Well I understand where the gentleman is coming it's nice to have all that coverage but you certainly can go overboard one thing I have stressed over and over the insurance requirements by the state of Indiana are going to kill the non-emergency medical transportation business because the Brokers hardly pay you anything

We are told by our insurance company for the past 15 years we do not under any circumstances touch that client we are a no-touch Transportation Company now that is what we're told by our insurance company we are not nurses we are not trained to take people in and out of vehicles they must have an escort to help them especially if they're going to be drugged up with as far as like coming out of a pain clinic the people coming out of the pain clinics are like drunken sailors

Hello, you guys are great, you all have motivated me to start a NEMT / trucking company and I'm in the process of buying a NEMT vehicle in Chicago. I know it's more convenient to have a wheelchair access vehicle but did you really need it in the beginning? and do you all have examples of a policies and procedures (handbook)???

In 15 years of paying workman's compensation premiums we have never ever had an instance where we had to use workman's compensation insurance

Docs can be found on our website. You can start with what you have. However, WC and gurney services are more profitable. Start and just scale once you're able.
