Just had my 08 Silverado framework done by MorFab. Justin welds like nobody's business! I couldn't be happier with the results. My truck now feels solid and planted to the road. I gotta give a big thumbs up and Thank You to Justina. Since I live in Delaware, 3.5hrs away, she got me on the calendar and made it super convenient for me to drop off and pick up my truck.
What's the charge for something like so? Trying buy a clean 08 gmc cracked frame for 3500 101000 miles wonder if it's worth the purchase
@@jvtvi4775 I'd stay away from a cracked frame, especially in a 3500 which is a 1ton vs the 1500 half ton capacity. The job in this video is the crossmembers that attached to the frame. But send that question to Justin directly.
@cromagnon3315 Thanks, man, for the reply. I meant to say the price was $3,500, and it's a 08 1500. Was think it is worth the buy with miles around 101,000.

Great work. I have just finished repairing my Isuzu trooper frame and I wish to god I would ha e lofted the body off. Bit more work than a truck. Ed but welding the top of the frame was a nightmare. Can't wait for the longer Jeep video.
where did you find the cross pipes for the 2008 silverado think you said supercab on the video
Where did you buy the crossmembers I need the c-channel one and can’t find it anywhere?
What do I need to look for to find someone to help me do this. My Silverado has a crack in the main frame drivers side right below where the cab and bed meet.

Where did you get the repair kit?
When do you know it’s time do replace the rear cross members? Mine have some rust but I imagine it will continue to hold. Is it mainly supporting the rear tire?

What about the rot in front of the first cross member? On the bottom of the frame Where they normally rot just leaving that? 😮

Hey Justin , tell me something, can u still do a repair job on a frame if its crusty as hell!! Thinking about but don't want to waste the time if its not worth it.
Scraped a few spots , seems solid enough, couple of cracks, just not sure if it's worth it!!

We ended up repairing that on a later visit. Customer didn’t have the funds to do it all at the time of that video.

I’d be charging around $800 of labor and then whatever the repair kit costs just to give you an idea.
