Lights again, Focus catches up, window down, WHAT you've got there is very, very SPECIAL, I said big news is it red-line's at.12,000rpm,driver laughed, we parted, hindsight should have said red-lines 12,000, when I left it for parked, never went above 6,500 RPM, Nearly had kittens, such a biking BUZZ. Perfect Storm??, all at back wheel, relaxed, not pulling arms anymore, like a time-vortex, bubble, tunnel scenario., 650 BANDIT????, BEST BIKE in the WORLD. And I ain't even lying. Professor Bandit 650 B.T.E.out.
I've had one for years. I'll never sell it.
Unfortunately I sold mine. It was a huge mistake
Great review! Thanks. :)
Thanks. Unfortunately, I sold the Bandit but now I'm happily riding a Himalayan. I'm sure I'll get another Bandit in the future though
WOW. I can't believe this video has got so many views. Please check our my other videos & subscribe if you like them. Thanks guys.
I haver One of 1996 with 78000KLM and i love it. Is a great bike.
It sure is. I'm about to go on a mini adventure on my Bandit. It's the winter but I know my bike will handle fine. Thanks for watching and commenting
Aha! The road into Croyde… lovely area!
If you liked that you'll like the video I'm publishing later
Thanks for the info
No problem
Doing my bike theory test on Monday and after the basic training have my heart set on a bandit. A fazer or hornet either if I can't find a nice bandit.
They're all great bigginer bikes. Good luck.
Yes they are still great in 2021 Cleehills Shropshire, here I come
I still love mine. I'm not a speed freak but I'm starting to feel it could do with a bit more power. Could just be the way I ride. I tend to change gear too early so don't get to enjoy the whole rev range
I'm thinking about buying a bandit after just coming across these, I sold my Honda pan as it got a bit of a handful as I'm 64. I have a little xmax as a run around and a xj 600 if I want to go a bit faster. What's the verdict on an old guy like me getting one, would it be too heavy or should I just go for it? Thanks in advance.
Its hard to say because some 64 year olds are stronger than me. I'll say its very similar to the xj600 in weight & power but the Bandit is smoother & its very forgiving
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs good reply 😊 I'm going to view a 2002 bandit tomorrow, anything I should look out for apart from my wife telling me off when she finds out about it 😀
@@tamar5261 I made a video. The thumbnail says 'everything you need to know' I explain what to watch out for in that video. Good luck 👍
Great vid ...had mine for 20 years, not rode it very much lol......its holding up and back on the road after covid times, but how the hell do you handle the weight? just learnt
the kick stand swivel which will help alot !
I'm not brave enough to do the kick stand swivel but I can hold the bike up with my finger and thumb if you get the balance right
Great content..love the simplicity in your videos..kudos to you..could you also share which windshield does your bandit have?looks darn good🔥
Thanks & thanks for subscribing. Its called Puig 0869N windshield naked black.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs expecting more exciting videos from you
Great Vid,I'm not a biker but really enjoy your "vlogs"
The onboard ride outs are brill...loved the overtake manoeuvre
Spot on👌
Bikers should overtake from a distance if there's room like I did. You cant get up someone's behind then do it.
I would never have thought about non bikers watching motovlogs...that's interesting to know :D
I’ve got a 2001 600 of the bandit and shoot mine has 60k on it running great still
That's good to hear. I've had a couple cables break recently but that's a cheap & easy fix
Just got my MC license. I'm 193 cm. tall (6.33) How is it for a tall person? Found one from 2007 with 75.000 kilomiters on in. How much longer should it be able to go without needing too much service with the engine?
Im just under 6ft & its still comfortable. It's physically large compared to modern sports bikes. The engines are known to be solid & last a long time. 75k kilometres is a lot so give it a good look over. Common faults are the forks, look for leaking & check all the electrics.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs awsome, thanks for the quick answer! Forks should just have been fixed, otherwise it looks really clean. My father in law will look at it with me. He's been driving for 30+ years :)
@@graknosh ideal. Good luck. You'll love the Bandit.
My first bike was a 96 bandit gsf600. Wish I never sold it
What bikes have you had since?
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs I've downgraded. 96 gs500e then 07 ninja 650r is current
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs my bandit was the 600s with bikini fairing. It was pretty nice. Garage kept and never ridden by the girl I got it from
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs although the bandit was pretty heavy and slow for an inline four. I feel like my 650 is faster. Definitely lighter.
@@holyhero259 I've ridden a few bikes & still think the Bandit is the best. I won't mind a small nimble bike like the Ducati scrambler though
Top vid!
Cheers mate
Excelente video bro y muy buena moto, para los años que tiene se ve super cuidada saludos.
Excellent video bro and very good bike, for the years he has looks super careful greetings
Thank you 👍
Awesome mate looks identical to mine 😀
You're a lucky man
What year is yours? I've just bought a 1999 one with 46k miles. Gonna have to restrict it to my A2 License but until I get a full long ride out on it I won't really know how it is lol. Felt ok on the short right out I did.
Hi mate. Mine is 1996 so no different to yours. Its a great bike. Im literally just about to publish a video about my first year riding & its pretty Suzuki Bandit heavy.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs thanks for the quick reply. My test isn't even for another 3 days but I got this bike at an absolute steal price compared to others to had to have it. Fingers crossed when I pass the test it'll ok on a restriction. Whole reason i want for a bandit was that apparently the inline 4 is much better restricted then any other bike. Perfect I'll look forward to your video. Have you had any issues with it? Anything I should look out for when I get mine?
@@brandonstapleton1350 I had my brakes calipers serviced & that was expensive but no problems with it. You'll find larger bikes cost more to repair. I chain & sprocket on my 125 never cost much but cost over £100 on my bandit.
Good luck. Let me know how you get on.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs luckily enough bike is fully serviced up until 2 days ago. Fingers crossed it won't need anything for a year or two. Bike won't be used for work commutes and only used for fun so won't be too many miles put on it. Will do bud. I'll keep an eye out for that video 👍
@Brandon Stapleton 😆 You'll do a lot of miles because the Bandit is very comfortable. What part of the world do you live in?
Also the video is live now
Sounds good too!
It sounds good throughout all the gears but that encourages me to hoon it.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Haha, I'm exactly the same. I have every intention to ride conservatively whenever I go out, it rarely pans out that way.
All bikes sound good lol...Gestos's MT09 with the Black widow sounds the nuts though.
I bought one and it’s too loud does anyone have exhaust suggestions? It came with a loud aftermarket exhaust
Maybe buy a slip on exhaust with a baffle in it or check to see if yours has a baffle. Buy one if it doesn't
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs thank you brother 🙏🏽
80bhp isn't enough 🤣🤣🤣 Another great video fella keep up the good work
The Bandit is actually meant to be 72 but people have got more on the dyno. 80bhp is enough to pull away safely & for fun. I'll like more though 😆
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs never had my old bandit Dyno but felt about 80 ish. My Gixxer Dyno last year at 117bhp, we'll have to go out for a ride sometime. I'm currently watching your friendly Friday #1 haha

@@EpicAdamMotovlogs if your talking about today I was just about to go for a walk with my girlfriend 😭
@@MischievousBiker No problem. Another time. C90adventures is local too, check him out.
What kind of gas mileage do you get?
I think I get around 150 miles to a full tank
And the tank is 5 gallons?
@@korazon3spinado 5.2 yes.
So about 30 mpg?
I ride an 09 gs500f. It gets about 40 around town and 50 on the highway but it has less power than yours.
😊Naaaaaaaaaaaked!
No-one, and I mean no-one talks about MPG, range and how a bike fits a taller rider...I have real issues finding a comfy bike for my 6'2" frame, with the range to do decent mileage as a real workhorse and not a toy....200 miles in 5 years is not transport.
I think I should make another review video then
Some people say it's a great bike for beginners and others will say it absolutely isn't. The problem is supposedly large weight which makes it hard to handle on lower speed maneuver's and it's not that easy to control it for beginners. Anybody has an opinion on this?
It's a great first big bike. You don't notice the weight when moving. It's definitely heavier than a 125cc but it's fine
I dropped it once during driving lessons whilst stopping on a bit of a slanted decline, it's definitely a lot to handle if you're not used to it
People say that you so
yep old bike better then new china bike ANYday
100%
It's a fun bike but in CA I need ABS
Yeah. The Bandit doesn't have anything like that. It doesn't even have a fuel gauge
What were you looking at online naked again? bikes? Hmmm sounds like a miss use of the tinterweb :p
Better than recipes
Misuse of the internet? lol sound like a fabulous use of it to me ;) #LAne
you havent even gotten to the power curve yet the power only hits at 8000rpm XD
I did plenty of times. Great fun. Still the best bike I've ever owned
Darling...what you doing in the office??
Looking at naked bikes!!!!
Haha 😃
Blocks don't look to bad either 😆
Do you mean the buildings? I was in Area 52.
Headshot 😂 4:48
I think you're right actually 🤔
No 80bhp is not enough they a good small bike tho and cheap
80bhp is enough to keep up with traffic & to sit comfortably at the legal limit but more is fun. I do miss the power I had on my zx6r.
its 96.6bhp
I don't think it is. The 1200 could be but not the 600.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs your video does not say its a 600 i thought it was a 1200

Overtaking over zebra crossing/ zigzag lines is illegal and would get you pulled for driving without due care or even dangerous driving if you nearly hit someone crossing the zebra. If you hit them you could be facing causing death by dangerous driving and prison. Old Bill watch videos too!!
I know. Its very naughty of me. I probably shouldn't have put that in the video
I watch bike videos often and notice such things because I drive in a professional capacity. Please take care out there, read the road ahead and stay safe. By the way, I ride and restore bikes, currently refurbing a 97 Bandit 600! All the best! :)
@@kevlarrabbit5732 cheers. My bike is playing up. Its running rich & is very slow. I think I have water in the spark plugs. Easy fix though
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Fouled plugs could be rich running which suggests lack of airflow. Check air intake junctions for leaks and air filter.
@@kevlarrabbit5732 I think it was a damp spark plug because I just fixed it & its running better but not great. Probably do need a new air filter though
