By chance. do you know where the Glow light is? If so, how do you turn it on? It’s the 3 lights that sets above the inputs and outputs in the back on the compact.

What about the max spl? i've noticed that if you shout into those microphones, the cheap microphones tend to clip and distort, so maybe be it's not the best microphone for 32-bit floating point audio recording.

For the average show, it could be that the cheap mikes will not make a big diffence. Using brand mikes is a way to show respect for the musicians, I think.

Hey Guillaume, I love your contributions to the Wing knowledgebase! Regarding your shifting colored background; I'm not a fan. If you can control the phasing to be between dark blue to magenta, that would be better. But right now your rightside background light phases through green and pretty much no color looks worse on a caucasian crown than pale green. If it were me I would find the best blend of lights and let them remain static. The moving background lights distract attention from what you are saying...my humble opinion. Cheers

If your Ubiquiti switch is from the Pro, Enterprise or Max series, you now have an option called ProAv that allows you to set vlans specifically for Dante, Shure, AES67 etc…automatically like Netgear does on their AV Line.

Basic question: If I connect a hardware synth (stereo) to the wing, the cables would go into inputs 1 and 2 on the back, correct?

Hello... I love the fact this is a blind test! Really not that much difference to my ears... take into account my age (high freq. > 8kHz hearing's pretty much gone), the possible compressions of all internet servers while transmitting this video, etc. etc.) there's just mike D that sounded slightly 'darker' on snare test, but that may just be due to the positioning of the mike, or even its attachment to the snare drum...

Reset your swich bij holding the reset button long enough. Maybe 3 times longer than the manual says. It could be that you disabled vlan 1. This is probably the vlan in which you can control the switch.

damnn I was aiming for something like this but this wouldnt work for my setup, was trying my best not to put the speaker on my desk so its easier to clean but it is what it is. Amazing setup!

I’m just confused about something in the context of subgroups. Earlier you could setup the whole bus to a be subgroup and then everything would go to the bus as a group. But now there’s no bus mode anymore and you are able to send some channels to the bus as a group and also some as pre/post fader at the same time. Which is kinda confusing. Why even have a group tap mode at this point? Isn’t it the same as sending everything post fader and keeping that at 0? Intuitively you’d either have the bus setup as a group, or pre/post fader. Would love for you to clear this out for us. Thanks a lot! Your content has been very helpful so far!

I'm curious why I don't have those options. I'm on Wing Edit (Rack) 3.1. For me, Source Select is on the (top) Home tab, not the (2nd) Config tab and it's not labeled "Bus Feed Configuration" and doesn't have all those option. I'm on Wing Edit 3.1, but not connected to the mixer. Is this only available for the desk and not the Rack?

Par contre, ils n'ont pas mis le Wing Edit à jour avec la version 3.0.5, ce qui fait que l'on n'a pas accès à ces menus... Dommage pour les possesseurs du Rack!

I installed the option card now and run the Dante controller, but I don't see Dante. I'm using the wing rack 3.5 firmware version and I installed Dante today, but I can't find it. I need help
