I owned the KZ CRN Crinacle IEM, which costed around EUR 35 one year ago. They sounded really open: A nice warm and beefy bass, slightly scooped mids and very well extended highs. Quite liked them, but for some reason they failed on me after about 6 months, unfortunately. Now I use the Yinyoo KZ ZAS IEM. Those advertise to have 7 balanced armature drivers and 1 dynamic driver per side. These IEM costed me EUR 85 and sound absolutely amazing. Hopefully these last longer. I believe the overall sound quality of KZ is pretty neat giving it's average price, but the build quality could be way better. If they were to improve that, they might win ground really fast in the IEM industry.
Wow. I think you may be one of the fewer TH-camrs who reviewed KZ earbuds coming from Temu. AND live at that! Edit: bought my pair from Amazon for 34 dollars and bumped it to 50 due to desparation! Nonethless, Temu is the better way if you wanna save!
@@Christaz9 if you haven’t use IEM for game before just try it. Its a different experience compare to headphones, some love it some don’t but its only super cheap if you haven’t check the price
Thank you for the coupon code! Just scooped up a pair of the KZ A16’s for 30$. I have several pair of the kz pros and a couple pair of the zx10 pros as a backup in my bass and guitar cases. I’m a shure 535 guy but it’s too expensive to buy them 5-6 times to keep in my different cases. I play enough that I grab a different instrument from night to night and like to have multiple pair in every case. In only takes one or two times of showing up to a show out of town and realizing you forgot to remove your in ears from the case you used last night before you just bite the bullet and put them in every case you own.
Nice review man, thanks! Luckily the KZ cables have an „R“ and an „L“ on the outside of the connections to indicate right and left. Hardly visible but it’s there…
Hi, I dont know much about sound but are KZ ZS10 Pro and Pro X better than most headsets for let say 200 USD? Are they good for games where knowing direction of the sound (footsteps etc) is important? Of course these are not 3d sound devices but games use channel mixing to simulate 3D.
Great review indept guide on a musician's perspective however i was mainly looking for gaming purpose not music sadly if you do have any idea which one would you most likely recommend me for gaming?
Listening to this w my kz zs10 pro x. Love them. Had em about a year now. Just lost a Jabra elite bud at a kid fun park so I just got a Bluetooth dac so they can be my daily driver. Kz gets some hate but so glad I went down the rabbit hole a little and got a pair.
Thanks for the video man, so which are the best for budget users? Im a beginner composer but don't have much money, which are the best in terms of Price to quality balance ratio?
Which one woudl you recommend for gigging and practicing at home for a gutiarist? I'm going to conenct it to my helix processor. I've heard that zs10 pro boosts the low end a little bit too much and the samples in your video seems to support that.
Men, i was wrong, i am so used to find the position of the iems by the form or it that was sure all comes with the mark in them, but not. But the cable allways comes with the mark, it is just in the part of the c pin connection to the iem, the marks are in salient and transparen so it is quite difficult to see them
*Do you think that any KZ model, of those that have switches to control the frequencies, can be calibrated to get a sound as close to the flat sound that a guitarist can use to set up a guitar multi-effects?*
@@perry521 hi 👋 I didn’t try any of those for now. I will suggest you to get a parlor that you may like and just learn to listen them. Take a lot of time to listen to music that you know and like and learn how good guitar tone sounds with your specific IEM. You don’t need fully flat reference. You need to understand how to make good decisions based on what you know about them.
That board is far cry from my DJ days from the 80s. Numark was the standardback then. I have the ZX ZS10 pro 2s coming. Its my first iem. If they sound better than my Soundcore p40s, I'll be stoked.
I've used the as16, zsr, zs10pro x, castor bass version, I think the castor is the best sounding so far but I haven't tried out the symphony cuz it's sound signature is almost the same as the castor
i have 2 pair. they are very clear and bass light. pair them with Fiio and ifi products which tend to be warmer sounding dacs. with others like the ibasso or the m15 from questyle, they sound super bright.
There are plenty of brands besides KZ. The Zigaat Nuo is my favorite under $30 at the moment (v-shaped so a little more bass and treble). There are others that have a more 'flat' sound like the 7hz Zero.
Thanks for the video. I am planning to buy the KZ ZS 10 ProX in the next few days. By the way, Temu doesn't ship items to India. Selected all the free gifts in the first 5 minutes only to find out it's not for Indian customers. Had to uninstall the app. :P

All those iems and cables comes with the left/rigth mark, it is quite small but there it is. Bytheway the microphone is allways at the rigth
If you have any pointers for me on where to find them, let me know, I took a really close look after the video

How is the lower priced kzs compared to the higher priced ones?

My favorite are the ZS10 Pro

No, the headphone connection on the wing are only headphones not a combo jack with microphone input
no, but you could probably build an adapter to do so.
