This video came out yesterday and all the items except for the headphones say "this item has been discontinued", and cant be found in search - so maybe have a word with your sponsor about that... (I even switched region to check and I get the same result in US)
Without record out of receiver it's just a commercial vid. The first IEM system is a copy of Sennheiser system (it's even colored same way). The problem is those have no compression or limiter and are very difficult to maintain in real life gig - I had them and were unable to make it good sounding even if actually range was great the sound was bad form dedicated x32 monitor mixer and professional crew. So... Nice try but thanks.
Stuff from Temu always sketches me out, so thank you so much for the review, Scott! Great as always. I can always count on you to help me when I'm lost!
Hey Scott and thanks for all of the content you have and wow. However l have a question? I just purchased the Ueteto Wireless in Ear Monitor System for my church praise team. It's two of us and we sing from tracks from my phone. How would l hook up two receivers to one transmitter and hear the my voice 🤔?
Thank you Scott! Like it’s not enough stress playing a gig but you’re also trying out new gear for us. We really appreciate everything you do for us. And your love of the show Twin Peaks is also appreciated as it’s one of the greatest shows ever!
I have those 8 driver KZ earbuds and can confirm they sound insanely good for $60. I'm a bass player and singer and I can hear my instrument and vocal clearly with no distortion. Lots of body and low end. Got mine for that same price from Amazon, in case your viewers don't want to buy from Temu.
Anytime I’m LOST I always come to Scott Uhl! Always has the most detailed and broken down videos that make it easy to understand! Don’t stop making videos! 🙌🏽🔥
Scott, your channel is so helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge for all this stuff. I was not aware of Twin Peaks - I guess I'll have to check this out. Best regards.
The band and I just rented a mixer and tested out IEMs for the first time, and I think we're hooked! Also, Twin Peaks had one of the best soundtracks ever! Love your videos, thanks for all the work you put into them!
Scott, thank you so much for these videos. I have learned so much from you. This one in particular is just what I have been researching. I have a five-piece band and we really are looking into getting in ear monitors but we can't afford one of the real expense one We are going to try your Temu links. Especially for my drummer, the mixer sounds like a perfect fix. You are concise and clear in showing exactly how things are connected ,that is also very helpful. Keep it up! I'll be watching.❤
I’ve been LOST on how best to purchase low cost gear from Temu, often buying 2-3 competing items, expecting a high failure rate… then when going back to purchase multiple of the ones that worked, the item can’t be found. Thanks for your great videos and educating us with your experience!
Stephen, congrats, you actually were the winner for the LOST prize. You can see the post in my community tab to confirm it. Please respond here so I know you saw it, and then contact me via my website or Instagram (links in description), and I'll get those to you. Remember, I'll never ask you for money, ever. Congrats and thanks!
Really great to see someone actually talk about inexpensive in ear systems. I was trying to look these up a while back but I was "Lost" trying to find ones that were actually legitimate. Thanx for posting this rundown....good info!!
I got the Lekato version (looks just like the M-Vave) and it's been very good at home, zero complaints! On the other hand I also bought the Lekato WS70 rx/tx set for guitar and it has too much background hiss for my liking.
Thanks Scott. More gear that I must have. I feel LOST sometimes. It’s much appreciated that you try gear out in live settings so we know what to expect. Rock on!
Love seeing these videos, Scott! It helps me as a tech director for a high school find cheaper gear for students to learn with so we can better prepare them for the professional work. Takes a lot of budget stress off of us! Also, solid taste in music! (Worship!)
TWIN PEAKS! Hey Scott, great review and information! I am truly loving these cheap gear videos that you are finding! I am a keys player in a praise and worship band of four musicians and singers, and we have been desperately searching for an in-ear solution so that we can get rid of our floor monitors as we don't have a lot of space in our practice area or some of the small church settings where we play. Keep up the great work brother, we all appreciate your time and research! God bless
Thank you Scott to help all the geek musicians find stuff to perform in the best conditions. In ear and monitoring are the "Twin peaks" of my researches nowadays :D
I’m using the 36$ one’s as a DJ on weddings with IEM’s. The sound quality is fantastic. I’m using them on 1,5m (sorry Europe) of my mixer so I don’t havy any interference. Btw, did you know you can use them while charging? I have a little powerbank in my pocket so they last forever and ever. When I have to go to the bathroom during the night they go for around 40 - 50m. The best thing I ever bought. They are great for dj’s! I have a second set for an extra set of speakers when I have to cross ’dangerous’ walking ways with cables. My main set of speakers is always wired.
@@ScottUhlMusic I did some test with 2 yagi beam antennas for 2.4ghz configured as passive repeater. 1 pointing directly on the transmitter (5 CM distance), the other pointing in the open. These things go for over 200m outside in a straight line of sight. You should try it.
Twin Peaks! Winning a wireless monitor solution would save me from the science project of building one from an FM transmitter. Thank you for the great content on your channel. It's taught me a lot about backing tracks, click tracks and monitoring. Thanks again!
We couldn’t help but take a twin peak at this video and we’re so glad we did. You put us onto so much cool music tech, we’ve really evolved as musicians since finding your channel. Cheers 😊
Don't turn up the volume too loud on the dual channel system... guess you could call it Twin Peaks... For real though great vid! I've always wondered how these budget friendly systems performed and you basically answered all the questions I had!
Scott, I used the Mvave wireless in ears. My feedback is if you use 1 transmitter and multiple receivers (only 1 mix for all my 8 band mates), I noticed sound quality and connection stability drops drastically. But it is good for about 2 to 4 receivers. I am still keeping it. 👊🏻
Thanks for letting me know. In my opinion, you shouldn’t be using that one for your entire band. I suggest watching this: th-cam.com/video/Xgw96rY4TAc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qKlSdj-0jwD91yxV
Thanks for the valuable informations. Being the drummer of the band your tips on the mixers helped ❤. I was "LOST" finding a good IEM tutorial. Thanks.
Thanks Scott! We have been on a driving trip from Washington State down thru California and now on to Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado....we3seen mny Twin Peaks along the way! Cheers!
We have to acknowledge the effort Scott puts into his reviews, even risking his own live shows to give us the best review possible. I have Lost so many giveaways I hope this is the one!!
Twin Peaks! That’s for another great gears review. You’re tips and info have helped me set up wireless iems, mics and instruments with confidence - keep ‘em coming!
Yup, we've certainly got some budget options there, and the rack unit seems like a decent first entry. Much like so many shows of the 90's I never got around to Twin Peaks either sadly... Cheers!
It's great to see that IEM set ups are getting more and more affordable. Thanks for another great review. I've never watched Twin Peaks but now that I'm entered, I should give it a shot.
TWIN PEAKS. Always look forward to these budget friendly-style videos. And they become budget-friendly BACKUP solutions too. You help us out here (maybe) more than you know. Thank you👍
Thanks for all the info Scott! Your videos have been invaluable as I travel down this road of figuring out how to use electronics while gigging! “Lost” is what I’m hoping for! Thanks again 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼!
I love KZ, I don't know if Temu has real or fake KZ's but I have the ZAX's and at least 10 other pairs of KZ's of various models and they're amazing for the price.
I use those KZ buds. They're crazy good for the money and totally crush my old $99 Sure buds. I was surprised how much low freq they push. Bass for days in those. I may need to look into that first IEM system you showed. $150 for 4 packs is crazy. For $300 nobody has to share. That's still half what a single Sennheiser transmitter / reciever goes for. You my friend are the Twin Peaks of budget friendly gear channels!
Okay, Scott. Thanks again for the educational video and product testings. They really help me a lot while trying to build an IEM setup for my band. Also, here’s my absolute favorite moment from Twin Peaks. “Fellas, don’t drink that coffee. You’d never guess… there was a fish in the percolator!”
Really great review. I posted it in the backing tracks group. I'd be lost without an in ear backup and those 8 channel ears probably sound killer for the money! Thanks for all of these reviews they help us regular guys more than you'll ever know.
As always, Scott comes through for the budget conscience musician! Actually doing my first gig tonight on my own. Moved 2 years ago and left my band, so now it's Just Jay. I always like the show Twin Peaks. Great secret code.
I'm glad you listed the RF channel information for these. There are too many wireless systems from "overseas" that operate on frequencies that are not legal to use in North America or Europe.
FYI - I bought what looks like the TEMU brand ~$38.50 M-Vave 2.4Ghz Tiny Wireless IEM System, but sold on Amazon as the LEKATO MS-1 for ~$48. Based on your review, both appear to be same. I love mine and use them for both sending iPad backing tracks to a Behringer Ultratone K450FX or as a wireless headphone solution when teaching (I bought two recivers and one transmitter). I love the versitility of these very tiny devices. My only concern is I have no experience with TEMU and was warned to avoid them. Curious what others think of TEMU.

Enjoy your videos Scott. Noticed you using NiMh AA for WL packs. Just thought I'd give you a video idea or something you can test. I noticed a huge difference in reliability and range when switching to Lithium rechargeable AA from NiMh rechargeable AA (likely because NiMh AA are 1.2V opposed to Lithium AA which stay at 1.5V similar to non-rechargable alkalines). Just thought I'd mention it! Thanks again for the vids, depth, and educational perspective you bring. You can tell you work hard!
Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to look into that. As long as my batteries survive a 4 hour set I’m usually good because I charge them after a gig. But it’s worth looking into. Thanks for sharing 🤘
Twin peaks! Thank you so much for these educational videos, I learned so much and very helpful to our church! We are looking for this for a long time. Godbless
Thank you so much for this bro! Really helpful. How many of the m-vaves do you think would start running into trouble? If I wanted to run maybe 4 or 5 on the stage, would that start getting interference and stuff?
@@ScottUhlMusic ohh ok i didnt notice that. What about your other guitar transmitter + behringer p2 setup? Which transmitters would reliably be able to run 5 iems on? Thanks again!!
Hey Scott, my band currently uses an X32 full board, plus we all use P16-M'S We have the Xvive U4's that we used, they do work great, nice & clear, great tone, easy to use, BUT, there only mono, & nothing beats being able to pan instruments for your in ears 😊 So i bought some Kimafuns, after a couple uses of them, 2 of them went kinda wonky, they introduced a bunch of distortion, but at 1st, they did work well, really liked that i could use it as stereo, so no im going to try the lakato ms 1 in ears, thanks for the videos, very very informative 😀 Tho i really like the P16's & being able to control what ever channel is being used, im not wondering if maybe using the XLR outs on my board & my SD 16 may have been better since we could have purchased much better IEM equipment & just have my guys down MS & they could have controlled there own monitor mix, in restricted mode of coarse But its not easy finding stereo IEM's for our P16's If you have any advice, im all ears 😂
Yeah, get a nice stereo one! Audio technica one is my favorite, but even if you cannot afford that, the Phenyx pro PTM 10 is a great budget friendly option as well. I have videos on my channel for both 🤘
Twin Peeks! Hey! Nice video. I've watched so much of your stuff. I have never ordered off of temu, but with prices being what they are how can I not check it out. Hope you're having a good one!
Twin Peaks! Great review! Those M-Vave IEMs are exactly the same as the Lekato MS-1's you've reviewed previously for almost half the price. Good setup for anyone that needs something simple.
I had bought 3 pairs of the $9 dual-driver IEMs (I think they were $7 when I ordered them), and honestly? They're pretty great! Granted, I have never used a set of top-shelf IEMs before, but for just basic tracking and basic on-stage monitoring, I like them. But as always, YMMV. That wireless IEM set with 8 receivers is pretty tantalizing for my band that has 7 members...
Nice! Glad to hear it’s working well for you. And just remember, you get 2 mixes total and have to share a mix when you add more. But if you are good with that, then yeah it’s great!

Excellent! The "Twin Peaks" sounds like a piece of gear that I should have in my gigs. Great video. Wish u the best!
Thank you so much for this bro! Really helpful. How many of the m-vaves do you think would start running into trouble? If I wanted to run maybe 4 or 5 on the stage, would that start getting interference and stuff?
Thanks for watching! Do NOT use 4 or 5 of those. I would say 1 for those cheap ones. They literally transmit on only one channel
@@ScottUhlMusic ohh ok i didnt notice that. What about your other guitar transmitter + behringer p2 setup? Which transmitters would reliably be able to run 5 iems on? Thanks again!!
@@kosmikkittensofficial I think this video will help you out: th-cam.com/video/Xi2JcMomjQ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0DbNUK_07Ir-5wL9
Twin Peaks was a show I loved back in the day. Thanks for the videos
I was obsessed when I found it when I was like 18
Thanks Scott, i like the quality of your videos, and your latest "cheapest stuff" videos are very interesting ! Let's go for "Twin Peaks" 🙏
Glad you like them!
Hey Scott, my band currently uses an X32 full board, plus we all use P16-M'S
We have the Xvive U4's that we used, they do work great, nice & clear, great tone, easy to use, BUT, there only mono, & nothing beats being able to pan instruments for your in ears 😊
So i bought some Kimafuns, after a couple uses of them, 2 of them went kinda wonky, they introduced a bunch of distortion, but at 1st, they did work well, really liked that i could use it as stereo, so no im going to try the lakato ms 1 in ears, thanks for the videos, very very informative 😀
Tho i really like the P16's & being able to control what ever channel is being used, im not wondering if maybe using the XLR outs on my board & my SD 16 may have been better since we could have purchased much better IEM equipment & just have my guys down MS & they could have controlled there own monitor mix, in restricted mode of coarse
But its not easy finding stereo IEM's for our P16's
If you have any advice, im all ears 😂
Yeah, get a nice stereo one! Audio technica one is my favorite, but even if you cannot afford that, the Phenyx pro PTM 10 is a great budget friendly option as well. I have videos on my channel for both 🤘
I’m never Lost after watching one of your videos. Great stuff!
I finally finished binging TWIN PEAKS last week. Thanks for the video, Scott.
Nice!! 🤘🤘
Twin Peaks was a great show...and they make good anti freeze
Easy to get "Lost" on Temu but your videos have links! so thanks for the chance!
Twin Peeks!
Hey! Nice video. I've watched so much of your stuff. I have never ordered off of temu, but with prices being what they are how can I not check it out. Hope you're having a good one!
Again another awesome ans honest review! Keep going! And Lost is one of my favorite tv show too :)
Thanks! And good choice! 🤘
Twin Peaks!
Great review! Those M-Vave IEMs are exactly the same as the Lekato MS-1's you've reviewed previously for almost half the price. Good setup for anyone that needs something simple.
Yup exactly 🤘
That dual system looks 🔥🔥🔥 Two wireless in 1U?! Like Twin Peaks!
Very good video......we are considering some in-ear options and these quality budget items make sense. Twin Peaks, for sure!
Love the video, would love to have a pair of wireless inears for my band. It would really benefit them at this stage. Twin Peaks!
Great review, unfortunately the links lead to a page with "discontinued product" but good to know temu has stuff that works! Twin peaks!
Yeah, definitely bummed it was sold out so fast
what app are you running on the iPad for all the chord charts, clicks, tracks, etc?
I use stage Traxx 3 👍
Twin Peaks! Thank you Scott for your great reviews. Keep up the great work!
Hey Scott, Fantastic job with the reviews and information! TWIN PEAKS!
Lost, Twin Peaks, Would love to use this system at my church
Thanks for the review. Confirming the 4 channel unit link is showing discontinued on Temu already. Love some Twin Peaks.
Yeah, definitely bummed!
Amazing video! Question. Are the first set of IEMs, the one for $150, is that a stereo input or mono?
Thanks! It doesn’t have the stereo panning trick, but I believe it’s a stereo input with both
