation so that plantar fasciitis doesn't return. To do this, buy the Elgin Archxerciser, a household tool used by PTs, Athletic Trainers and professional ballet dancers to fix plantar fasciitis once and for all. Its affordable and it is designed just for fixing PF.

I had limping Plantar fasciitis pain for almost 15 years, started when I was thin in my 30s. My podiatrist did custom shoe inserts twice, recommended stretches 3 times daily, and as it got worse over the years he then offered anti-inflammatory pills, I didn't take the free sample & didn't get the recommended prescription. It got even worse over the next year, so bad I couldn't get up from the bed or chair without help from my family or crutches. My feet them always hurt, and I dreaded sitting bcz it would even hurt bad while resting. Felt the least painful while on my feet after the first few excruciating steps. I was almost ready to get the injections. He said if that didn't work then surgery was next. But after only 3 days off carbs, I no longer needed help to get up. After 3 weeks off carbs THE PAIN STOPPED COMPLETELY!!! No more limping!!!! It was the starches & sugars all along!!!! At first I was very excited to be cured, but then I got angry bcz the cure was so fast & easy & free, and my doctors didn't tell me. I could have been pain free YEARS ago!! Rrr. My podiatrist didn't even know my feet had gotten that bad bcz I didn't want him trying to get me to do the surgery. It's been almost 3 years no Plantar fasciitis pain in either foot. I used to also have very uncomfortable restless leg syndrome. That disappeared at the same time. A LOT of different kinds of pains & problems stopped or greatly reduced when I switched to mostly KETO & Intermittent Fasting. Bonus, by a year later I lost 60 lbs too & was back to my trim teen weight when I met my husband in 1989! Looked amazing for our first child's wedding in August 2020. The USDA Food Pyramid & doctor recommended eating frequency made me fat & gave me diabetes & many health problems. I think the primary care doctors are in on it with the hospitals to increase ER visits & surgery income, and Big Pharma $$ too.

This did provide me a measure of relief instantly… I’ve had PF on and off for over 10 years. It sounds common sense now that stretching it when it’s already torn and inflamed will make it worse. But there’s a few important things you’re missing in the video. One main cause of PF is incorrect footwear. The foot is supposed to pronate a certain amount but when your big toe is pushed inward due to narrow shoes , the fascia is strained. You’ve got to have flexible shoes with a wide toe box, and minimal heel. A large heel adds extra strain to your feet. Another useful treatment is the graston technique on your feet/calves/shins. If there’s scar tissue built up restricting movement, it won’t just go away on its own. I found greater instant relief from that than this stretch, but this stretch did help. Thank you for the video.

I'm guessing since lack of exercise I gained weight causing this foot thing. I'm a lot better than before but it never ends. I'm only 41 but felt like my life was over during the worst days. This is the best video I've watched in 2 days. I went for a deep tissue massage 2 days ago, by the afternoon I was struggling to walk and by the evening I couldn't put pressure on my foot. I had previously twisted my left ankle a few years ago and by the evening of the massage I couldn't sleep. I took anti-inflammatories, stretched it and basically done all the things to irritate the foot. By the second day i couldn't touch my foot without causing immediate pain. I couldn't even place my foot under it's own weight whilst elevated under a cushion or pillow. My pain was a 10 and within minutes of listening it went to a 6. I can place my foot down whilst sitting (albeit not for long) and flat whilst i try to maneuver around. Dr Berg, thank you is an understatement. I genuinely was sceptical because i listen yo your content for nutrition purposes but was i genuinely surprised. It's Christmas and the only time i can get help is the 27th. I also have a feeling the Dr will just say, anti-inflammatory and write it off. I was looking for a solution that wouldn't harm me whilst also healing me.

Thank you so much Dr. Berg. I woke up one morning to find I could not walk without limping and holding on to the wall. I did not waste time and went to You Tube looking for your advice on the problem. Every one at home was laughing at me as to why I did not want to go the hospital instead. I had my trust on you and I started doing what you instructed. On day 2 I still felt the pain when I walked, but better. On day 3 much better. On day the pain went away. After two weeks, I became fully, healed and back to my normal physical life! You are God sent.

I had plantar fasciitis for over 3 years and found no relief until I found out about trigger point therapy. I had trigger points in my calf muscles that were causing my plantar fasciitis. Within a week after starting trigger point therapy I was almost completely pain free. Also you must wear shoes that are wide enough for your toes to splay out. This makes a huge difference also!!!!

Dr. Berg I watch you for dietary reasons, but I clicked on this video because I've been suffering from plantars fasciitis since August of of 2023. I've seen a podiatrist who referred me to a physical therpist. I was in physical therapy for 3 months and decided to take a break because the treatments were painful. Since January 2024 I've been walking around with pain. After seeing this video I streteched my foot downward like you suggested and applied pressure to the bottom of my foot messaging it. This was last night. This morning the pain is GONE! 😭 Thank you, Jesus for putting this video infront of me. Dr. Berg this video I will recommend to anyone who suffers from plantar fasciitis. ❤❤❤❤ I realized what was being done to my foot at the physical therapist was the opposite of what you showed in this video. They were stretching my foot upward toward my shin making the pain worse.

    • @SilverCherryx0
      @SilverCherryx0 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

@ Yes, but I didn’t massage it the whole time because it was painful for me in the beginning. But I did the pointing my foot down motion repeatedly throughout the night. The next day the pain was gone. It did come back but it was minor pain at that point. When I felt pain I did the massaging and pointing the foot down again multiple times throughout the day. After a week I didn’t feel anything. I forgot I even had that injury. 7 months later my foot is great.

I accidentally cured my "Plantar Fasciitis" I had for 15 years in my left foot. Podiatrist treated my Plantar fasciitis with shots, straps, Vitamin D, orthopedics, etc. True story Dr. Berg! Long story short, I ended up in the hospital for a week and couldn't eat. After being released, the following day I felt like I broke my big toe on my right foot. Back to the hospital, and they diagnosed Gout. Gave me a shot, prescribed Colchicine, and sent me home. Next day, my big toe pain gone, and my 10 year long agony of 6-8 level pain of plantar fasciitis in my left foot was gone as well.
I haven't had any plantar Fasciitis pain since..... Turns out kidneys excrete ketones before uric acid. My Uric acid level was 14 (normal is 7).
Cured the gout, cured the plantar Fasciits.
    It worked for me, YMMV.

Make sure you take 100-200mcg of Vitamin K2 if taking D3. Dr. Berg talks about taking these two vitamins together.

The way I got rid of mine was to roll my foot over a somewhat hard ball, then I stretched the foot the way Dr. berg said in other video. But I also added twisting of the foot in all directions. I really believe rolling the ball under your foot before your first step out of the bed. My foot got better in about a month.

I did the stretches over two days and after two months of 8-10 pain I’m pain free! It feels like a miracle! Thank you, Dr. Berg! Why is this not the standard of care? Fan for Life.

Dr. Burg, I have had inflammation in both my heels from years of running & sprinting. I was told to stretch the conversional way & not only it didn't help but put more tension to the inflamed areas, but after applying your advice to the opposite direction there was a feeling of instant relief of pain.
