There is plenty money in both. I’ve been doing this for over 14 years. The highest ambulatory call (non wheelchair) trip I’ve done as a driver was $950 round trip that took me less than 5 hours to complete. That paid the company $1350.( later found this when I became the operational Manager of said company) we had 26 medical drivers only 9 of them were wheelchair drivers. It is best if you only do ambulatory runs to have a van, because you can pick multiple clients up versus doing one at a time. This a very lucrative business. However what it really needs is for more companies to care about their clients instead of a $. Money will be made however treat the clients with the upmost respect and give them reliable, safe, on time service, with in the most sincere manners as possible. The down side I don’t hear people ever talk about is the fact a lot of the patients that you get to know suffer greatly and you lose a lot of them to the conditions that they are dealing with. Also let you know how precious life really is. If we are blessed to live long enough we may all need this service on day. One way or the other. Great video ladies❤

Hello, thank you for the content. Just to clarify the difference for getting started in the business. In order to do NEMT you have to have a vehicle that accommodates, wheel chair, gurney. So if you plan on just starting with a mini van NMT is your only option? Correct?

Can you have both, NMT AND NEMT?
Most NEMT providers offer both. Yes!
